😠 Awful on every level. I am crushed by the inhumane and disrespectful treatment I received. Avoid, unless you want to be MISDIAGNOSED and given unnecessary antibiotics, and have a doctor, Dr. BABATOPE, rush you out of your appointment before even letting you finish explaining your concerns, then leav... Awful on every level. I am crushed by the inhumane and disrespectful treatment I received. Avoid, unless you want to be MISDIAGNOSED and given unnecessary antibiotics, and have a doctor, Dr. BABATOPE, rush you out of your appointment before even letting you finish explaining your concerns, then leave the room when you ask what he prescribed (he handed me the script without saying anything then walked out, I'm not exaggerating! I had to ask what his diagnosis was! )... he literally walked away from me and into another patient room before my concern was resolved, while I was still talking. I should have listened to the Google reviews and not wasted my time. If he would have listened to me describe my other symptoms, he would have been able to accurately diagnose me. I was reluctant to take his prescription because he seemed unsure in what he was saying, but filled it because the day was ending and wanted it in hand, in case a second opinion backed him up.. Then sought a second opinion. The pharmacy called me to ask if the doctor explained why I had been prescribed "a severe" amount of antibiotics ("nearly double the recommended amount used in studies")! Thankfully I had a second opinion who refuted his diagnosis after hearing my symptoms.

I didn't even get to see a doctor because it had reached maximum capacity (2pm and closes at 4pm). This review is actually more for the receptionist whom I spoke with. Unhelpful and passive aggressive. I know they see and speak to a lot of people over the course of the day but that doesn't excuse them or anyone to be dismissive or impolite. You're still in the business of GOOD customer service. Don't you want patients to visit the clinic again? Or leave feeling they were helped? I asked: if I could... -I was cut off with "we don't book appointments".. Great I wasn't going to ask that. I was wondering if.. "no you need to come back tomorrow at 9am"... Right but could I.. "ma'am, can you move to the front of the counter". So incredibly frustrating. I couldn't get my answer out and out of frustration walked out.. Dear reception please wait until the customer is finished talking before interrupting and cutting them off. Maybe offer solutions rather than shrugging your shoulders and dismissing them. Maybe when you finally do answer their questions, you use full clear sentences with a helpful resolution... Thanks.

I have not issues with the doctor himself, he has always taken the time to listen to my concerns. It is the reception that is my concern they don't answer there phone and when you finally get to someone they put you on hold and never get back to you. I have my family doctor here but it is so hard to get any appointment when no one is answering the phones. There is always someone at the desk why don't they answer the phones they just let them ring. When I do finally get an appointment I am not seen on time, last time my husband and I waited over 30 mins for an appointment that was scheduled for me. It is frustrating when the lack of care is shown in the clinic. If they need more staff to man the desk or phone there should be some guidelines to help patients that need to see the doctor and not end up in the emergency rooms because people can't answer there phones to make appointment.

Was referred to MCI for a dermatologist appointment. Staff was very friendly. Took me in for my appointment 30 mins early. Dermatology assistant was very nice. She took time to understand our issue to better help the doctor. Doctor was amazing. He took time to understand our concerns, family history as well as explained next steps. We were also able to get a dermatologist appointment within 2 days. Whereas my son who was referred to a different dermatology clinic is waiting 3 months for his appointment. I Highly recommend MCI doctors office.

I've been here a few times so I can understand the good and the bad. This place is very busy, you should expect a 1-2 hour wait time on average with 1 hour being the minimum on non-busy hours. The receptionists are lovely people that seem to be overworked dealing with constant in-person check-ins and phone calls. The doctors here can be a hit or miss- some try to take the time to understand your problems while others are dismissive and it feels like you are a number to them. In genuine pain or concerns I would not come here. Probably a better place for lesser injuries or sick day from work notes.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. DO NOT RECOMMEND !!!!! 1. The staff are incredibly rude. 2. The line rings forever and they barely pick up the phone 3. The staff are not aware of procedures and booked me in for an appointment without letting the doctor know 4. The staff don't communicate (doctors and reception staff). The doctor told me to come in, the staff made me wait for over an hour to see the doctor and when I told them I had an appointment they said that I didn't I'm definitely switching my family doctor to another doctor. This clinic is hard to deal with!!!

I called to book an appointment and was told I did not need to book i can just walk in. I checked the hours online, they close at 8PM....I left work and got there at 7:30pm and DESPERATELY needed to see a Dr as I had a VERY painful UTI. Ladies if you know, you know!!! The receptionist said they were all booked up and had reached their 75 patient limit for the day (I have never ever heard that before by any doctor or clinic but I have heard it by this clinic before) and again they were all booked up. When I looked there was nobody around at all and lights were off in some of the rooms. I guess they close up well before 8PM, I told reception my issue and all I needed was to see a Dr and get the basic antibiotics, they were just not going to see me and actually told me on my out "sorry about that", confusing to put it politely. This is not my first disappointing experience with this clinic, even when they were at Richview plaza. I should have known better. Basically even though their hours say until 8PM if you have any type of life past 4PM forget about trying to get into this clinic, seems they have their own agendas. I was ready to go to emergency which would have meant more hours in agony waiting in the ER. I was desperate so I tried a last ditch attempt to call another walk in closer to my house whom also closed at 8PM, I told the receptionist my issue over the phone and that I really needed to see a doctor she knew how much pain I was in and told me to come. Her and the doctor actually waited for me, did their testing right in the office and gave me my prescription all within 10 mins (they saved me, I plan on bringing them some chocolates or something for going above and beyond in my very PAINFUL time of need, otherwise I would have had to wait hours in agony at the ER, it REALLY meant a lot) and then proceeded to see my father who was with me and also needed to see a doctor even though his issue was not even urgent.

Extremely frustrating experience. Almost impossible to contact by phone. And have to keep listening to same long message. Try to skip message and have to listen again. Option to leave a message. Pointless. They do not reply. Website suggests sending an email. Pointless. They do not respond. One morning I was on the phone 3 hours, nothing. Another time I was 13th on the wait list on the phone. My turn came up and they hung up on me. Start again and wait on phone for 30 minutes. I have to go in person to book an appointment. What walk-in. You have to phone to book a walk-in. Hah, try contact them by phone. My doctor, who I like, joined them else I would never use MCI Doctor's Office.

Went there after trying numerous times to speak to someone on the phone to see if I needed to make an appointment. The voice system does not send you to voicemail. It does not give you an option to make an appointment. It keeps going back to option 1 or 2. Two other people were in there ahead of me and they had the same problems. They were told the same thing I was. It's working and you need to make an appointment. Never will I go back there again. Wasted gas and my time. The receptionists can't see the problem.

The absolute most disorganized service. I was placed second on the list for telephone appointment at 9am…11:30 NO CALL so I try to call the clinic to find out what is happening. It is easier for me to drive back to the clinic after waiting on the line for 15 minutes. When I get here I’m told that the doctor working from home is behind??? How is that possible. I am then fit in for an in-person appt and I overhear someone asking when she will be seen because she has been waiting two hours. I don’t ever recommend coming here. Thankfully the nurse who took a sample from me in the morning recognizes me and is the person who arranges for me to see a doctor and follows up on my test results. He gets 5 stars but the rest clinic requires a complete organizational overhaul.

I am not sure why they do not have more doctors? I came here twice and waited 3 hours each time. When I asked for some water the receptionist rolled her eyes. I find the receptionist to be hostile and rude. The nurses and doctors are great but flustered and can easily make mistakes. Make sure to remind the doctor of prescriptions. This seems odd but they forget to write prescriptions for basic infections. Also double check everything before you leave, they will make you wait another three hours for their mistake.

Do not go to this clinic unless in complete desperation. I attempted to see a doctor 3 times today to no avail. On the 3rd attempt , I tried phoning at 6:30pm to see what availability would be as they close at 8pm. So phone system said I was 1st in line for my call to be answered. No one answered. Imagine my surprise when I drove again to the clinic, the waiting room was empty, the receptionist sitting doing nothing, then tells me the clinic is closed. The door was open, the flashy "OPEN" sign was on. Why she couldn't have answered the phone to save me the trip I don't know. So unprofessional in every way.Never understand why we have to give one star to complete review.

If I could give this place Zero stars, I would. What is the point of having an online booking system with appointment times, if they're not going to be honoured? Both my husband and I booked appointments, and when we called in an hour later to see if there was an issue, were told the doctors double booked themselves and will call when it is convenient. Lovely.

If I could give zero stars I would. My husband went in and was told there were 4 people ahead of him. An hour and a half later there were still 4 people ahead of him. People would walk in and inevitably start sceaming at the receptionists because of the long wait and these people were taken in earlier despite the fact that they came in after my husband. When my husband was finally fed up, he informed them he was leaving and was told he was next. He decided to stick it out and an hour later he still had not seen the doctor. Over a 3 hour wait and he never saw the doctor. There is a serious lack of management at this clinic.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Wong’s family practice for over 10 years and I will not leave until she retires. She is very supportive, gives you the truth with compassion and kindness and always listens to the patient. The staff are equally as great. Always helpful, friendly, supportive and they are like family. I’m shocked to see the low reviews for this place; mind you most of it is for the walk-in portion and frankly, it’s a walk-in, so I’m not sure what people expect as most walk-ins you have to wait. Dr. Wong has been pivotal in supporting my mental and physical health and her support for one elective surgery was beyond measurable. I couldn’t ask for a better family doctor. Thank you Dr. Wong and your team for always taking care of me!

Where to begin.. I have every major symptom of strep throat and I came to this clinic. I was told I had to make an appt and come back and also that I needed to do a rapid test for covid beforehand. I did the test and not one staff member checked it so i dont understand why I needed it to begin with. I was seen by a doctor after waiting almost half hour after my appt time. He checked my breathing with a stethascope and told me I probably have covid and theres nothing they can do?! The doctor is basically making an uneducated guess on what you have without checking your throat or anything else. I explained my breathing was difficult and that my glands and neck was swollen and I was told antibiotics dont help with that (they 1000% help) How can he rule out strep throat without swabbing my throat to check for strep? How does he know I have covid without doing a proper covid check as i had already showed negative on the rapid test. No body here cares about you or your health and just wants you out as soon as possible. No questions answered at all. I asked if it was ok to take antibiotics without knowing if I needed them and he said yes and that was it. Basically i was prescribed drugs for an illness that nobody knows I suffer from because there was no test to determine what I had. Complete waste of time coming to this circus. Best bet is just go to a hospital or your regular doctor as these people have degrees from a cracker jack box. Funniest part however is all the negative reviews with a generic response from the mci team telling them to email their concern to another email. Why have you guys not already read it here? Why do people need to tell you the same thing twice? Because they want to act like they solved your problem and sweep it under the rug.

This place is incompetent on EVERY level. Walked into the clinic right before 9am - they open the doors at 8am which they don't mention anywhere so there was already a long line. Got on the list - there is a mix of appointments and walk-ins so that makes it all more confusing. After waiting 2 hours I checked to see where I was and they had FORGOTTEN to put me and the lady ahead of me on the list. So we waited at least an extra 90 minutes. No apology. So if you have an extra 3 hours to kill and you like to sit in a room with sick people this is the place for you.

Terrible experience. I had spoken with the doctor and had a prescription filled. I was told it would be sent to the Pharmacy right beside the doctors office. I went around an hour later to pick it up, waited 30 mins in line because the pharmacy was busy. Then pharmacist told they had not received anything for me. I tried calling the receptionist at the MCI clinic back to see why my prescription was not sent over like I was told it would be. However, MCI decided to close early without any notice so I was unable to speak with anyone. I wasted a couple of hours and never received my prescription.

Great service. Was treated in an hour (the time the administrator estimated) and the doctor, nurse, and staff were all so kind. While I waited I just went to the stores and restaurants in the plaza, it was very convenient. Despite seeing so many people that day everyone working there was positive and made the experience a good one.

People who give 1 star rating to this place are right. I went on a Saturday with my wife and they close at 4 PM. We arrived at 2 PM. She had a gum infection and just came for an antibiotic prescription. Even 2 full hours before closing, the receptionist told us they were full. There were only 5 people waiting. We begged the receptionist to make an exception as it would take just 5 minutes to examine and prescribe antibiotics. The receptionist called the nurse who was very rude and confirmed that they will not see her. We insisted to see the doctor who was young. We begged him to see her telling him we can wait until he finished with everyone else. He refused to listen and he said "if you go to the mechanic you have to make an appointment". So in his view, to be a doctor and to take care of people is the same as being a mechanic. Is that what this doctor learned in university? Awful service at this walk in clinic and complete disregard of people they should be taking care of. This doctor and the rude nurse should learn to have respect for people. We are not machines to be fixed by a mechanic. When I asked the receptionist to provide the name of the nurse so I can complain, she refused saying that she doesn't know the name. Do they not work in the same place? She gave a name eventually for the nurse, just Evan if that's real. Don't even bother coming here, I would give 0 stars if I could.

I am not a patient nor have I gone to the walk in clinic but I have assisted a few people with appointments there. Now the complaint of a 1 hour minimum to nearly 3 hour wait is just becoming a norm now everywhere and honestly I've dealt with far worse wait times, so I won't be really making a fuss with that. My complaint are the doctors. Sitting in on several different visits, doctors will try to dismiss the patient as quick as they can despite whether they have questions or are seeking reassurance to soothe their anxiety. One recent doctor has messed up a patients medication which may have now caused some serious issues. This is really appalling to see and I suggest to not go here if you can. For family doctors, please I highly suggest to find a doctor who actually has compassion when you talk to them and listens to all you say. I know its a tough thing to do with how many awful doctors there are, but the good ones are out there and you'll thank me for it!

went in without an appointment ... the receptionist was very pleasant asked what i needed and said it wouldn't be a problem. She handled all the paperwork as asked me to have a seat. A short while later i was called into a room where a doctor took a look and almost immediately took care of things. Great job by everyone , especially since they were very busy.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. Not worthy of even 1 star. A comet would be better rating. Tired calling so many times and i getting 2-3 call back in all my calls.. The Six Points Receptionist (on phone), WORST. This person should not work in this field. Doesn't know customer care. I would prefer their previous receptionist in their previous location. She should teach these receptionist (on phone) in Six point location how to do well in their job. WORST!

I was extremely impressed with our experience at this clinic today. The receptionist was very friendly and accommodating. My 94-year-old aunt was seen right away and was treated with courtesy. Dr. Babatope was excellent in diagnosis and Nurse Dominika(?) very caring and professional. A truly positive experience and highly recommended.

The reason I am not giving 1 star is because my initial visit was great. However, this office is impossible to reach unless you go in person. I went here last week hoping to get an x ray. They told me to call back Monday morning for my results. I have been calling all day and cannot get a hold of anyone. I called at 9am, at 10am, at 11:30, and now at 1pm. There is no email address I can find to email and I have left 3 voicemails. I have never had such a difficult time accessing a medical centre. If I had any way of accessing my results through another medical centre I would. I shouldn’t have to drive back in person to this centre just to hear my results or learn what to do going forward. It is especially frustrating that I was specifically told to call this morning but judging by other reviews I am not the only one. Not sure why they would ask you to call if they know they are lacking staffing or procedures that allow them to answer phone calls.

I booked appointment over the phone. Follow up/reminder/confirmation was automated. Very well done. Very prompt. Was easily able to add the appointment to my calendar. Arrived at appointment a few minutes early. The Dr office happily saw me 15 minutes earlier than actual booking. Dr Fayez is very thorough. Asks questions, patient with back story/responses. Made me feel that he wanted to help and explained options. Thank you, I really appreciate the service.

This place doesn’t even deserve 1 star. I am a patient at the family practice and had to book an appointment for a medical concern. I tried calling this office at least a dozen times over the past 3 weeks, and the phone was simply never answered and I was fed the same automated message with their hours of operation repeatedly. Booking an appointment on their online system was also impossible despite multiple attempts. Eventually I had no choice but to book an appointment at a walk-in clinic. My doctor, Dr. Babatope, seemed nice enough during the two times I met him. However, the appointments were very brief and lasted under 5 minutes. Despite the fact that I booked my appointment well in advance and showed up on time, I still had to wait almost an hour to be seen by the doctor. The waiting area is shared by both the family practice and walk-in clinic, so it is extremely crowded and uncomfortable. Although it’s a fairly large waiting area, there were 0 seats available so I had to stand for 40+ minutes while waiting to be seen. I will be looking for a new family doctor, as it has been extremely difficult trying to book an appointment at this office. I had high hopes for this clinic, but I should have trusted the reviews and stayed very far away.

Reluctant to do this but extremely frustrated after multiple visits ended with no service provided and ++ wasted time. Called office and visited in person to confirm allergy shots could be administered during walk in hrs, was told yes both times. Spent $450 on immunotherapy treatment, arrived at clinic with serum in hand - told "no, we don't do allergy shots". I advised we had been told twice that they will give shots - now told the nurse isn't available and doctor on site will not administer. I followed the instructions I was given, only to be told the doctor has decided he won't provide the service. Why was I not told only certain clinicians would give the medication - and they can decide at random if they feel like it or not?? This should be consistent - either your staff provide the service or they dont - not sometimes we do, sometimes we don't. Patients need to plan for care and services too, the doctor is not the only person whose time is valuable. I am now scrambling to find somewhere else to administer the medication within 24 hrs.

My family doctor is Patricia Wong and she is the most caring doctor I have had. I've been there 7 years and really like that she will listed to all my concerns. Every drop in clinic has long wait times. But as a patient my doctor usually sees in within 5 minutes of my appointment time. Some walk-in patients might be confused because the people with a family doctor are not waiting in the same line. Also when I have an appointment to get tests done here I am just in line with a nurse and am not in the walk in queue. Notice that I can have the tests the doctor wants done here and not wait in walk-in queue. Try to sign up with family doctor here and stop being a walk-in patient.

Trust me and don't waste your time here, they are so rude, and unprofessional front desk. I waited for 2 hrs to see the doctor after I went in the nurse told me that so sorry we need a COVID test. The nurse was so nice and apologized to me, but the doctor refuse to see me either. I told them I got the infection from my daughter she had the same thing, but with zero humanity. Just stay away from this clinic

How is this legal? Don't doctor's have a code of conduct they are expected to follow? I went in for a medical form to be filled and the doctor refused, simply refused. How can a doctor at a walk-in clinic refused to do his job? I'm still in shock that this is allowed to happen. This place needs an inspection and it needs to be reported.

I was there for walk-in. When I was reading other reviews about wait time being 3 hours, thought it was exaggerated. I literally waited for 3 hours and 30 mins. There were many patients who already had an appointment with family doctor in the clinic. This is NOT a Walk-in clinic. Receptionist was kind.

Have been coming to walk in clinic for years. Never encountered problems with any of the doctors to deal with immediate health issues. One biggest advantage of the current adjustment is the availability of phone appointments. I wanted to get a new prescription and the doctor called me back within 15 minutes of initial calling. I understand others' frustration in getting a hold of receptionist. But the volume of calls is high at this time, after keep on trying 3rd time is usually the charm then someone eventually put me on hold. Then once they picked up they allocated entire attention to my call so I am happy. Great to have walk-in's throughout this time and provides timely attention to your patients.

First time visit and I had a good experience. As many people mentioned, this walk-in clinic is super busy so you have to wait for 3+ hours. I finished registration around 1:30 and a receptionist told me I can come back later since the waiting time is long, so I was back there around 4:00. After I was back, I was waiting for less than 10 minutes to see the Dr. and nurse. They are both so nice and Dr. listened me a lot and immediately sent MRI request to the hospital. Also suggested/prescribed me a new medication. Thank you so much!

It's a terrible experience to wait for more than 5 hours in this clinic. The admin put the other later walk-in patients in front of me even though I arrived there @10 in the morning and got service closed to 4pm. Terrible service with the receiption. They mixed up other patients's file and didn't correct it. I found out when I got the other referral treatment and called back. But nobody picked up the phone for 40mins. Then, when I returned to the clinic, there were 3 workers sitting in the reception area. But no one answered the phone. The doctors are professional and recommended especially Dr. Wong. That's the only reason to go here.

I only been here a couple of times and this is my second. The receptionists were professional and friendly. The assistant was pleasant and asked for further details on my reason for visit. . Dr Mack was professional and took care of my need. There was a lineup but the receptionists got everyone checked in quickly I was impressed at the kindnesss and professionalism.

Went for the walk in clinic with severe, debilitating intermittent chest pains. Doctor didn’t even give me more than a minute to explain my symptoms, listened to my breathing then told me I was fine. Then asked me “well what do you expect me to do, you’re not having pain right now so you’re all better” I don’t know??? You’re the doctor??? Didn’t give any recommendations for what to do in the moment while I have the pain, what kind of medication I could take for it, or what to do if it continues besides “come back”. Didn’t ask my health history (I’ve had issues with my heart before), didn’t ask about my family history (heart disease runs in my family), what medications I’m taking, he didn’t ask me anything besides “what do you want”. As soon as I walked in and said “I’m not having the pain right now” he said “well great I’ve cured you”, and I immediately knew he was not going to try to help me. Whole thing lasted about 3 minutes, and I left with the advice of “get a massage”. I can’t remember the doctors name, white man in his 50s? If you don’t have a family doctor, don’t go here if you want to be listened to and helped.

I came and I immediately felt good energy just from looking around since it was very clean and tidy, and I was also greeted warmly by the staff. I went to th...

😠 I have used this clinic before and liked the service. However, now, when one try to reach the receptionist or someone - it is impossible, for you can't even leave a message because mail boxes are full - very unprofessional for an health organization supported by our OHIP funds. Now, I decided to boo...

🫤 I have been a patient at this clinic for years. I absolutely love my doctor and that’s the only reason why I don’t move elsewhere. This clinic functions SO poorly. It’s so difficult to get someone on the phone to book a walk-in or family doctor appointment. Sometimes I have waited on hold for 45 min...

👍👍 First time at this clinic and I’ve had an amazing experience. Quick, fast and friendly. The receptionist got me registered right away as I walked in they greeted me. I saw the nurse in under 10 minutes. The doctor I saw was friendly and understanding. Thank you for your great service!
