👍👍 Well, it is a HOSTEL , y'all, not holiday inn. One of the best rooms ever, great kitchen, fixed a few of the expresso eoffee pots, lots of goods left by the departing students. You bring your own soap etc, don't complain about anything. Others are paying 10 times your fee with less of a view. I was... People often mention room, location, rooms,

I used muscles I didn't know I had 😅

-ves: unprofessional and impolite personnel. Unfriendly vibes immediately. Waiting times, that make no sense. No shampoo or even hands soap. I believe that hands soap in the bathroom is more than essential!, regardless of how much you pay. Level of cleanliness is below average to say the least. Single bed is too small ! , the smallest I ve ever seen and very uncomfortable. No lift. We were 2 females and it would have been a nice gesture they had offered a helping hand with our suitcases up to the 3rd floor, when there is no lift. They didn't smile once, literally not once. No understanding at all of what basic customer's service is. You don't want to ruin your holiday, stay away !!! +ves: near vaporetto station, price...well I guess.

WiFi is terrible, the bathrooms are outside of the room and they aren't very clean. Even my dorm room was about 10-15 degrees slanted. The only good thing is that the location is 5 minutes away from th vaporetto (water bus) stop.

You can't really ask for more for the price that you pay. The location it's pretty cool and the service at the front desk is really nice. But there are obviously downsides. For starters there are a lot of mosquitoes, really, a lot of them. Also the bathroom is shared, but its usually pretty clean. Even tho in the shower, the water does whatever it wants. In the rooms the beds aren't the best, but the worst part is how hot it is inside. But overall I think is a good place to stay.

Attractive prices, Good location, close to the ferries stops - its extremely loud most of the time, even with closed windows, so remember to bring some ear plugs. Ascetic rooms, included "personal" mouldy WC is located across the corridor. Good enough spot to spend 1-2nights in overhyped, overpriced and overcrowded Venice

The property is beautifully located right next to the sea. This also makes it easily accessible from all over the city as the closest ferry port is just a few metres away. The Rialto bridge is approximately a 15 minutes walk away. The rooms are part of a huge complex that leads right on a nice little piazza with some opportunities to eat and drink. The staff was very friendly and the rooms exceptionally clean and comfortable.

I loved my stay here - clean and comfortable room with big windows and wonderful views in a fantastic location slightly off grid but near water taxis and the sea, supermarket and bars yet only 15 minutes walk to St Mark Square. Very helpful staff. Well priced vending machine in the foyer. Wish the coffee came without sugar, or had the option to choose.

Lovely simple renovated rooms right by the ferry stop, so perfect for arriving and departing to the airport and station. We had a lovely view over the lagoon.

Nice price, good location, the style is quite old, however that’s just such a place.

Nice location, but cause we had an ocean view it was quite noisy at night - we could hear tourists and ships a lot. Furniture in the room was really lovely and beds were comfortable. On our arrival we could not get in to the hotel, we could not reach the owner either.

I would have been happier staying at the Doge palace prisons. This place was so unwelcoming and uncomfortable. I booked a single private room with private bathroom which was at the top of the stairs in the attic. The bathroom was across the hall. There was a top bunk over the single bed so I thought they made a mistake but they just folded away the top bunk and called it a single private room. The feathers were constantly falling out of the comforter. So much that I had feathers everywhere in my room by the end of my stay. The bathroom towels had makeup stains from a previous guest! Disgusting. The halls had a terrible open sewer smell as if someone had an “accident” and they just never fully sanitized. The reception was cold and unfriendly. They said they closed in the evening which was fine but one time I came back at 8:30pm and the doors were locked! And then another time I stayed out until 11:30 but the doors were open. So that was very confusing. They were doing renovations right outside my room during my whole stay and they never warned me. I would have liked to have been told so that I could have planned my sleep schedule better. I also had to take out my trash myself. By the last few days there were ants even though I kept the place clean. Overall terrible experience. Only the superintendent with the long hair and glasses seemed concerned and was friendly. I wish I could have cancelled the moment I stepped in. 0/10. Do not recommend. Edit: wow I am shocked at their immature response to my negative review. I just had a not-so-great experience. So what. I’m just telling the truth without sugar coating it. Relax. People will still come. It’s a great location and it’s cheap if you can put up with the rest no biggie.
