Nice park in Toulouse. I loved the area we went to on Saturday where they had stalls and games for kids. I went back again on Monday and explored the area by the water.

An absolutely wonderful garden full of sculptures which reminded me of the jardin des plantes in Paris and Regent’s Park. Saw cockerels and moro sphinx butterflies!!!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Parc Jardin des Plantes in Toulouse, and it was nothing short of enchanting. This hidden gem in the heart of the city is a haven for nature enthusiasts and anyone seeking a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. From the moment I stepped foot inside, I was greeted by a lush oasis of greenery. The meticulously maintained gardens are a testament to the dedication and passion of the park's caretakers. Each section of the park offers a different botanical experience, from vibrant flower displays to tranquil ponds with graceful swans. One of the highlights for me was the impressive collection of plant species from around the world. Walking through the various themed gardens, I felt like I had embarked on a global botanical journey. The diversity of flora on display is awe-inspiring and provides a valuable educational experience for visitors of all ages. The park's layout is designed with relaxation in mind. Numerous benches and shaded areas invite you to sit, unwind, and soak in the natural beauty. It's an ideal spot for a picnic, reading a book, or simply enjoying a leisurely stroll. Parc Jardin des Plantes also offers a delightful escape for families. Children will love exploring the winding pathways, discovering hidden corners, and observing the various wildlife that calls the park home. Whether you're a nature enthusiast, a photographer, or just looking for a tranquil escape, Parc Jardin des Plantes is a must-visit in Toulouse. It's a place where you can reconnect with nature and find a moment of serenity amidst the city's excitement. I can't recommend this botanical paradise enough – it's a true gem in Toulouse.

What a magical garden😍 Beautiful sculptures, cute animals around (chicken, geese, unique ducks, rats) wonderful waterfall coming out of a rock in between the trees. Cute coffee place at the entry, which was open despite the museum being shut. The mixture of the autumn colour definitely made the experience even better. Make sure to exit through the bridge above the roundabout - I personally thought it was a cool experience to walk above a busy road full of cars on top of this cute bridge with plants with beautiful flowers on the each side of it 🙌🏼

Such a pretty garden. Fountains, children's playground, duck pond, flower beds, and even a waterfall. It's got good amenities too, toilets, dog poo bag dispensers and a little restaurant.

Large, welcoming, wonderful space, excellently well maintained, has a lot of plant diversity. The lake is a bridge of freshness and observation of various birds, from ducks to geese etc, I recommend a detailed view of this garden. It is one of the strengths of the city of Toulouse. As it is next door to the Natural History Museum of Toulouse, it can be used as a place to rest after a visit to the museum.

Pretty gardens right in the heart of Toulouse by the tramline and next to the museums. The garden is free and there are some wonderful structures, sculptures and water features. A little café and place to buy an ice cream or plenty of room for a shady picnic.

I had a too good to go for breakfast in the am and went to the Jardin des Plantes to eat it. It was very relaxing and also pretty, there’s a lot of flowers and you can also go to walk a little bit rounded of green everywhere.

There's a lot of interesting trees and plants to look at and learn about - along with all of the different animals we come across there. There are lots of interesting little spaces to check out and plenty of room in different areas to have a picnic or do an activity with friends and family. I love living so close to so many parks in Toulouse because I never have to think of something to do with the kids.

Compared to similar parks this is a little crowded, and I'm not a fan of the straight, paved paths, but it's also very diverse, has some great corners and lots of birdlife. The museum is nice and worth a visit, especially if you have kids. Best part is the way the park is connected to the two neighboring parks, it's clever and fun.
