    There is a small outdoor garden to sell different flowers and plants. Good to take a look to welcome Spring and Summer.

    The installer called Rocky finished the kitchen cabinets installation in January,12,2024.Unfortunately,after 1 week one of the cabinet door hinge was broken .I contacted the coordinator called Archie and he promised to tell someone fixing it for me.During the installation period this installer only did what he liked .He did not follow the designation .He adhesived the overlapped panel on the low cabinet and made a mouse hole for my kitchen.He moved my rangehood and leaving the hole on the wall and let me do the filling job.After I complained this poor skill to Archie,the installer's attitude was very rude.Hereby, I submit photos as fact check.Anyway,it is a nightmare transaction with Rona.I found one hinge was loosen and broken soon.

    After having an awful experience at another location, I did an online order from this store. All exceptional service from the call I did to check physical stock, to the online process, to the curb side pick-up process. Every person I encountered was extremely professional and customer service oriented. Hats off to this location; they’re doing something right here!

    Was at this location on Sunday Oct 16th to buy some floor tiles. Everyone that I asked for help was sure helpful. BIG SHOUT OUT to Cory in the flooring dept. He was very pleasant, patient, knowledgeable and went the extra mile. Let me not forget Angelo the manager of that Dept as well. Good group of workers I came in contact with.

    Picked up a mutihead screwdriver which was clearly marked at as discounted to $15.49 and it rang up at full price of $17.49. The self-checkout person can't leave the area and I had to take a picture of the display for her. It then turns out she can't process a request to apply the canning code of practice and I get sent to customer service who don't believe me and try to dismiss the price discrepancy as an item some other customer hand left in the bin. I insisted that the entire bin was full of the same product and even showed the picture I had taken earlier for the self-checkout. Only then did they send somebody to verify that they did indeed have their price wrong.

    Place is huge and the staff are friendly. While there wasn't anyone there to help us find the things we needed (since we honestly really didnt need the help due to how organized the store was), the staff regarding self checkout was just as helpful, helping us with it every time my mom and I struggled with something. It's a good place to get whatever things you need regarding gardening and home improvement.

    Jesus !So difficult,The big price tag shows $69.99, and was charged $79.99 when you purchased it. It's fine to refund the difference and leave! I wanted to buy 2 more Rolls, But was attacked by an employee named SHARAD in a very impolite tone! He said, You can only buy 1 roll(because you only bought 1)You CAN'T buy 2 rolls, that's how they give VIP treatment. 😱

    Oh my! Customer service poor hence the 2 stars. I waited over 1hr for a product they had on display and online showing in stock at this particular store only to be told after 1 hour ,"we don't have any". Home and Garden personnel for customer assistance was paged numerous times by the cashier and after 1 hr someone showed to help, while there were guys assisting others inside the store. I waited because of the distance I traveled from. After few days low and behold, the product I wanted to purchase price went up almost $200 more

    3750 Midland, Scarborough, Ontario Rona store provides online service. The employee named DAVID GUERRA should help me enough to get materials online. Although the weather was not very cold, he was friendly and gentle. It is very nice to have such an employee.

    The online order and in store pick up process was quick and easy. Much easier than walking up and down the aisle looking for various things. Lol. They even help to bring the large items out to your car and load it into the trunk for you :)

    I was so impressed with my experience at Rona today for a handful of reasons. I went to Rona to return a water feature that I purchased online. First of all, on the way from my car to customer service, two different employees offered to help me carry the bulky item. Then at customer service, I was served efficiently and with a friendly manner even though I didn't have the original packaging, and had bought the item 6 weeks ago (it didn't work properly). Next, as I browsed light fixtures, there were plenty of employees offering assistance to me and other customers. They seemed to be looking for opportunities to make customer experiences pleasant. I found my shopping experience at this Rona quite a contrast to that of its competitors, with ample staff and friendly, helpful tone. Although it's farther, I will do my home and garden shoppi g here.

    We visited their garden which had a lot of different plants and flowers. We ended up buying a pot of flower to put in our front yard for spring - fall which was like Around $35.

    Unfortunately will be closing Jan 11 which is the only reason I gave it one star. The place was great but they moved everything next door to Loews, a business decision.

    I guess it depends to whom your are speaking with but overall it was a nice experience. A few employees do not have all the knowledge then we have been redirected to Eddy that has been professional and helpful. He even gave us useful advice. The place is big, the price is okay. Depending what you are looking for. Big parking. And whoever will help you (with or less efforts…). Washrooms were clean. Also the woman at the pro service was very helpful. She helped us to confirm that they were still having some sticks and redirected us to Eddy. So it avoid us going to another Rona.

    I find the staff at this location are helpful, plenty of parking, and prices are comparable to other stores. All Lowe’s stores will convert to Rona on July 27, 2023. I hope the customer service continues. Sign up for their emails to be notified of promos. We got a great discount on their patio furniture.

    All you might need for your home. People are helpful. But they have to focus in bathroom cleanness and ensure they have hand sanitizer to use for their customers!

    I always express that I will write a Google review, and usually I never get around to it. This experience deserves more than that. Excellent customer service from the moment I stepped in the front door. I had to make a quick return with receipt and did so with no hassle whatsoever. The young lady that helped me, I didn't get her name but apparently it was employee: 4309592 according to the receipt. I then showed her two pictures of what I was looking for and she promptly directed me to where to find it (Stove terminal block + bracket and toilet fill valve + flapper). As I approached the appliance section, Wen greeted me with a big smile, walked me over to the display stove so I could easily show her what I was looking for, she quickly tended to another customer's concern as Alice was there at the counter and knew right away the small electrical appliance part I was looking for, Alice walked me straight to the part I needed, I came back to the display stove and visually checked it would be the part I need, success!! Archie was walking by at the time of and also greeted me! By then asked him about the toilet part I needed, without hesitation, he knew where to find it, I went and found the part and came back, I picked up two packages, one new inbox and one was opened previously, I asked Roger could I possibly get a discount on the open package and he said maybe a couple bucks, of course with the prices of everything these days I took the deal! Saved a couple bucks and the part I got is in perfect working condition! I went to check out at the front desk and Jenn was very professional, quickly checked with Roger, and promptly cashed me out. I must point out I have never taken to time to write a review, especially this long, My apologies if it's too long, but these employees must be recognized! A Big Thanks and appreciation to devoted and friendly, helpful, employees at Midland and Mcnicoll location. Employee#4309592, Wen, Alice, Archie, Roger & Jenn!     Decent hardware store to go to. Friendly staff, but some aren't that helpful 🤣 Most I've encountered are really nice, though. Not sure if the wood cutting area is open again... but the nice thing is that you can drive your vehicle into the lumber section to load, if you need wood.

    My sweetheart just couldn’t pass by this garden centre even though I consider Rona more home than garden. Most of the store was closed to in-store shopping. You must order online and then wait for a pickup notification. I just needed an excuse to get out of the rain storm that was blowing it’s way through the GTA. The visit was short as we motored our way through this Scarborough garden. That’s the benefit of touring with a gardening expert! No problem with finding parking here. Wait for it..... No, we checked out empty-handed!

    Went to look for gasket for my toilet’s dual flush valve. The store associate stated that thy don’t carry such item. But since the store is selling the type of toilets, they may have spare parts around. After rummaging boxes on high shelves, he couldn’t find any. He examined the gasket and find it flat on both sides with the side connecting to the toilet slightly deformed. He suggested I reversed the gasket with bulged part cut out. Even though I didn’t get what I needed, but the service is too-notch!

    I bought a washer and dryer there, and I also bought hoses and chimneys sold in the store. The pre-sales service was ok, but when it was installed, it said that the water pipes did not meet the specifications. The key is that the installer did not provide accessories, which is also So unprofessional, I can pay, as an installer don't you know that every home can't be the same? I want to return the item now

    Worst shopping experience ever. Rude staff, clueless on my questions and issues, not enough knowledge on the products, unfriendly shopping environment, blame customers for the staff mistakes. You would wonder, "How could a place like this still standing!" If you try to report to the manager, he will show you how strong connection he has with his team, not help you. I love Canada, but this type of service, pushing me to Home Deport. And I just did. Dont shop at this place. I wasnt even surprised when I saw more than 80% of bad reviews here. Never shop at this place again.

    This RONA is typically our go-to location due to proximity and generally carries the home hardware items that we've needed at various points. Parking is ample and has never been an issue. Service is hit or miss (not unlike other hardware stores), and sometimes the checkout can take a while. It does seem like a popular location for contractors and other tradespeople.

    any time i go there, service is quite decent (but selection is somewhat limited). people are so critical about customer service, not realizing they too will be acting in the same way at times or even worse than them all the time. For those who criticize the customer service, one day you will be very happy when flesh, bone and blood is replaced with plastic, metal and microchip. give people a break!

    A very spacious and pleasant shopping experience, punctuated by as usual, a relative lack of staff. However, when you finally do locate them, they are extremely pleasant. We had a young man by the name of David helping us out and he not only help us with picking up the light fixtures from a tall shelf, he also helped clean and dust off the dusty boxes that haven't been touched for some time, so that we have a more enjoyable shopping experience. He was also very happy to consistently ask if we needed any more help and tips. The store overall has a lot of great options and generally very convenient parking.

    Come here to find most of the home items I need since it's 2 mins away from my house. But today I went to see if I can get a new snow shovel, and snow brush. Apparently they don't carry any? Odd because there was a sign with the current flyer on it that said they sell snow shovels. Can't seem to locate it in the store.

    There was an older gentleman in the garden section which helped me pick out the best looking plants. He was very helpful in providing me tips to help make the plants flourish. The rest of the staff are cold especially the ones in the checkout section.

    Terrible experience in their lumberyard. Ordered 1x2 cedar online, for instore pickup. They took 72 hrs to fill the order and when I went to pick it up, 95% was absolute garbage. It took 40 mins from the time of arrival to speak to someone about it at which point they offered me 25% of the pieces that were broken, so 25% off of something they should have thrown out and never sold. I then had to go back to the other entrance with the garbage pieces to return them. They should have simply not filled the order given the obviously unacceptable pieces and I could have moved on and not wasted my time here. Will never be back.
