Great brunch place! We easily got a table and the service was so quick. Not to mention the staff was patient and friendly. We ordered their mimosas and they were so good. Reasonably priced as well. Their corn hummus is definitely a must try. Goes so well with the drinks. We tried their beef and chicken burgers which were delicious. I usually don’t like fries as sides, but their fries are so well seasoned. Definitely a must try! Great food options with their special menu available as well. Do give this place a try !

We have been wanting to try the Wren for several months now, but it has always been so crowded and the wait too long. Even in a Wednesday night, we had a 20 minute wait. The service was excellent and the food super yummy. Everything was reasonably priced. Their beer list is extensive with a lot of yummy options on tap. Where they are lacking is their cocktail menu. They were unable to make several simple bar staples - but I suppose that’s just not their jam. I had their special “chicken Big Mac burger” which was amazing. Their fries were excellent - although my DH found them too greasy. If you’re a cocktail drinker, I’d say this is not your place- but if you’re a beer drinker and yummy food eater, absolutely go here!

Lovely little place near Greentown. The burger the best the chicken wings were nicely presented but i didnt enjoy the flavor of the sauce as much. Everything was freshly made and served nice and warm. Service was great and attentive. Their location is relatively small and cozy but you could go as groups as well.

There was a bit of a wait when we got there, so we popped over to moms basement for a beer before hand. The wait was worth it. We had some amazing vegan dishes, and the best fries I have had in so long. Amazing experience.

Came here on a date with my girlfriend, and it was 1000/10. They were decently busy so we were seated at the bar, normally I would be a little upset but the waitor (Suza) and waitresses (Jess and another I didn't catch their name) were amazing. We saw their instagram post showcasing their daily special, which was the Spicy Chicken Caesar Sandwich. It was phenomenal, definitely the best chicken sandwich I've ever had, and i dont see that changing. The fries it was paired with were shockingly almost as good as the sandwich. They weren't boring old french fries you get at any restaurant, but rather they were seasoned and cooked perfectly. Alongside it, we got the Fried Wonton Dumplings, which were also perfect. The chef here is honestly amazing and will definitely be back again. 10/10.

Have returned. A local favourite, pub grub, local drafts that change almost daily. Their servers are knowledgeable, will help you find a great tasting pint in their extensive collection. Food menu is broad and fairly typical, nothing too crazy going on. Takes AMEX.

Went there for Sunday brunch mid-afternoon, no wait but the restaurant was half full, so I think it is probably quite a popular restaurant. There is a patio out front and the inside atmosphere is cozy. Service was friendly and attentive. A reasonable number of food choices and the food was delicious. Not a huge selection of beer on tap or in cans luckily I did manage to find something I enjoyed! Overall I think it is a good place for a quick bite.

Such a cozy place. Loved everything, friendly and helpful staff, delicious food and reasonable pricing. They have a daily special each day which is really exciting. You can check their Instagram for the daily specials. Definitely worth the visit.

Great little pub for a cozy bite to eat. The beer selection has a good variety, the staff are friendly, and the food is delicious. Follow their Instagram for a beautiful picture of the daily special (the butter chicken sandwich was so good).

Went for weekend lunch with a friend. Hostesses are super friendly. The Beef dip sandwich was delicious. And the Margaritas were amazing!

Phenomenal menu! This place clearly has a very talented chef. They have a curated menu with probably 10-15 or so options yet somehow all of them sounded insanely delicious. In addition to that, if you check out their Instagram you’ll see they have a daily special. To come up with something of that caliber everyday is extremely impressive. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food and service. The fish tacos are some of the best I’ve ever had, great fusion flavours. That being said, I’m confident that anything off this menu would be amazing. Everyone at our table was very happy with their meals, and they have a great drink menu to go with it. Definitely stop here for a meal if you’re in the area but it’s also worth going out of your way to get there.

Can't count the number of times I have traveled from the Durham Region to this gem! My relationship with The Wren started as a fling over the Monday burger special but has evolved into a deeply committed relationship. I was just here on New Year's Eve morning because all of the brunch specials sounded so good! Pictured here are the Cubano Madame (a repeat special that I lost my mind over the first time I had it - definitely was worth the trip for round two!) and the hueveos toastadas which were both delicious. The staff are super friendly and helpful and the rotating tap is good for craft beer drinkers. I'm a cider drinker and love their house brew. No reservations and you should definitely expect to wait if the special is popular - they will sell out! Wednesday's chicken special never misses! Check out their Instagram for the daily special. It's cozy in the winter with harvest table, bar and window seating and the patio is nice in the summer. Love love love.

We came here a few months ago when it was warm enough to dine outdoors. They had heating lamps and service was impeccable. Overall, the food was very good and freshly made. They had a variety of delicious craft beers available They change their menu regularly, and many dishes have a Korean flare to them The burger was delicious, although the chicken sandwich while was quite good, I think I prefer something with a little more crunch. Fries and wings were very good as well I enjoyed this place and definitely a go-to place for brunch or a comfort meal. Cheers

Celebrated our anniversary with dinner at the Wren last minute over the weekend. Delicious, fresh-tasting food that's finger-lickin'-good; paired with friendly neighbourhood service from start to finish. Thank you!

Think I found a new favourite east end spot. Daily food specials, great on tap selection. Been twice, planning on going back very soon.

We ate here on a Sunday evening and were surprised by how busy it was. It was our first time, and we will definitely be back! Everything was stellar. We had a small wait for a table, which we didn't mind. The service was extremely friendly and efficient. They really make you feel like you are part of a community! The food and price points are spectacular. We had the fried chicken sandwich and the vegan crunch wrap. They were very different items, but both were unique with flavors and equally delicious. Fun atmosphere and very lively!

This was our second time, my husband I really loved the food, we had this special skirt steak, we've had the mozzarella sticks and the burguer last time. Everything was absolutely delicious, can't believe this is a pub! We sat at the bar both times, the service was very good and friendly. We are definitely becoming regulars ;) We also enjoyed the ambient, we are definitely coming back with some friends, music is not loud, great for enjoying a conversation.

They were so welcoming and friendly. The beer was great. The food was great. The wine was great. They forgot to charge us for a glass of wine. When we mentioned it, they didn't charge us (we paid for it in the tip) 👍. I had the Big Ol' Dippa and my partner had the Chorizo burger. Both excellent.

Visited on a busy Sunday afternoon and the servers were amazing and attentive. Food and beer list top notch. Definitely recommend.

Pros: Good food, Great drink menu Con: Drink menu on wall only simple pub food. Had lunch there. Service was okay, food was good, drinks were to be expected. The drink menu was on a chalk board at the front so seeing what the options were required you to take a picture of the drink menu before sitting down, not the end of the world, but a bit...different.

With a rustic-wood stylish interior, a small menu bursting with quality options made with flare, superb superior and a solid competition of beers on tap, I highly recommend the Wren. The Mexican street corn hummus was amazing while the burger hit all the right notes. Looking forward to coming back and trying one of their daily specials along with some more items from their menu.

Good service and the food was not bad.... this plate with corn flour puree is so good... highly recommend!

Some of the best fries you will have. Extremely well seasoned (not just salt) and double fried for the perfect crunch. Fairly good selection of beers on tap from smaller breweries. Good fried chicken and a good burger - Solid and flavourful bun that holds together, yet isn't overwhelming.

Tried this spot on a whim and was not disappointed. Friendly service! Meal recommendation by the server did not miss. Had the birria beef and polenta...it was fantastic! Will be coming back.
