By far my favourite Vietnamese restaurant anywhere near the area. Their bahn mi are amazing, delicious spring rolls and fantastic, fresh vermicelli dishes. Owner is awesome and clearly cares about quality and customers. Can't recommend enough.

I’m sorry but it’s just not for my taste. Spring roll: 5/5 Deep fried spring roll: 3/5 Bun rieu: 3/5 broth is very bland. Pho: 1/5 Kinda disappointed in this. Broth is very bland. Lots of noodle but only little meat. Spicy chicken wing: 4/5 Curry chicken: 1/5 very very bland. No flavour. Not a lot of meat. Big chunk of tarp and potato. This is not Vietnamese chicken curry. As a Vietnamese, this is not a Vietnamese restaurant to me. Flavour isn’t authentic. Maybe it’s good for non-Vietnamese. Sorry I spent $90 for dinner but very unhappy after :(

The banh mi was so-so. The bread was crispy but there was a ton of lettuce as fillers (a strange addition to banh mi) . Not enough pickled veggies and missing cilantro. Banh mi started at $7.00 and if you'd like the traditional pate and butter it's an additional $1.00.

Very bad portion size for takeout. I got a large size pho and only got 4 very thin slices of beef. That is even less than I expected for an extra small size. The taste is decent after re-boil the soup at home. But it was not worth the price.

definitely a five star kinda place! The price was competitive, food was amazing and service was great! Can’t really ask for more! The bo luc lac aka shaking beef was so juicy and tender! The banh mi baguette soaked in all that flavourful juices of the beef and just had to dunk it in the soup bases of bun ho hue! Unsuspecting plaza with this smack dab in the middle! The service was great! Didn’t rush us to order and helped us with any questions we had! Definitely coming back! Follow me on IG @thirst_and_taste for better pics and more amazing content!

Their banh mi are outstanding! Have been a repeat customer for these for awhile. Their fresh rolls are gigantic. They offer a peanut sauce as a standard pairing. Their fried rice was good but I felt the portion could have been bigger for the price. Next to try are their noodle soups!

Visited on September 19th, my first time. Customer service was great. Did not wait long for my takeout. Ordered #200 Vietnoms Small Sized Special Pho Noodle Soup and #100 Fried Spring Rolls with Chicken and Shrimp. 10% off if pay by cash. I enjoyed the Spring Rolls more than the Noodle Soup. There was not anything special about the noodle soup. Quality of food was not bad. May visit again to try a Lemongrass stir fry. No seating inside due to COVID19. Usually only a few seats available. Take out only.

My partner and I have found our ultimate go-to spot whenever our cravings for Vietnamese cuisine hit. This place offers that cherished homemade flavor we love. What sets it apart is the straightforward menu that's a breeze to navigate, unlike other Vietnamese restaurants. And the taste? Well, it's simply bursting with flavor. Not to mention, the prices are quite reasonable too. It's the perfect combination of deliciousness and affordability! And the owner is extremely friendly. If you're up for an extra treat, don't hesitate to inquire about their off-menu options. Trust me, they're fantastic!

Absolutely amazing vietnamese place I stopped by for a late lunch / early dinner with my family. Everything I ordered was super delicious and I highly recommend their pork sausage. I had it in the fresh rolls and banh mi, the banh mi had a crispy roll and overall balanced well to the veggies and meat. The fresh roll, I felt had a bit too much lettuce but was very good with the peanut sauce. Lastly, I had the iced coffee with condensed milk, very tasty vietnamese style iced coffee. I must say that the staff are very nice and accomodating, they accomodated our request to dine in despite primarily being a take out / delivery joint, with some stool seating in the front. They even brought out a chair for a woman waiting for an order for pick up! Overall, very delicious food at a very faie price with an overwhelmingly friendly atmosphere and hospitality from all of their staff.

I have traveled to Vietnam many times and have eaten there, so I know the taste of the original. This is the local taste of Vietnam. Especially the pho is very good. I'm glad to have this delicious place near my house. The staff is friendly and the interior is clean and bright. It's a small space, but there are also narrow tables where you can eat there. I am willing to go back here. It makes me happy to imagine eating a warm pho while watching the snow fall in winter.

Small restaurant that focuses more on pick up orders. But there are some spaces to sit and eat if you’d prefer. It was the perfect place to go on a cold day. We got bun Bo hue and pho and both were quite good and portion sizes were generous. I’d get it again if I was in the area.

Nice cozy little place. Their Banh Mi is fantastic. Not a lot of room to sit, also no sriracha or similar available.

I order regularly from this place since the beginning when they first opened years ago and have been a regular customer. I noticed the quality of their food have gone downhill in the past year, especially in the past few months. The chicken wings are well seasoned but the portion ain’t priced right. The soup in the Pho is no longer as fragrant compared to years ago. Today, I am disappointed as it reminds me of food court quality. I really miss the Vietnamese authenticity they used to have. What had happened?

One of my 2 go-to for authentic Vietnamese food. The pho is good. My favorite is the Hue spicy noodles - spicy, but so satisfying. Fragrant and flavourful, nice textures. They use Chinese spring roll wrapper (wheat and egg) for their spring rolls, not the rice wrapper but the filling is good. Fish sauce for the bun is a bit strong but ok once mixed in. Nice people.

We order regularly. All our orders have been great. Today we tried our first bahn mi (sandwiches). Beef, chicken and pork. Everyone loved the incredible tasting sandwiches. I loved the beef. All the food is fresh and delicious.

The Vietnamese Baguette (Banh Mi) here is Excellent and well priced. Be warned, you will never go back to a Subway sandwich again after you had one of these. The rice dish is OK. The place is take out only even the pictures show that they have a eating bar table setup.

This place popped up on my Yelp app, so I decided to check it out since I was in the area. Featured here is one of my fav Vietnamese soups “Bun Bo Hue.” I thought they did a decent job with this! I’ve had better, but I still thoroughly enjoyed it. I also had a lemongrass chicken banh mi (sandwich) which was tasty and fresh. I really appreciated how the meat is all charcoal grilled, just wish the portion size was bigger like most Viet subs. I tried a bit of the chicken pho but wasn’t a huge fan, it smelled very fragrant when it came out, so I thought it would taste a bit better. The cashier was very friendly. It’s more of a takeout joint than a dine-in restaurant, as they have limited seating available.

First time trying Vietnoms and must say the beef vermicelli with spring rolls was pretty good. To me, the portion is pretty big but that’s because they put a lot of vermicelli under the meat. The spring roll on the other hand taste delicious! Overall very happy and would visit again.

Great food. Very neatly served. Smelled fresh and looked wonderful. Small cozy place to eat. Would recommend try it out.

Everything was freshly made and tasted good. We got the pho special and grilled pork and spring rolls vermicelli, and portions were generous. The pho special had actual pieces of chicken and the grilled pork in the vermicelli was thinly sliced and grilled nicely. The food came out fairly quickly, and they offer a discount if you pay with cash. The space is designed mainly for takeout and therefore small, so there's only a few high-top counter seats. Parking is also a little tricky; the lot is really small and busy.

Got ubereats delivery. The vermacilli is a good size and tasty. To be honest, it is definitely comparable to other pho places and is very standard. Nothing wrong with that though!

Little hidden gem nestled in a small plaza on Sheppard. Very fresh and delicious food, clean restaurant, and fast service. Also offer a 10% cash discount. Mostly take out but a few spots to sit and dine in.

I recently dined at Foody and had a delightful experience. The menu boasts a variety of nutritious options, and the portions are generous. The serving temperature was perfect, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. I opted for the beef stew, and I must say the meat was exceptionally tender, creating a harmonious combination with the egg noodles. Overall, a satisfying dining experience.

Have come back here several times, and I love their banh mi sandwiches! I like the pork one best, but the beef is also good. Prices are reasonable, customer service is great, and food is wonderful!

I’ve been coming here once a week for a year and this is my observation. First, food here is delicious - I always get pork banh mi, special rice dish and flank brisket pho. Second, price here is very reasonable. Third, the family running this place is super nice and honest. These are the people I trust with good ingredients/food for my family.

I was blown away by the quality of this place - fresh rolls were amazing, banh mi was perfect with the bread that was a nice mix of crusty outside and soft inside with great quality beef. This is very easily going into my regular rotation of restaurants.

(Wrote a review for this place back in my Yelp days - this is just an updated review years later and yes, its gotten even better!!!) Vietnoms remains my favourite banh mi place. We have moved twice now and we still have to get a banh mi if we're in the area! Our usual orders are the chicken banh mi for me or the beef banh mi for my husband. AMPLE meat 😍, especially compared to other places we've been to. Note: I like my sandwiches a little saucy so I ask to pay extra for a runny fried egg added into my sandwich. I asked for it once many years ago and it's become my staple for all future orders 🤣. Drinks: gotta have that Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk. It starts off a little bitter but then the condensed milk softens the lingering taste in your mouth with some sweetness. Oh and something new I tried - pork belly!! My pic is a sample size (the real meal would obviously be bigger!). WOW. It was something from their weekly off-menu. It was so tender and then with the gravy/jus everything just melts in your mouth. I think if they made it into a sandwich, it would be my new favourite haha. Other notable mentions: deep fried tofu and spring rolls (fried or non fried version). When we have the stomach space, we order these too. P.S they also have catering. We ordered a platter of sandwiches in advance and the whole family enjoyed it (even the folks that never heard of banh mi before). They still tasted great even the following day ☺️.

Ordered the beef banh mi excepting something more authentic. Bread and meat itself was good but lettuce and mayo was totally unexpected. If you're looking for a snack or an upgrade to subway next door then this is it.

Best Bahn Mi I've tried. Definitely get the pate added. The grilled meat flavors are intense. I don't eat pork so only tried the beef and chicken and can never decide between the two so I usually get both. Absolute gem of a place! Happy I found it.
