I had stayed in another Adiwana resort, which was great, but I didn't expect I was fooled by Adiwana Svarga's room description they wrote on Agoda. The room is much smaller than the 39m2 area they mentioned in the room description for Deluxe rooms. You can see the width discrepancy between the picture they put on the Agoda site (Deluxe room) and the real Deluxe room they gave us. The biggest disappointment is there was no work table in our room. Below is the work table picture on their Agoda profile (under the Deluxe room section). I chose this exact hotel because I saw the picture they provided. Because of this incident, I needed to work in bed which made my back hurt, and I spent more money working at coffee shops. I even had no energy to tell them about the slowly drained bathroom sink and the poor internet connection because they didn't even solve the work table issue. Quoting from a lady in the front office, "Oh maybe the pic u saw on Agoda is from room number 2, but it's booked, so you are assigned to room number 1" If the room facility is different, why didn't they create a different room type for these tiny rooms?

The resort were more than I expected . Very unique, authentic, in a jungle , atmosphere is so peaceful, beautiful , great view !!! Rooms are fabulous with big balcony , comfy bed , cozy , all was working perfect ! Good hot shower , new aircorn , nice smell ! I made my birthday party there and the stuff was all day and evening with my guests , helping to serve , made bbq for us , taking care of us ! I definitely recommend the place for the events or just come and relax there in a beautiful jungle atmosphere) I want to say big thank you for the stuff for such a warm welcome , for great service and for being so nice and gentle with us ! And separately want to highlight their breakfast ! That was amazingly tasty , looking fabulous and unique ! I spent such an amazing time with you guys ! See you soon

I came for celebrating New Year Eve, but I feel disappointed for some services : I was came around 4:30PM, however the room is not ready yet(check in time supposed to be at 2PM), so I need to wait until around 5PM. While I was waiting for the room, the staff was escorting me to the lounge for complimentary afternoon tea (which is good), however again I need to wait for almost 1 hour while other guest which came after me was being served first (this is not make sense). After all, I was be able to come to the room around 5:30PM. Then in the night I was ordered for room service (oxtail soup), but it came without rice (which is on the menu should be rice included), so I need to wait again and my soup was getting cold. Around almost early morning (4 AM) I was getting fever, and I was asking for medicine but the staff said not available (at least a paracetamol must be ready), also the staff did not offer any other alternative (offer cold towel or clinic nearby?) Overall stay was good, the Ubud's jungle atmosphere was one of my favorite. I love the secluded location and friendly staff.

Nice staff, rooms and an enchanted location. Unfortunately were there a few things which decreased a good rating. The condition of the hotel is a bit outdated. There are spots building that look rotten (rather from the outside than from the inside). However there is also a huge building site that is sometimes very loud, but will always kill the probably used to be very nice views from the pool areas. The yoga sessions also did not satisfied us. Last but not least the restaurant serves a good breakfast but, that has been said, not the best we had in Bali. Therefore only three stars. Sorry, I would love to rate it higher, especially because of the interesting style.

Really disappointed. Beautiful grounds but sadly neglected, leading to dangerously rotten decks and walkways. Rooms were only ok, and although the breakfast and overall service was fine, we decided to move hotels. I suspect this was once fantastic but suffered so much during the pandemic lockdown that it's now very poor. Shame.

My stay at Adiwana Svarga Loka in Ubud was an unforgettable experience. 2 nights felt like a mere glimpse into the paradise this place embodies. The sheer beauty of the surroundings and the warm hospitality of the hotel's employees left an indelible mark. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the hotel's tranquil ambiance. Nestled amidst Ubud's natural splendor, the serene environment was a haven for relaxation and rejuvenation. One of the highlights was encountering the owner, who personified the genuine warmth and hospitality that resonates throughout the establishment. His presence added a personal touch to an already exceptional stay. Moreover, the proximity to Ubud Art Market was convenient, allowing easy exploration of the vibrant local culture and artistry. Two nights weren't enough to savor all the beauty and experiences this place has to offer. Can’t wait to return!

I’ve stayed at other Adiwana hotels in Bali but unfortunately this is the worst one. The whole place did not look well maintained. The AC was not cold enough for the size of the room and it was leaking. WiFi did not work and the staff “couldn’t reach the internet provider.” There was a cockroach in the room on the curtain above the bed, yuck! Even with the promo price, you can get better maintained places elsewhere.

Relaxing and beautiful!!! I really enjoyed my stay at Adiwana Svarga Loka. I did the Svarga Balinese Healing Experience (4 days, 3 nights) including airport transfers, 3 delicious meals every day, daily yoga/spa treatments, and healing rituals. You can move around your schedule to your liking and everyone was so friendly and helpful!! Dayu at the spa gave impeccable massages and was so so sweet. The food was my favorite. Retreat guests get a special menu (so be patient with the kitchen cause your food might take a little longer but SO WORTH IT) beautifully plated every time, and always delicious. Gustu was an amazing/friendly waiter and made sure every guest was taken care of. My retreat organizer, Puspa, was very good at keeping in touch with me (in person/via WhatsApp) and was always around if I needed ANYTHING!! The daily yoga classes were small and intimate with professional instructors. There was construction going on while I was there which was the only downside with the noise, but that’s not permanent!! Thank you for an wonderful, healing experience :)

The hotel advertise itself as a 4 star hotel with meditation, calmness, tranquility etc. We were looking forward to staty longer than 4 days, but we needed to know first if this hotel is real as on the pictures and description. It's not. The level of service, especially the management is zero. Our flight was late..almost 3 hours.. we informed the hotel in advance for them to contact the driver ( the hotel driver) , but they forgat, so the poor guy was so tired of waiting.. They welcomed us with "upgrade"..that's great, but we didn't know that in front of the rooms they will do a repair of the stairs ( 8:30... "meditation" starts with hammering right in front of the door for 3 days). What an upgrade!!! No information regarding the hotel construction/ refurbishment whatsoever. The breakfast was different quality every day, from the good to the bad one...no consistency. The room: The bed was comfy..the shower 's drainage was non existent, so after we took the shower, our toilet was in the water until next day ...great..😔 This is Ubud..with all the charmes and funny parts, which we love..but this time the handlings of this situation was the worst. The management didn't care, until we were living. After lots of sorrys ( now we have a bag of sorrys to give away), the sales manager offered us a free lift to the other hotel..this put the cherry on the top. Not only that it worth maybe 2 euros, but also they could have offered so much other things than a taxi to another hotel. Damage control zero. The hotel itself is runned down. Some part looks like after a war, next to the main swimming pool were in bundles of rotten wood parts, abandoned areas.. I'm in the hotel and restaurant management. This hotel has non of the management in place, the workers doing what they can without any control or system . They not seem happy at all, neither professional. I was very dissatisfied and disappointed, and they don't deserve the success.

We stayed from October 21 to 25 in this hotel, in 4 nights they did not change our towels or sheets on any day, the mosquito net was dirty and in poor condition. The restaurant is expensive, has little variety and the breakfast is really very fair. One night we saw bugs in the bed, we went to the reception to complain and what they did was send two people to clean and they passed a kind of broom over the sheets and did not change them. We are very disappointed with the service. To finish, I also want to say two more things. The first is that the water of happiness, when I opened it, had a bad smell, I don't want to imagine where the water comes from. and the second thing, our last day, we went to the restaurant at 3:10 p.m. to order food and we informed him that our taxi was coming at 4:00 p.m. to go to the airport. I ordered salmon and my husband ordered meat. At 3:41 p.m. they came to inform us that the meat would take 17 more minutes and that my salmon was ready. The salmon was brought to me at 3:45 p.m. For the price you pay, I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE

We stayed for 5 nights. We are impressed by the hotel. The staff and service were kind and responsive. The breakfast was tasty. The list included around a dozen options. The portion was not large but the taste was great. You won't need to eat big meals in such a hot and humid environment. The afternoon tea was tasty too. We didnt do any of the Yoga or spa sessions. We didnt participate in the events either. Yoga and spa treatments are additional costs, FYI. The hotel grounds were green and quiet. I started to suspect we were the only guests at the hotel. You won't hear any road traffic. You will hear the river far below the hotel. Some have stated that the place shows age, but please understand that you're in a hot, humid and wet environment. Wood stairs, for example, do not last long in such conditions. This hotel has managed nicely to blend in with nature. The figures, the walls, the paths, all are incorporated harmoniously with the flora. Please be aware, that due to the location, this place is not friendly to those with mobility issues. There are stairs to climb everywhere. Rooms: clean, quiet, and spacious. The bathroom we had was sufficient and the shower overlooked some greenery. We had a lizard visitor one evening; we called room service and they promptly came to help guide our friend out. Nothing more happened. Remember, you're in nature, so expect some wildlife on the paths, or patios, or, rarely, in your quarters. The bed was large, comfortable and clean. The mosquito nets were intact and we never had any issues with insects. The location: it's about a 15-18minute walk from Ubud palace/market. Downhill to the city and uphill returning (logically). Your far enough from the main streets that you wont hear any noise. You're close enough to walk. Should you be lazy or have mobility problems, your a 5 minute scooter ride to the town center. If we ever come back to Bali, we will be sure to stay here again. We hate to leave but life continues and we must return. Terima kasih dan sampai jumpa lagi!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Adiwana Svarga Loka in Bali, and I must say it was a truly delightful experience. The hotel's location struck the perfect balance between being close to the city center and allowing me to immerse myself in Bali's soul. The room was clean and comfortable, providing a peaceful retreat after a day of exploration. One of the highlights for me was the breakfast, which was included in the stay. The options were plentiful and the food was not only tasteful but also reflected the local flavors and cuisine. It was a fantastic way to start each day and fuel up for new adventures. The staff at Adiwana Svarga Loka were friendly, accommodating, and attentive, making sure that all my needs were met throughout my stay. Their warm hospitality added an extra touch of comfort and made me feel truly welcome. Overall, Adiwana Svarga Loka is a hotel that captures the essence of Bali while offering convenience and comfort. Whether you're seeking to explore the city or relax in a serene environment, this hotel provides the best of both worlds. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and enriching stay in Bali.

The most affordable 4 stars hotel in Ubud. Their service is really good, the room is so comfy, the food is delicious, the environment is really nice. They have 2 pools and the pools near to the river is really awesome even tho its kinda dirty a lil bit hehe. Super recommended to stay here ♥️

More than how I imagine before I came, this place is a hidden gem. So peaceful, loves the good vibes and energy around the place, its also relaxing with all the activity, I took the Svarga Purification Journey, it was perfect! I had a good time during my stay, not to mention the yoga session with Mbak Ayu was great, the food was so healthy (well, you will disagree with me if you are a big fan of junk food/MSG), and Mbak Puspa and all the team was awesome, so genuine with their hospitality. Oh I also met the owner, such a friendly couple, the one who lives in Pasar Minggu, and also the other owner, from Bogor? super humble. I will definitely come back!

    - Service exceptional 👏 we have 10inth daughter and they took care of her like her own. We ate breakfast in peace while they took care of her. - Rooms good 👍🏽 we initially had a room whose balcony was attached to the tree. Naturally it had some ants. Since we had a crawler with us, they upgraded out room with no difficulty and provided us a garden/pool front room which was amazing - Breakfast decent 👌 they have plenty of options to choose from and are great with substitutions. We had Rosella tea everyday for breakfast instead of coffee.

The rooms were dirty. I say rooms in plurial because they showed us other rooms after i said mine was dirty and they were all dirty. The floor the bed the thing above the bed that is supposed to be cute is full of moisture. They apologized many times and have been very nice to us anyways. They gave us a refund very quickly. Im sad we couldnt stay there because i was very excited to go there i was expecting a beautiful resort with yoga schedule but even this was disappoiting no schedule for yoga you need to book a day in advance and its expensive...

Had an absolutely incredible stay here. I brought my parents here as part of their 25th anniversary surprise and they had the most memorable time. Adiwana Svarga Loka translates to heaven on earth, and it lives up to its name. The location is absolutely stunning with amazing views, it really feels like you are one with nature and we all felt so much at peace. The food at the on site restaurant was very tasty and we enjoyed every meal. We also enjoyed a complimentary yoga class taught by a great instructor as well as a photo shoot provided by the hotel. The best part of the whole experience however had to be the staff. They were all so incredibly attentive and kind, such lovely people who made our time there so special. The best thing was that while we were there, it was my mom's birthday. We never mentioned it to the staff but they happened to notice her birth date when they were checking us in and surprised us at the door with a cake that night. We left with memories we will never forget and I would definitely recommend anyone who goes to Ubud to stay here!

The hotel itself and the room is beautiful and breakfast is great as well. The place is designed in a way that it feels like you’re staying inside the temple in a jungle. You’d get cute photos but it’s not worth it. I do not recommend staying during the rainy season. Not sure why they designed it this way but the bathroom is open-air, connecting it to the terrace aka the entrance for all sorts of bugs, insects and lizards who want to cozy up. I dreaded coming back to the hotel every night because the floor would be covered with little bugs and especially the bathroom. One night I came back to a bathtub full of dead insects and a gigantic lizard. Looked like he had a feast and the sight of that traumatized me. You can call housekeeping again but this will just keep happening every day. They should probably clean the room twice during rainy season otherwise it’s just not sustainable

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel very much. It’s a very quiet place surrounded by nature. Our room was big and with a great view. The swimming pools and the yoga classes are another asset of this place. The air in the room and in the bathroom was sometimes heavy. Great service, they really care about their guests.

We had an amazing stay here. The rooms are beautifully furnished, the bed is very comfortable and the room has a balcony. The staff is very friendly and helping and made our stay perfect. We took a yoga class in the morning which was great. They have a spa as well where we had our first balinese Massage. It was very relaxing and we felt like new born afterwards. The hotel area is very green and quiet. The food at the restaurant is delicious and they have great vegan options, what we liked a lot. The hotel is located just a few minutes drive outside of the center of Ubud. But there are great Restaurants in walking distance as well.

Overall it was a good experience and we loved it. We stayed for 4 days and had a good time. After seeing few negative reviews, was bit skeptical and however went ahead with booking. Honestly the response from sales team via what'sapp and email was slow and could not have a conversation at all with the team before booking.Poor response from reservations and sales but however opinion was changed after visiting. Courteous staff and received nicely and explained everything about resort. Pros: -Rooms were great and absolutely loved it. Stayed in grand deluxe room. -Amazing view of the nature and small stream when you get down -Kudos to the staff, who were always available to help for any query and assistance including the restaurant staff -They have packed the breakfast when we were leaving on the last day -Allowed to get the outside food in rooms -Lot of sit out places to sit and relax Cons: -Didnt provide welcome drinks as mentioned in the package ( might be unintentional) -We didn't enjoy the food as not much vegetarian options. In fact due to low occupancy when we visited, many items have been taken off in the breakfast buffet. A big upset when it comes to food - Few of the spots mentioned/displayed in the website were under maintenance and hopefully they will be fixed as they offer amazing sit outs and views -Mosquito net was dirty People who have mentioned about broken wooden stairs and safety all, guess they all have been fixed and in fact they were doing it in some places when we visited.

From the moment we entered into Adiwana Svargaloka we were all well take care of. The welcome drink with the music was a warm welcome. We did the pottery class which was a real hit and must do activity on a rainy day. The staff was very courteous and kind...always ready to help. The morning yoga class is really good as well. It's a real retreat. It's cut off from the main street and all the hustle bustle. Coming from the busy city life it offered us the much needed break.. This place has so much to offer. We certainly felt that this place has healing and rejuvenating quality. We loved it here. Special thanks to Pita, Merta,Ngurah,Dwik,Ratna for all the care and comfort they have provided during our stay... We stayed in the junior suite. We were there to celebrate our five years family anniversary. Surprisingly the whole room was decorated with flowers and welcome smacks plus drinks. We made a lot of memories here

We have loved our stay at Adiwana Svargaloka Hotel. It has been the best out of the 4 hotels we have stayed at in Bali. The rooms are clean and spacious, the breakfast is very diverse and fresh, the location is perfect as you are close to the city yet in a natural environment. But the best part was the staff's treatment, they are very friendly, especially the receptionist Pita, who has always been attentive to us, making our stay perfect. Very grateful to the hotel and its staff, and looking forward to returning.

I surprised my parents with a stay at Adiwana Svarga Loka (meaning heaven). It is indeed a heaven in Ubud. We had a lovely time from the beginning to the end. The location is perfectly tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud marketplace. It’s slightly off from the main road which is what we are looking for as my father is a workaholic and I wanted him to relax. There is wifi available all throughout the resort. The breakfast was absolutely amazing. The pool although small, it’s perfect for a cozy time. Some parts of the hotel were under maintenance which was a bummer but even then we had a wonderful time in the remaining area. Everyday there were activities like cooking class, yoga and kirtan which we enjoyed the most. My 2 year old son had a blast dancing during the kirtan. The staff were on toes at all times from calling us a taxi which was always cheaper than calling a grab to the smallest of the requests we had including a surprise birthday cake for my father. They entertained my kid as well. Special shout-out to Pita and Merta. They were always available and went above and beyond to help us with smallest requests we had. They made sure our stay was as comfortable as it could be. We had a unique spa experience in the open connecting to nature and Piki was absolutely amazing! Thank you Adiwana Svarga Loka, we will surely come back and make sure we recommend you to all our friends and families!

Location is near ubud city center but a little bit on the hill. You can walk to ubud within 20 min (strong walk). The atmosphere of hotel is quiet & feel like in the jungle. The breakfast is so delicious is more western style a la carte breakfast. However the last day had heavy rain. The electric & water system broken. The staff not offer any help they said just wait untill 9am but we need to leave like 7.30. If they can manage the crisis or just offer any help, it will be good.

At 56 USD per night with breakfast included, this was the most I've ever spent on a hotel in Bali, and I was hoping for better value. The staff were extremely kind, but there was poor communication that hurt my experience. For instance, the breakfast menu said that "gourmet coffee" was included, but espresso drinks were not included, only Bali coffee. When we booked the hotel, we were pleased that check-in was 12 PM and checkout was 2 PM, but we received a call at 1 PM asking us to be out by 1:30. Apparently 2 PM checkout was a typo. The breakfast was very good, especially the sourdough bread. I loved that you could order it at anytime throughout the day, not only in the morning. The room was against a few trees that you could not see past from the balcony. The walls are thick, but soundproofing is ruined by the doors connecting the rooms. Also, staff would loudly slide furniture in the morning. The wifi was slow even though we were told we had one of the best rooms for wifi. Staff are great at cleaning rooms, even if you only leave for a couple of hours in the afternoon. The grounds are very beautiful, and athletic people can hike down to the fancier pool and the river. Unfortunately, it was too cool to swim while we were there. Sami's Warung nearby is amazing, and there are other great things to do within walking distance. Grab picks up from the main street. Good, but next time I'll probably stick with places that are under 30 USD per night.

This location is not worthy of even one star. Reservation was confirmed directly with the hotel about arriving one day early. Upon arrival I am told to wait , then I was informed I had to pay for the first night in total contradiction of confirmation. After 1 hour of insisting, I was let into a room with the door secured by a pad lock. Bathroom is exterior without air condition. The steps leading down to the spa and pool area are a major tripping hazard and totally dilapidated. Many structures are in complete disrepair with heavy musty smell. This location is rated as 4 stars and considered a retreat location. The description as advertised is very deceiving and misleading. I highly do not recommend this location.

The first day me and my friend went to the hotel. The room stink of bio. We have to call the reception to change the room they told no room available. We told to get the manager they did change the room still same smell. So we have to call expidi. because we booked the hotel through expidi .expidi call the hotel than they change the room again same smell. I think this hotel is very quiet room never used for long times. We told them to open the door sprai the room eventually smell gone it's a bad experience for me and my friend .we been to many other country never ever had problems like that.

A Beautiful hotel with amazing rooms. I had a villa with a bathtub. In the room is everything you need to feel comfortable. The breakfast was excellent as well the afternoon tea with a dessert. The hotel is situated 10 min walking from the ubud center I was only disappointed that they didn’t have yoga included in the price. The staff was wonderful and helpful. When I am in ubud again, I will stay here.

First things first, the property is not back to its full glory as is evident from some sections being closed and the non maintenance of lower section. But the staff made sure we had a very comfortable stay despite operating only a part of the resort. For the Delux rooms I would suggest insist on rooms on first floor which have a balcony and don’t have open to nature bathrooms. The property itself is gorgeous and includes temple relics. The breakfast choices are adequate and the service at the restaurant is even better. Over all great service, and value for money!

Stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights, amazing! Peaceful ambience, great pool (it’s perfect for swimming and chilling), great for me-time, you could take a walk around the hotel and enjoy the lush greenery and the view by the river. The restaurant by the pool is also great for reading and relax. Mbok Ari from Kemangi resto will greet you with her warm smile and make sure you’re well taken care of. 💙 Kemangi resto is also opened for public. We tried Soto ayam & Pumpkin soup, perfect for the cold days.

Very nice rooms, comfortable bed. Staff were very helpful, make sure you take time with questions as can get lost in translation as with anywhere in bali. We visited on my partners birthday and staff went above and beyond to make it extra special. We enjoyed a cooking class, martial arts class and learning local instruments. We included breakfast everyday, they do an all day breakfast so you don’t miss out even if you sleep in, had different meals everyday and were left feeling full and happy. Very relaxing place to stay and could enjoy spending more time here.
