Really happy to find this little veggie cafe in Tours. The owners are very friendly and speak English well, which was a great help! They are also very knowledgeable about allergens and cross-contamination which I have found to be pretty unusual in France, so as a coeliac this was great to find and I had a lovely gluten free meal here.

I received very friendly service, but unfortunately I seem to have made the wrong choice with my order... I got the vegetarian burger which comes with fries, and it was not impressive—too much mustard that made it difficult to eat, and bland bread buns used. The veggie patty was okay. I wish there were more different flavours and textures in the burger. The fries on my plate came with much oil still glistening on them. Perhaps the other dishes are better.

Vegan and gluten free, but definitely not healthy, despite them advertising the health benefits of tahini. 90% of the food is fried, and the salad dressing - telling from the taste - seems to contain a lot of sugar. Fries are soggy instead of crisp. The hummus and the carrot sauce are really nice though, and so are the falafel balls. Friendly staff.

How is Tahina not jam packed every night? Their food is delicious, their owners are lovely. We were looking for a restaurant with vegan options. This is nearly impossible in France! Tahini, not only had delicious vegan food, but plenty of options to satisfy both me and my non-vegan husband. We were started with a house special Vouvray drink with peach syrup. My husband had the impossible burger with good crispy fries. We shared the onion rings which came with a dipping sauce (it's not everyday vegans get onion rings!). I ordered the Evolution Bowl which had a little bit of everything: hummus, tabouli, babaganoush, falafel, chick'n nuggets, delicious roasted cauliflower and mushrooms with a balsamic drizzle, and another fresh salad. Everything was amazing! Our host suggested the chocolate mousse to the table next to us and after seeing it, we ordered the same. It was not overly sweet, rather chocolatey and satisfying. Here is my half eaten Evolution Bowl. It was so good I dug right in! If in Tours, do not miss stopping by Tahina!

Food was ok. I had read the other reviews before going and had higher expectations. We felt it was expensive for what we ate. Nice staff.

Delicious veggie food with plenty of choice. Fairly intimate ambiance and well chosen decor.

I enjoyed the food so much I ordered a second platter (though neither was small). Everything is vegan, which can be tough to find in this part of France, and if you like falafel and hummus, theirs is very good. I also had a mushroom and cauliflower dish that was amazing, and a carrot based "hummus" (really puree) that I really enjoyed too, and hadn't had before. The staff was warm and welcoming and let me sit for awhile as it rained outside.

Absolutely fantastic meal, four of us (one vegan, the others not) ate different dishes from the menu and really enjoyed the food. Highly recommended for all.

We went here with our kids after a long day travelling. The waitress (maybe she was the owner too?) was super friendly and suggested the kids menu, this was brought out super fast so the kids were able to eat straight away, which is always very helpful. My boyfriend has a few allergies and this posed no problem too. Thank you for the yummy food and attentive service!

A lovely restaurant for us that don't wish to eat meat ! Service was prompt, staff very polite and friendly and sat outside in the lovely summer evening. 100% recommend
