The best pizza I’ve ever eaten & my family too. It’s all about the pizza base - they mastered it. 😍 Price is very reasonable. Great ambience. Long queues so worth booking for dinner. Walk-in for lunch time is possible though. Back to the pizza base, it’s so fluffy & airy. Thin & crispy in the middle, light and baked for the crust. One bite, you get a really nice yeasty flavour. Any topping is recommendation cause the base is so good. (Won’t really recommend the starters though) I would highly highly recommend. You won’t find anywhere better in Venice :) as I tried the top rated pizza shops in Venice.

The pizze were alright. I'll give an A+ for originality though. The menu is in Italian, and you can scan a QR code to get the translation, but there is no signal from inside the restaurant... I would rate the place higher if it were not for the fact that a couple of the pies were burnt on the bottom. It wasn't too bad, but it's not pleasant to eat charred crust. The staff is quite friendly and there is very like wait to get the pie.

Visited this place two times during my 4 day stay in Venice. Lovely fun ambiance, amazing service, very friendly, proffesional and welcoming staff and good food. They offer a wide range of pizzas made with different kinds of cheese and fresh ingredients. Clean place. Highly recommended while in Venice.

I’ve took into consideration ever review on Google and yelp, and we chose this restaurant. By far the best pizza we have ever had. I also got pasta with meat sauce and it was also delicious. I dream of this meal every day. I would come back here the entire trip if I could.

If you love good food………. This is your place , wow 🤩 amazing food ,great service, this was recommended by an Italian friend and it did not disappoint. And you can tell by how busy it is , while other restaurants nearby are trying to get people inside . Highly recommend this place

We liked this restaurant so much that we came back for a second night in a row! I got the gnocchi both times and it is AMAZING. My husband got a pizza last night and a calzone tonight. We both had the bruschetta with such fresh tomatoes you would think they had a garden out back! We had two types of white wines and both were very smooth and refreshing. Definitely recommend! The line was out the door when we passed by later on.

Real Italian food by real Italian people. Pizza is amazing and nothing like what we have in the states. The dough is good enough to eat on its own. The pasta and bread are phenomenal. Plan on making multiple visits on your trip because there's so much good food you can't eat it all one night.

Wow this was amazing food and service. We had a group of 7 last minute for lunch on a busy day and they squeezed us in. THE most amazing fresh mozzarella in Venice. The service was quick and friendly, every dish was perfect. This place was a 10/10, best food we ate in Venice.

The pizzas were nice. I liked the grilled veggies white dough pizza but the topping was not evenly spreaded. The base was a bit chewy and slightly uneven shaped if you were a fan of crispy and round pizza. The restaurant was crowded and the staff was super busy. After the first order, we ordered another bottle of water and it never came (and was not on the bill either)

Actually, I don't need to comment too much about this restaurant. Because the crowd inside will show you everything. It is often difficult to find good food in tourist areas. But this restaurant broke that stereotype. The best pizzas I've had recently were here. Pizza dough, pizza sauce, cheeses, olive oil... It was all delicious. Also they were using a classic Pizza oven. This is an important detail. The staff was friendly. Are you in Venice? Do you want to eat pizza? Go there without even thinking.

We ate there for a late lunch today and it was good food. I wouldn't say the best pizza or pasta that I've ever had but it was enjoyable. Something weird seemed to have happened with our pizza though - maybe our fault for coming in at 3:15 right before they close at 3:30 - but a pizza was already on a plate ready to go and after we ordered a pizza, we saw the pizza that was on the plate go back in the oven, then on the plate again and then being delivered to us way earlier then the rest of our dishes. It still tasted good but something made us think it wasn't meant for us but then repurposed to fit our order. Also it was supposed to have basil on it and there was only one tiny piece of it on there (see picture)

Me and my partner visited Rossopomodoro to celebrate our 1 year anniversary and it was a really great experience! The service we received here was tremendous, the staff were incredibly polite. The food itself was absolutely brilliant, all of our food (gnocci, calamari, and pizza) was insane and the pizza specifically is probably the best I've ever had to date!

I’ll go straight to the point, this place has amazing pizzas. We ordered the one with truffle oil (baianese) and the one with prosciutto and had no regrets, amazing dough, fair amount of cheese and generous toppings. An additional thing to point out is that the service is tends to be very quick, and kind. About the place itself, it has a lot of rooms, and they take reservations, so it shouldn’t be too hard to find a place to sit. The one negative thing I will bring up is that we ordered 2 pizzas and one came with a significant delay.

The first night we stopped in, the service and food were good. Ultimately, we returned to try it again to see if it was as good as the first. We were seated in a less busy area of the restaurant, and the service was incredibly slow. The first time we went, we were given bread at the table and a coffee container with oils and salt in it. On the second visit, we definitely did not get bread or the container with the oils in it. It was some of the better pizzas that we had tasted while in Venice. The Burrata was good, but it had some form of bread crumbs that I could have done without. The Tiramisu was ok, but it had some hard edges, meaning it was not as fresh as I had hoped. It also showed it coming in a cup, but it came out in a square with an overload of cinnamon on it. Although I chose a 4-star review, this was more of a 3.5.

Really good pizza! A very busy place and surprisingly a chain restaurant. Normally I’m not so fond of chains, but this one’s an exception 😊 Because it was really busy, which many restaurants around it couldn’t say, some things took a little longer. We weren’t very hungry and not in a hurry so we didn’t mind. But it was worth the wait. Well stocked pizza with fresh good quality ingredients. We had the Neranese and Diavola, both with addons. We love Nduja 😍. The desert, a Bebé, was a twist on a tiramisu, it was ok, nothing special. The service became better and friendlier during the evening 😊 Good prices if you want to out for dinner in Venice 😉 The toilets could be a bit cleaner though.

Def need reservation. Glad to have an Italian speaking friend to make the res and we walked right in past the line (because of our res). The restaurant was a tad crowded but smelled good. The wait staff was very busy but we were seated promptly. Menu came later and it took a while for a wait staff to take our drink /meal order. We ordered 4 different pizzas and they were oh-so good. It didn't look as good as it taste. A lot of crust and I was never a crust person but it was yummy. I ate everything.

We needed a quick lunch in Venice after arriving as we had a tour scheduled of St. Marks. Our local guide recommended this restaurant, which was just steps from our hotel. From outside, it seems tiny, but inside it is like a cavern - the rooms keep going and going - it is huge! We loved our lunch, lots of pasta and pizza variety at a very reasonable price. We liked it so much that we returned for dinner! It is a chain and I later found one in Rome as well. I would definitely return and recommend especially for lunch.

Came across this from an FB Venice group that had mixed reviews. From a price point there are better places to go to, and the taste does seem to cater more for a certain contintent's tastebuds. Average for the price paid and would go only if I couldn't find a place elsewhere to eat

Friendly vibe, good staff (they don't speak English fluently but you can still communicate effectively with them). Went there 2 times first, mainly for pizzas. My favorite was the one with 18 months Prosciutto. I tried Tiramissu, Pana cota, and Lemon Deliciosa (type of spongy cake with lemon curd) that was my favorite.

Really enjoyed our final meal in Venice at Rossopomodoro! Even though Venice isn't known for pizza, we really wanted an Italian pizza before we left town. They were so good! Another of our group ordered cacio e pepe which was smooth and delicious. I don't remember all the pizzas our group ordered but the pictures are for the "Rossopomodoro ai 3 pomodori" with three types of tomatoes and the Diavola. I also had a limoncello spritz which was fun. A little slow on service but a very busy place which is usually a good sign!

We enjoyed two delicious pizzas in this casual spot near San Marco square. The prices were reasonable and the service attentive. The bathrooms were clean too!

Actually, I still don't feel ready to give this feedback, because I know very well that whatever I say will be not enough. Thank you to everyone who participated for the best lasagna I've ever had in my life, it's still in my dreams. 🤌🏼 The ambiance is elegant and cozy, the prices are not very affordable but they definitely worth it, the plates are big enough and delicious enough to make you drool, the staff was a bit rude but that happens. we also ordered wine and it was quite tasty. We had the 5 cheese pizza and lasagna, the pizza was perfect and definitely the best I've had in Venice. BUT THE LASAGNA WAS THE BEST LASAGNA I'VE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE AND IN THE WHOLE WORLD, I DIDN'T JUST LOVE IT, I FELL IN LOVE WITH IT. I COULD WRITE POEMS ABOUT IT, I COULD FLY 4 HOURS TO VENICE AGAIN JUST FOR THIS LASAGNA🤪 I sincerely recommend you to eat here, but I beg you to eat the lasagna❤️ Thank you so much for everything, this meal was the best part of my trip. + info : we sat directly on Saturday without a reservation! and in total we paid 46€ for this table

Nice and quiet place to eat and drink. Bruchetta was simple but delicious, just like the gniocchi with tomatosauce. Service was very good, friendly and correct.

Naples cuisine in Venice! We enjoyed a quick lunch, and everyone was great. Front of house had to be the most efficient I've seen in Italy, there were always people lining up to get in but never formed a line. The pizza chef was in full view and also rocked a steady flow of food going out. Highly recommend if you are around San Marco.

This was the best pizza we had on our trip. This was recommended to us by our Gondolier Daniel, as well as a glass shopkeeper. I never knew this type of pizza is called Naples style. This was truly wood fired. The chicken Caesar salad was one of the best salads I’ve ever had in my life. This food has made a lasting memory. The staff was fantastic! They were kind to show us the oven. I hope to return.

Xmas in Venice is rather special. However it is not the main season for this destination and you can definitely see by the amount of guests which restaurants are popular. Rossopomodoro was one of the few that was almost full. We had only pizza and chips so I can't comment on other sides but ours were worth of the money spent. A whole pizza for 12 to 15 EURO. You do need to pay the sitting change however which is 2.5 Euro. But that's standard.

Good Napolitan pizza in the heart of Venezia. Located in an ancient house, terrace area, gran floor and 1st floor. Can be crowded but service is efficient and fast. Pizza was tasty and prices affordable for being center city.

Excellent pizza, from real fire oven, very nice stuff, very good prices, 2.50 per person service fees.

Made a reservation here but that wasn’t necessary - tons of tables extending far into the back, and majority of people who sat down around us were walk ins. Very popular spot but I only saw 3 waitstaff who seemed a bit overwhelmed at times. Our antipasto took about 30 minutes and our pizza another half an hour after that, so our meal was pretty slow. But there’s a good breeze and it’s in a good location close to doge’s palace so we didn’t mind it too much. But just in case you’re short on time, this place may be a little slow for you. Antipasto and pizza were yummy and fresh, definitely well prepared with quality ingredients. Coke Zero there came in a glass, unlike everywhere else where you get the can — it was somehow extra delicious though, but just an FYI if that’s not your preference. All in all, I would definitely recommend this place for a solid lunch option in between museum/sightseeing visits.

Great food! We ate twice here during our stay in Venice. Best pizza in town with good options for vegetarians. The staff is very kind and polite. Special mention to Ms. Patrizia for being an amazing hostess

Worth the wait! After 30 minutes the pizza came and it was one of the best pizzas I have ever had. Great crust, lovely cheeses, very good ham and a good size for a full lunch. I added the tomatoe salad which was also lovely.

One thing I didn’t understand was that, while The piazza napoletana looked fantastic in some review, what I had was totally different. Anyway, the pizza tasted really bad.

This place was recommended to us by our Italian host in Venice. We ate in the restaurant and got takeaway another night. It's a restaurant chain so we weren't expecting it to be the best pizza but it was good. Cheese maybe was too runny. And we needed to translate the menu ourselves as staff were busy (but we were told non English language menus are a good sign in Venice!). Prices and location were good. And our kids liked it!
