I looked at the reviews before arriving and I have to admit I was very sceptical. However, I was very positively surprised by this place. Sure it’s an old place and sure there are stains on the carpet. However the rooms are very clean (even with the stains). The cleaning people clean the rooms everyday, they bring new towels and soup and the bathroom is always spotless. Everyone that works here is super nice and there is always someone at the reception. In the night the person working at the reception (Armend/Armand sorry for the misspelling) is always very welcoming and polite and he really makes you feel like you are returning to a safe place. I stayed here for 8 nights and I was travelling alone. I couldn’t recommend it more. If you are looking for a luxury hotel this might not do it for you, but if you are looking for a clean, affordable place in the center with very polite employees this place is perfect.

Though I don't expect 1 and 2 star hotels to be the pinnacle of luxury, I do expect them to offer the basics, be clean and safe. Ours Blanc didn't unfortunately provide any of these. Filthy and sticky carpets, smelly towels and a curtain-less shower were some of the things we had to deal with. On top of that, the emergency exit was actually a locked door to another room of the hotel, which meant we had to endure the noise of our neighbours late at night, which were separated from us by less than a wall. The one saving grace: amazing location, within a few min walking distance from the key areas in Toulouse.

Good location, however the interior is quite dated and has stains everywhere, smelly and noise throughout.

I'm not one to expect more than I've paid for, and have enjoyed making my way around France and the world staying in very basic and adventurous accommodation. Location is great, but I wasn't a huge fan of the sticky carpet, the lack of any window/exhaust, the absence of a shower curtain from the shower-over-bath or the paper thin walls. It was comfortable enough, but a step below most places and some people with higher expectations may not be ok with it.

If you like carpet wet it should be fine. Else maybe the lack of curtains in the tub should be a problem. However they do provide a load of towels and you get to re-enact a wild west scene with the bathroom door.

Very nice and clean place. It's close to City center, so easy to move in the city. Advisable place!

Very central location. Close to the train station, metro and city center. Lots of things to do around. We left our luggage after checkout and they were super nice. Breakfast is 7 EUR per person.

The location of the hotel in the middle of Toulouse is very convenient to explore the city. With 2 stars i do not expect too much, but the rooms should be clean and they were not! The carpet was not clean, the join tiles in the bathroom were partially molded and most disgusting was the very dirty upper window of the door to the outside plus several big old spider webs in the corners behind the curtain. The hotel is old and apparently did not experience a lot of renovation. One of the mornings, the water of the shower just remained to be cold - even after running the water for several minutes. The room I had was with a door to a very rusty balcony at the back, providing really not much light. in this backyard, you find the garbage bins. Personnel throwing stuff into them woke me up 5:30 in the morning. On top, the doors of the room have a kind of retracting system that automatically closes them. Every time a person enters a room or leaves it, the door slams with a very loud noise - could be late in the night or early morning. Since there is no insulation around the doors and the rooms per se are really clairaudient, this can wake you up every time. Th personnel of the hotel is really friendly, they do a good job. That's why I give 2 stars, otherwise it would only be one.

We had booked a night at this hotel but had to cancel in the morning due to all flights at Gatwick having been cancelled due to Drone activity. They refused to offer even a partial refund, or a postponement.

Nice, clean room to have a rest and continue the trip, we stayed next to the breakfast, it was completely fine and calm, staff is friendly too. Thank you

Well placed hotel in the center of Toulouse. But it's an old building with old furnitures and the rooms wasn't really clean.

Excellent value for money, perfect location, staff helpful, everything worked in the room and the linen was clean. Would recommend!
