Natural ambience with beautiful surroundings. The location of the hotel is perfect for the one who wants to stay away from the crowded city. The architecture, design, and location makes you feel like you're in a jungle paradise. Perfect place to spend some valuable time alone with your partner. Staff was very friendly and provide supreme service. Nice food. Big room as well as bathroom. There was 2 swimming pools as well. You can rent many things from hotel (Like bike, charger converter, umbrellas etc). As it was so close to the monkey forest you can watch monkey roaming all over the restaurant during daytime, quite fun. You can find almost everything near the walking distance. Worth every single penny I spent on this hotel. Really loved our stay here. Highly recommended. Visited in March '20, Before Lockdown.

One of my travel companions is attacked and bitten by a monkey. She needed to go to the hospital to get treated. Apparently this happens more, there is permanent staff with sticks trying to scare off the monkeys from the property. The rooms are great but this incident takes away the fun

A well maintained, clean, and modern place kept in traditional style. The rooms are large, very comfortable beds and equipped with all the necessary amenities. A great breakfast buffet with a lot of choices and fresh food. There are two swimming pools, one with a little warmer water. It's just beside the monkey forest, around 5 p.m. you might have visitors on your balcony. Keep your stuff inside! As the monkeys tend to steal everything that is lightweight and colorful. There are plenty of restaurants in the vicinity. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Very good value for money.

Very friendly and homely staff , in restaurant and at reception. Affordable , easy location. Me and my wife stayed here, 31st December till 06 January. Family friendly. Spacious rooms, spacious restaurant. Off course due to rain , could not enjoy the dual swimming pools. Breakfast was healthy, sufficient. Would stay again here. Need little make up of facilities, but tolerable as after a long lockdown and slow business . But still worth living and love this place. Keep it up. Ashok Kumar, Panchkula. India.

*Monkeys everywhere* There's no point in talking about the rooms, the breakfast etc... everything is fine, it's a pretty good value. The truth is you'll be in close contact with a lot of monkeys. That is either terrifying or amazing depending on the person, and you should make your choice based on that. Those are wild monkeys, and if you give them the chance, they will steal from you. While I was there the monkeys bit a man, they stole from some people at the breakfast table and they ganged up on my wife to try and steal her purse. I'm very comfortable with animals and I would go back, just not with kids or somebody who's scared of animals.

Nice hotel. When I visited it, the staff said that they were not going to work for 2 years of the pandemic and just back to work for few days. I was placed in a room but the AC is broken and the phone also not working, so I used my mobile phone to contact the receptionist. I waited for around 15 minutes for the staff to check my room and they decided to change my room with another one. The replacement room had 2 twin bed size, while my previous room had a double size bed. Other then that, it had no issues. The bathroom is great and huge, its has shower and bath up. The food tasted great tho

I sat there 4 night with family. Except location rest all horrible. Monkey everywhere. They attacked us several times. Water sully disturbance. Look like old property without maintenance. Only swimming pool and location ok. Try to search same location hotel towards ubud palace side far from monkey forest. Specially Champlung Sari not recommended. If you really really on tight budged and closes eye then book this hotel.

Loved this hotel. Booked a pvt pool villa. Rooms are great and big. Got a nice big bathroom. Food in breakfast is good bt the main course you get no so many options. Located near monkey forest. Just 1.2km away from main ubud city centre.

Surprisingly very good hotel. Has got an amazing feel to it. Each room has got Balinese styled gate. Rooms are spacious. The general area is beautiful. Right opposite of monkey forest. In the middle of everywhere in ubud. One thing, monkeys roam around in the hotel and also outside your room. Which is another thrill for me actually. Breakfast decent.

I highly recommend it. I stayed there for 8 nights. I was disturbed by noisy and loud neighbours the second night ( 1 am). I've informed the manager and he offered me much better a room all around, with view on the fields, on the top floor at no extra charge. Really nice room with huge bath and separate glass shower, and quiet with sounds of nature day and night, and with the monkeys coming on my deck, the rising sun, the iguana swimming in the creek and the herons flying in the field, and birds singing.I could finally relax there as Ubud is crazy hell busy and noisy. Super friendly and helpful staff.

Stayed here one night unintentionally for family reasons and was too tired to drive back to canggu. The hotel itself was very nice and got an old bali feeling in it. Big pools, and the room i got was clean. The reception staff were friendly and attentive. However, we forgot 2 things inside the bedroom and one of it was our sunglasses. We put it on the makeup table on-top of the small fridge. However when we came back to collect it, the reception said they got no information about it from the housekeeing. Overall very much recommended to stay here if visiting ubud. Lots of monkey coming in to the hotel area. Which is awesome and amusing🤣

Nice place close to everything. Quiet and clean. Large bathroom. The mattress is a bit too soft for me. No need to go to the monkey forest. They will come to you so don't leave anything outside your room, it will be gone in a minute.

We were stay at deluxe room, next to the small jungle and so many monkeys jumping into our balcony, dont put or left anything in the balcony other ways the monkeys will steal it. Room was okay and all works good, i think aircon need to service because is not really cool when we put it on 18* temperature. Bathroom is okay. And it typcal old hotel because some of ceiling part are broken. Staff in restaurant are nice, pool staff also nice, receptionist also nice (especialy the women) work with smile its giving different vibes to the customers. Breakfast was good n tasty❤️

We stopped by here to do some spa. The price is reasonable. It has spacious parking space. Better book in advance. Me and my friends want to do massage together but they say we have to take turn so only my friend did it as we dont have long time. Hopefully next time two people can do massage in one time.

Our room was spacious and a good size but the bathroom was in need of an upgrade. The shower recess had a broken seal around the edges of the glass so everytime we showed the bathroom floor would get flooded and very slippery 😬. The breakfast was buffet and tasty. The pool was ok but we didn't use it. There was a second pool which looked very green and was roped off. The location of the hotel was great, close to the Monkey Forest and shopping. We had quite a few visiting monkeys within the resort which thrilled us. Unfortunately the hotel was experiencing some major renovations which we were not aware of when booking our room. There was work being done at various points around the hotel so our stay wasn't as tranquil as we would have liked.

They were nice and treated us with respect 🙏🏾 rooms were aight some lights didn't work others weren't even connected weird, but we had to switch due to the bathtub leaking, and because of the sound, we couldn't sleep so we switched for free location is nice tho.

Brilliant location very central to everything. Staff were lovely but the hotel just wasn’t great. The bathroom was very dated, dirty and the shower was rubbish. WiFi didn’t reach our room, the description of the hotel states that this is an issue throughout Ubud but this isn’t true. There is a lot of work being done to the hotel which meant when we were there, we could only use one out of two of the pools. There wasn’t enough space / weren’t enough sunbeds around this pool so often we couldn’t sit around the pool. Worst of all, our door was broken so loooaads of bugs came in. Also it’s important to note that there are lots of monkeys, we enjoyed this but they do take your things so you need to be aware near the pool.

One of nice accomodation nearby Monkey Forest. Have many restaurant options nearby, and have clean room. With amazing view around and nice pools. There's big parking lot for your car or bike. Staffs are friendly and ready to help you since you arriving in this hotel. But for toiletries, maybe you have to use your own. Their shampoo & conditioner just have bad smells for use.

Stay here for a week. The special things for this hotel is you can see monkeys around. They always come in group. They always come in the morning. Sometimes they gone in afternoon or evening. Sometimes they just hangout here. At night they always gone. It's quite unique experience. I stay in the south section of this hotel. The other is good or so so with other hotel. The restaurant is closed and not many people here. So for solo traveler you may feel lonely here. The room is big and they have bathub. They renting scooter too

Amazing hotel right next to the monkey forest and walking distance to multiple coffees and restaurants. Staff are so nice. Two very decent pools and a really good breakfast buffet. Room are huge (at least ours)... The bathroom is perhaps one of the most beautiful I've ever seen in a hotel. It will definitely be our first option the next time in Ubud. Just keep on mind that you will see some monkeys around because is literally, just across the street from the monkey forest.

Loved it for the awesome location, with the monkey forest next door and endless entertainment of monkeys running around. As per the other reviews, the rooms are well worn but so long as you go there knowing that, then it will not disappoint. The pool and garden setting are stunning and the staff are really friendly. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a unique experience in Ubud.

Was here 15 yrs ago approx. Quality really has slipped. First world stuff but rooms poor, nice staff, pools good but monkeys really infiltrated the hotel. Can't leave or enter room with out monkeys at you, tv doesn't work but we are not in Bali to watch telly. Well positioned at bottom.of hill. Bathrooms and rooms easily accessible by mozzies. Old hotel surrounded by businesses that have gone broke. Comfortable only.

Located right outside of the Monkey Forest, this is not the place for you if you don’t ljke monkey - they will be with you 😁. Overall an average hotel, spacious and well located but not sure worth the 4.1* for the quality.

This hotel is in a great central location. We booked online, arrived to find photos online are not current or fully representative, a lot of works were underway and one of the two pools was inaccessible and filthy dirty. The staff were friendly however and endeavoured to upgrade us and make our stay improved, but we kindly declined and had to go through an arduous refund process.

Private pool vila's rooms are excellent with bath tub and specious but you can not use outdoor pool properly because monkeys are everywhere and they might come to you it's outdoor location is not that good and at night it looks scary at back side because of lack of lights all over it's budget friendly if you want your private space and in budget it's best option

Fine & unique hotel with strategic location (near sacred monkey forest sanctuary). The service is good. The room is good and spacious, although a little bit old. There's a bath tub in every room. There's a parking area for motorcycle and car. Just beware of monkeys that can be aggressive and may steal your things (they stole a bottle of mineral water from my fathers' hand 😂).

Very nice hotel with spacious rooms and courteous staff. The rooms and bathrooms are very big and beautiful but be careful with your things as there are monkeys around and they can steal your stuff.

Stayed here for 4 nights, the service was good. We hope to get back, after the new Renovations, Going on here. Rooms do need to be upgraded. If your a regular it's still good place for for a couple or singles people.

Very nice hotel, good location. High/medium quality room. No hairdryer but not necessary considering the temperature. Monkeys everywhere!!!

Probably one of the best hotels I've stayed in. The staff was very kind, the rooms are in very good condition, there are two pools and "free" entrance to the monkey forest :) One just has to be careful of keeping the stuff inside of the room and nothing without supervision. Other than that, it's really entertaining to observe the monkeys . There are vegan/vegetarians options in the hotel's restaurant, which gives extra points from me!

The rooms were pretty dirty (they didn't sweep the floors and some remnants of the insect spray still remained), and the bathroom locks+flush weren't working. We changed rooms, but it was the same problem. Lots of wall geckos in the room (spotted 4), found a frog in the bathroom (no clue how this creature entered), and also occasional sightings of centipedes and other worm-like creatures. The rooms are spacious but I really wish they worked on the clean aspect. We kind of adjusted but I wish I didn't have to panic every minute I entered the room and loo! But the location is super ideal to everything in Ubud and the staff are very very kind. Any issue they helped out and were always there. I think the only cherry was the location and staff.

Very nice hotel with very attentive and nice employees. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Water pressure is great and you can also have a very hot shower what I enjoyed a lot. There was also no mold observable which we found a lot in other hotels before. Pool area is also nice and has a very tropical appearance. There are a lot of monkeys around and there are people scaring them away when they come to close. It is funny to observe them. For people who might react negatively to monkeys around, you should avoid this place
