This place needs negative stars. Went through the drive through and when I opened my burrito to put salsa on it, there was mold on the tortilla. We went back into the restaurant within 10 minutes of our purchase and showed them and requested a refund because we didn't feel safe eating any of the food. Kevin, who didn't give us a receipt when he handed us our food, also refused to give us a full refund without a receipt. He smirked at my husband as he refused to find our receipt and refused to give us the corporate number. We called the next day and spoke to the manager on duty, Ryan, who told us to come to the store for a refund. We went back to the store and he told us that actually he couldn't issue the refund but the store manager could do it the next day. The next day we went back to the store for a refund and were told by that manager, Brandon, that he had spoken to the regional (or district) manager Susie and she instructed him that he was NOT to issue us a refund. She was satisfied that we had the single taco refunded. Our call to Susie has gone unanswered. They seriously expected us to be comfortable eating the rest of the food when they had such poor quality control. I'm allergic to mold. Did they expect us to open up and inspect every single item of food? Did they expect us to trust that somehow the rest of the tortillas didn't have mold? This place is a health hazard and I've never seen such awful customer service. Lost customers over 25 dollars of inedible, moldy food.

I read some reviews before my visit and I told myself give it a chance there are only several bad reviews. They were right! I'm from El Paso a bordertown and home of the best Mexican restaurants, Food trucks, or just plain taco stands. Yes I am spoiled and I tell myself every time when vacationing in NM stay away from the self proclaiming Mexican style restaurants. Although the Del Tacos in California are not like this one they are pretty close to the real thing. I posted pics of my nuked "beef stew meat tacos",not the carne asada tacos I thought I was going to get. They put them in 2 white corn tortillas probably heated up in a microwave as they fell apart. Good cheese on the nachos, they have spicy pickled jalapenos but again maybe stick with the chicken they have NO carne asada here.

The service was great and the staff was short handed but very friendly and efficient. They made our order quick and delicious serving 9 of us..

Not exactly the "fast" food spot we were looking for while traveling. Took about 30 min. to get to the window and when we got to the window we were told we needed to come inside to wait since the meat needed more time cooking. There was also a clear communication breakdown between the staff. This branch can benefit from a communications and time management course. However, the staff did offer something to compensate for the wait and the food itself was pretty good.

Yuck. Be warned. STAY AWAY . The fish tacos were tiny/shriveled and not fresh. Both tacos missing the limes. The chicken burritos were in general half empty and had barely any chicken in them and were missing the tomatoes in both. Definitely not worth almost $5 each. Another type of chicken taco we got had enough cheese piled on it for 4 tacos. I called the store and asked what could be done as we had gone through the drive thru, not from here and already on the road. The manager said he couldn’t do anything about it and then laughed when I asked if he was serious. If I was a local I wouldn’t come back. Now I see why it was deserted.

It has been quite a while since I've been to Del Taco following and unpleasant experience with a previous employee. We decided to try it again and was pleased with the friendly staff. Thank you

We are traveling from Colorado back to Arizona and we stopped at the Del taco. We are pleasantly surprised by the staff that was very friendly and the manager was also friendly they helped us out ordering everything correctly and our food was excellent. I would highly recommend the Dell taco if you're going through truth or consequences.

I've been in town fairly often lately for work. Every time I've been here, the food has been hot and fresh, and the employees are super friendly.

I'm traveling, and happened to be in the area. I'd heard that they have good fish tacos, so I wanted to check them out. The tacos were so good that I ordered two orders of it. The store manager on shift was more than accommodating and very friendly. He was extremely efficient, and I would go back anytime. I was made comfortable by his demeanor and great customer service. All I remember is that his name began with a J. Good prices and good service.

The staff was very friendly. The guy who took our order (I didn't get his name but he had a 3 leaf clover on his wrist) was amazing. He went above and beyond to meet the needs of all the customers. I generally stop by this Del Taco on my trips back and forth to Truth or Consequences. The staff is great and timely. The General Manager Brandon was a great guy to talk to and get to know! Highly recommend.

Today we ordered delivery off the app, I genuinely thought we just had a new place offering delivery. Turns out no, they don’t have delivery, and instead of canceling my order when they couldn’t call me (old number but I updated it) the General Manager of our store drove out… and proceeded to complain aggressively to my tiny disabled mother about this and then huff about how he brought the food anyway but they don’t do delivery. Next time, try canceling. It’s not my fault that the store is listed as having delivery when it doesn’t.

NEW EPIC HONEY CHIPOTLE BBQ BRISKET & BACON BURRITO Positively terrible! The fries were mushy, the one that looked the most cooked was the opposite. Brisket was dry. Couldn't find the bacon and low and behold more of those mushy fries inside. In my experience burritos are tubular so one can eat then with one hand: This was a lump for knife and fork. And, the difference between a good burrito and a cheap burrito is how much potato instead meat inside. This meal wasn't cheap but it was mostly potato anyway. Each time I've eaten at this place I've been unhappy with the food. Then I forget, receive another coupon flyer and try again and the same thing happens. This time I feel I've learn my lesson.

Food is the basic mass produced stuffed in a tortilla or shell that we look for when we want fast americanized mexican food. But the service is almost non existent you will sit in the drive thru for what seems like 10 15 minutes before being acknowledged I'd recommend going inside but you'll than just get stared at for about 5-10 minutes before getting approached to have your order taken seems like no one wants to work here, and that all cones down to management Now this place is marked for delivery with doordash but do not be fooled they do not work with the delivery service and with our local facebook pages there have been a few reviews on that where the management teams has delivered food and yelled and berated customers for ordering delivery Food recommended if you don't mind waiting dine In restaurant times in the drive through Management gets a zero They do keep a clean store as not to many people go there anymore
