We finished our stay in Venice with dinner at this restaurant because of the view. We should have read the reviews. I cannot emphasize how absolutely rude the waitstaff is at this establishment. We were treated like cattle during this dinner. I have honestly never experienced such rude treatment in my life. From the waiter only speaking to us to take our order to having tables, chairs, and menus tossed/shoved past our table as the waiter hastily moved things around. While throwing menus past us onto the table next to us was enough, he bumped my elderly mother several times as he shoved tables and chairs past us and then hit her head with a cloth napkin as he was "dusting off the table" for the next people. It was absolutely unreal. The food was certainly not worth enduring the experience. There are far better places in Venice where you will have a much more enjoyable experience and leave with your dignity in tact. If you are reading the reviews, you are smarter than we were!

It's a nice restaurant right beside the canal. The servers were really nice. I ordered a gnocchi and it was tasty and super filling. I got a table fast and my food was delivered pretty fast to my table as well.

I was honestly disgusted by the food. It smelled and tasted like dog food (as in legit dog food, maby even worse). We wanted to leave because we were afraid of food poisoning, we left without eating any of it (we payed full price). I highly suggest walking 100 meters and get a salad at “spar” 1/5 of the price and 100 x better food. Also, the waiters were rude because we did not want any drinks yet when we ordered. They calculate their tips in the price otherwise they won’t get any. (Picture is not clear because it is a screenshot of a video)

I’m shocked this doesn’t have better ratings! The waiter we had was amazing. He was truly nice and helpful! Got to Venice while it was raining so we decided to grab a quick bite to eat and wait out the rain. Told the waiter and he smiled, assured us that he’ll take care of us and let us pick the table we wanted. The cappuccino was delicious, pizza was “okay”, and gnocchi were good (not great). Giving 4 stars because of the gorgeous view and great staff! But the food could be a bit better.

The only good thing is the location. The food is very bad. Like, it's not "okay" - it's straight up bad. What we ordered and the result: - Scampi risotto: rice was undercooked and the dish was generally tasteless - Gnocchi: generally bad taste - Fried calamari: filled with sand - Fries: I would've been impressed but not surprised had they messed that up An insult to Italian cuisine. The waitress was fantastic hence the 1 star.

This restaurant is located in perfect location, along the Grand Canal. The service is a bit weak as its always fully packed. Food was tasty but average

When we were first seated one of the waiters was quite rude. We asked to be sat in the shade and by a fan. Our waiter moved us and then the other waiter started shouting for us to move back to where we were. We were told that this was because he prefers Americans as they always leave a tip? The mussels and pizza were really delicious but the pasta was mediocre. Also I wouldn’t get bottled water from here as I’m pretty sure they’re just adding tap water in the bottle. This was my second time here however after the service this time around I wouldn’t be coming back. Definitely not worth the €75.

This is a generous 3 stars which I only give because our waitress was so lovely and the location on the grand canal is very nice. However, we were given a wobbly table, we were told there was no pizzas available which we both were going to order since nothing else on the menu sounded too great, the food was expensive and everything came separately so you had to spend a lot to fill yourself up, and the food I had in the end (bolognaise ravioli) was very bland really and in a small portion (I wouldn’t be surprised if I was told it was frozen). I expected much more given the price and given it was from an Italian restaurant. Dessert was quite nice, we had Tiramisu and chocolate cake

Awful experience- with so many charming and delicious restaurants in Venice don't waste your time here! We were sat at a canal side table in the afternoon, the restaurant was not busy, with many open tables. The waiter arrived and we ordered espresso and desserts. He then rudely made us, as well as my elderly parents, move to a different table, because he said the tables by the canal are reserved for those eating meals. Take your business elsewhere.

Really surprised to see such a poor review of this wonderful restaurant. We ordered Tagliatelle with Salmon and Spaghetti with Shell and Shrimps, both of which were amazing. The gentleman who waited on our table was really helpful and customized the spaghetti with shrimp (not on their usual menu) and added a spicy zing. Granted the price is on the higher side, however the awesome view of Canale Grande and the food makes it really worthwhile. I would strongly recommend this restaurant, it does deserve more love.

I don't have nothing to say about the Ambiance because it's Venice and it's near the canal too. Perfect place for a Romantic dinner. We tried lots of dishes. Everything was very delicious especially the desserts are a must try. Never miss this place. All apart, the waiter was so nice too.

Do not waste your time. My husband and I sat down to just have a couple drinks and share a pizza. When we went to put in our order, the waiter with sheer disgust told us, "this is a restaurant", like we didn't know. He then proceeded to tell us we must order full meals each or leave. We left immediately. After reading through these reviews, apparently this is not a rare occasion. I would have given this sad excuse of a restaurant 0 stars if I could.

We wanted to eat at the Restaurant. My Kids wanted ice cream, my wife wanted to have a nice drink and I wanted to have a Lasagne. They offered us a spot right at the street instead of letting us sit at a nice and quiet spot where many tables were empty. They said it's just possible to sit there when every one of us has a main meal. Not an option for us. Very unfriendly waiter.

Great view and sits right on the grand canal. The wait was a little long but the place was packed. We enjoyed a bottle of wine while we waited and couldn’t be happier we stopped here for an early afternoon lunch. Prosciutto pizza was delicious and the Soave white wine was good. Wine prices are for half bottles (375ml). Our waiter was great and talkative. He asked where we were from and how long we had been in Venice. This may not be the perfect five star restaurant but definitely worth a stop for a meal on the canal.

I'm really surprised from the reviews for this restaurant. We had such an amazing service and very kind waiter. The food was delicious, pizza was melting in the mouth and on top of that with a very nice view. Prices are not through the roof aswell.

I got off the train from a long travelling day and this was the first restaurant I found. I have to mention that I had a great waiter. He was funny and really made me feel welcome. The food was great, I had a pizza with olives. Got myself a 340ml wine and just took in the amazing views before walking to my hotel.

Well.. after order the breads came on it own with nothing else.. is this the way to eat them in Italy ? ( asked for olive oil and vinegar later and no plate was given for it ) The drinks was forgotten and I had to ask. Pasta was so average that I can cook 10x better and had to wait the waiter and ask for spoons as well.. Dessert for €8 and it’s so tiny .. If I read the review before I sit down :) Everything they do is rush you out the door but they are not even busy . Not bad place if just need something to eat quickly or rest.

So it has been about 7 years since we’ve visited Italy. This was our first stop because we wanted a waterside view. We did mention we were from Canada and the waiter was friendly and easy to communicate with. Took a bit long to get service but it wasn’t too bad. Meal was moderately tasty, but there was a significant amount of sand in the clams. Upon leaving, we were presented with a bill and a cheeky comment that cash tip is not included and would be one the side. We are well aware that tipping culture is not the same as in America— but it was a first stop and a pretty good meal so we did leave a 20£ tip. Was kind of on the spot though. Probably would not recommend esp if you’re an obvious foreigner.

Very disappointing food. Very plane, no salads, just fries without sauce, fish with one salad leaf. Pasta alfredo, plane, sauce without taste, no decorations. Very expensive for this sad looking and no taste food.

Excellent Restaurant with a good selection of food, best part about of it are the nice waitresses in comparison to other places I visited where they're more interesting in your business than the customer. The food in Italy is always brilliant and this isn't an exception as well as the drinks are served cold. Definitely recommend for the nice atmosphere and view onto the water.

Fantastic dinner! Wine, appetizers, mouthwatering entrees, service, all were excellent. Beautiful view along the canal.

Nice view and good meals. When we ordered coffee waitress told us with frown on her face that „This is the place where you eat” - she was making angry faces when she was talking with us all evening. Than after we ordered dessert to the coffee basically to calm her down, they said we have to go to a different part of the restaurant. The part where we sat was half-empty. It could be easily avoided if they would nicely explained that in the beginning or leave a sign. It left really bad taste and we rekommend people to avoid this place.

The attendant was a young lady from Romanian, very lovely and polite who welcome us very well.

Max, our waiter was terrific. Nice waterside place to eat. Not rushed. Could sit back and enjoy the ambiance, the view of the Grand Canal. Ordered the ham, mushroom and artichoke pizza. It was good but nothing to write home about. The lasagna was mush. So definitely pass on it. In fact, I suggest that If you order pasta here, be sure to tell the waiter that you want it al dente —- just to be safe. Overall, I’d say it’s passable food, with a good location, no-pressure to give up the table, and good service. Prices are a little higher but acceptable. Remember there is a euro 1.5 per person cover charge, but they did not apply a 12% service fee which was stated on the menu.

👍👍 The best pizza I’ve ever eaten & my family too. It’s all about the pizza base - they mastered it. 😍 Price is very reasonable. Great ambience. Long queues so worth booking for dinner. Walk-in for lunch time is possible though. Back to the pizza base, it’s so fluffy & airy. Thin & crispy in the mid...
