The menu is good value for money overall and the service was very nice. For me the dishes were hit or miss, either too soft and uniform flavored or too strong tasting. I particularly disliked the veal as it had a strong petrol taste. The wine paring is also way too expensive and hit or miss. You can make a whisky pairing from the menu for less money.

A wonderful dining experience at LFB. 6 course taster menu was exceptional with lovely wine pairing. Friendly and attentive staff with a relaxed atmosphere. I would highly recommend the wine pairing as very good value for money and the sommelier was knowledgeable and informative. €125 for 6 courses and wine pairing.

My husband and I went here on our honeymoon. It was truly an amazing dinner experience. The staff were so wonderful, the food was so delicious and flavorful and we had a great time. This is a MUST stop for dinner if you are in Bordeaux. Highly recommended!

My wife and I have travelled to many places and have eaten at numerous Michelin star restaurants and this was better than many 2 star restaurants we have been to. The dishes were creative, perfectly executed and let the ingredients speak for itself. There wasn’t too much seasoning or richness…it was pure. Honestly one of our favourite restaurants of all time. We will be back!

Just finished lunch here and had the most lovely amazing experience! The food was outstanding, very unique combination of ingredients that paired together perfectly. Such a good value for the price. We were absolutely blown away by the impeccable service, I regret not catching the waitress’s name, but she was so lovely and accommodating, truly one of the best service experiences we had. Our baby started crying during our meal due to the heat wave and she rushed out with some ice cold Evian water spray for her, when we asked where we could buy some, she kindly offered us to keep it! Thank you for such a lovely experience! I would suggest everyone to visit this great establishment.

Absolutely fabulous dining experience. The dishes were a true work of art with exciting explosions of flavor in every course. The wine pairing was perfect. Service was impeccable. The meal is fine dining but in a cozy non pretentious atmosphere. This restaurant beats a recent meal at a 3 star Michelin establishment in the states. Bravo to the chef and team of La Fine Bouche!

I cannot speak more highly of Matthieu and his team at La Fine Bouche. They were so knowledgeable, welcoming and made us feel like royalty! The experience was incredible from start to finish. We did the 6 course menu with matching wines and it was quite simply, the best meal I have ever had and the highlight of our whole trip to Bordeaux. If you are looking for an intimate location for a romantic meal then this is the place. Keeping my fingers crossed that our paths cross again. A real treat and an evening I will never forget. Another first-rate visit to this restaurant which has become our favourite in Bordeaux. The front of house team are excellent, with a great easy-going attitude coupled with real knowledge of both the dishes and the wines. We went for the wine pairing, which was better for the two of us as it gave us a chance to taste four wines in addition to the aperitif. Stand out dishes - the langoustine with sweetcorn, the tomato and the pigeon.

We had the 4 courses with matching wines. Ambiance, service, food, wine - all amazing! Had very high expectations going in with so many 5-star reviews, but La Fine Bouche did not disappoint. Inventive and meticulous preparations kept us eager for each new arrival at the table. The wine-matching was out-of-this-world. We have spent the last 3 weeks in the city of Bordeaux, and this restaurant is the standout.

Overall a good restaurant. The host accommodated us at 1:30pm for a late lunch which was much appreciated. The steak tartare and fish tempura starters are both amazingly good which contrasted a bit with the main. We got the thon (tuna) for main, which I think is in season. A big part of the fish is bloody and when cooked becomes dark and fishy. I was very thrown off by the fish and left it on the plate, the staff who took the plate didn’t really say anything about it. As a recovery, the desserts are quite nice.

A Little Gem I had dinner here in late May 2022 and was treated to an incredible experience. I found the restaurant through filtering for outdoor seating, highly rated French cuisine around St. Michel district. La Fine Bouche had among the highest ratings I could find and I can see why. Food is what I would describe as modern French cooking using fresh local ingredients and not afraid of using Asian elements and other influences. The four course dinner ended up being seven part dinner. After each dish I eagerly anticipated the next. The food was served in warm or cooled dishes. The smells from each dish was divine. The textures played on the mouth very harmoniously. The accompanying wine pairings well chosen to give a slight contrast to each course. The staff at La Fine Bouche was great. Everyone loved their roles and showed passion towards the food. Beautiful clean interior although I spent the whole time outside on a beautiful spring evening. Passing people would take photos of the building outside the door of the restaurant. Google says closed at 9 pm but that was clearly not the case as the Bordelais eat dinner late. Recommend highly except for those looking for American portions or a rigid interpretation of French cuisine.
