Beyond Beautiful!!! Stayed in the Royal Suite on various occasions whilst in Venice. The room is truly breathtakingly beautiful, gorgeous views over the canals from the long slim balcony and Juliet Balcony windows. Ridiculously large lounge with sumptuous fresco painted ceilings, truly romantically gold fabric dressed draped bed with fabulous period furniture. This will not disappoint at all. Delightful Staff from reception to Breakfast and the evening turndown, helpful in every way with perfect English and endless smiles, they are a gift to the Hotel which is also spotlessly clean, it’s Quiet, 5-10 mins walk from everything and everywhere right in the beating heart of Venice. I couldn’t recommend highly enough, if you book here I can certainly see returning like I do year on year. The the reader, thanks for getting to the end of my waffle, to any staff at the Hotel, thank you and see you again very soon. Dr. G Morris, London (Booked to return again in Sept 2021) 5 stars ⭐️ +

The Hotel Ai Cavalieri is simply outstanding on every level. From the wow factor upon arrival, easy check in, polite and professional staff who cannot do enough for you, it's a wonderful hotel. The rooms are elegant and the decor throughout the hotel screams 5*. Very well located and easy access to shops and restaurants. Thank you Hotel Ai Cavalieri for a wonderful stay!

Very good Location in Venice, easy to Walk anywhere from here and with an entrance from the canal also. There is a bar with a terrace but serving no food outside of breakfast, it was nice sitting there for a rest while having a drink. Friendly staff in the reception and the bar. We had a rather dark room in the top floor and for the 3 days we stayed there, the lift was not working, it was not ideal having to climb four floors after arriving from a long walk. The private trips to Murano they offer are very expensive and I would rather recommend to book them outside of the hotel. The cost of a water taxi from the hotel to the parking is 70 eur.

It is more like a 5 stars hotel, we simply loved it. We were so lucky, we got a room with balcony. Staff was friendly, everything was excellent. It has even got a small dock, you can take a gondola ride from there.

It was one of the best hotels I ever stayed. Everything was perfect. the location was excellent. You can reach any point of interest within 7-10min by foot. There is no need for water bus service. Very friendly staff, room was amazing, very clean and great standard. I definitely recommend 👌 thank you

Spent three nights here over New Years. The experience overall was disappointing. First off, for £300/night, breakfast was hugely underwhelming - gave up on coffee when it turned out to be instant, but even the water for tea was cold, everything seemed from a budget B&B. We barely touched it the first time and skipped the other two. Our room on the first floor was also very noisy - you could hear people on the street below very loudly. The decor is typical of Venice I suppose, so very decadent. However, it felt tired rather than fancy - e.g. Some of the walls appear to be marble, but are actually just plasterboard. Only good thing I'd recommend is the location and the large, clean bathrooms.

beautiful hotel in venice! beautiful, spacious rooms with incredible design and comfort, bathrooms were also incredibly spacious, ventilated and clean – equipped with accessibility needs for the disabled! breakfast was also great; variety of food and quality was impressive. the staff were friendly and proactive, and even helped us to arrange a water taxi to send us to the train station after our stay. this hotel is also within minutes' walk to most of the attractions in venice along with some hidden gems.

The rooms and staff are excellent. The only issue is the wifi is terrible overall and outright unusable at times.

Fantastic location, quiet rooms with very comfortable beds. Excellent service all around. Enjoyed the morning breakfasts on their lovely patio. In a word, luxurious. Highly recommend this hotel.

Absolutely marvelous! The hotel is like a palace with very beautiful decoration. We got a room with a big terrace, With everything you need. Very nice and helpful staff, they booked us a special taxi to the airport at night and recommended us where to go in the city. Great breakfast, great location, super quiet and very clean. We definitely recommend!!!

We had a beautiful room and a wonderful stay at Hotel Ai Cavalieri! The room itself was gorgeous - a beautiful bed with a canopy, an original painting on the ceiling, and Murano glass chandeliers. The ceilings and windows had to be 15 feet high - we felt like royalty staying there! We needed two cribs, and they were ready and waiting for us upon arrival - even with their own little pillows - it was so cute! I admit, I was a little nervous about noise, as we were close to the restaurant, but we truly didn't hear a sound! The staff were all excellent - giving us wonderful recommendations and helping us with anything we needed. Special thanks to the restaurant and bar staff who were very gracious and patient with my accident-prone 3 year old. We took water taxis to and from the train station, and it was such a cool experience pulling up right at the hotel dock. It was central to everything we wanted to do in the city and well known enough so that our tour guide could easily point us back in the right direction. I would absolutely stay here again!

Great hotel, can't think of anything that could really be improved. Air conditioning is excellent, breakfast is a large buffet with lots of variety. Rooms are luxurious, service friendly and fast. Even the water pressure is good in the shower, not a given thing in Venice. Location is perfect, quiet but in the middle of everything. Recommended!

We stayed here for a week and loved it. The daily breakfast was delicious and the staff were great. This hotel is within walking distance to St. Marks square, but it’s located in a tranquil area. Our room was absolutely beautiful! We will definitely stay here whenever we return to Venice.

Wonderful hotel, best breakfast on our trip. Beatiful room and setting. Would consider coming back The only negative was the information and attitude of staff at a few points - when my partner called the reception to ask for an iron before going out, he then waited 30min which prevented us from going. Still no iron, he called again and the receptionist was quite rude, saying that the bell boy is busy. Then it was another 10min wait. Another occasion was when we asked whether their offer on second drink 50% was on and we were encouraged to go to the bar, so we went. But when we asked for the bill after the four drinks, we paid the full price and when we asked about it, the bartender said that it is only from 5-7pm or so and it was like 5.15pm or something - that even though we are in that time frame, we did not order the first drink within that happy hour. Lastly, we were told that the terrace was open until midnight so we planned to come back from the town at 11pm and go there for the last drink but we were advised that the bar and the terrace closes at 10.30pm. We were very disappointed. Oh, one more thing, tv was cutting out every couple of seconds so unusable for background noise.

My daughter, granddaughter and I loved every moment from our initial checking to our check out. The rooms are beautiful and beautifully maintained and the staffing were uniformly helpful.and cheerful. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully served. If Icould be promised suite 311 I’d be back in a heartbeat. It’s that wonderful!

Great location, attentive stuff, superb breakfast. Room (junior suite) was spacious, clean, with an excellent palace feel to it. Definitely recommend and will be considering for stay while in Venice.

Where to begin...this is a wonderful hotel! We booked a junior suite only to be surprised by a complimentary superior suite upgrade equipped with free bubbly. The hotel is very palatial and the suite was positively presidential. We didn't want to explore too much as our suite was so very lovely! Plus the included breakfast is delicious and the staff (especially the lady with short dark hair) was extremely kind in providing gluten free options. Room service menu is limited but what we ordered was fabulous and so fresh. Fantastic location only a four minute walk to the famous book shop with cats and less than a ten minute walk to most of the tourist destinations.

Very nice hotel, location and staff. However I got extremely disappointed with the room. At the bottom floor near the entrance. You could hear all the clients walking in and out of the hotel at night. Also the curtains would not completely close so you have the outdoor light in the room all night. The heat in the room was not working properly so it was freezing cold in the room. Also the King bed had a double mattress so it had a split in the middle of the bed which was very inconvenient and uncomfortable. We requested to switch room right away as soon as it was assigned to us but our request was denied. This was a very exciting trip for us but the hotel definitely made it less magical which is a shame because this hotel was extremely well rated. I for sure had higher expectations. I will not lie I was very disappointed.

The hotel service was the best I've ever had. The hotel was clean and very well appointed. The initial courtyard was adorable. I'd recommend bringing bringing USB adapters for charging devices.

Wonderful hotel! We visited Rome, Florence, and Venice, and this was our favorite hotel. Service was exceptional, rooms were very clean, breakfast was good, and proximity to other places was good as well. I would definitely recommend

Everything about staying here was great. It is a beautiful hotel in a pretty good location. Our room was beautiful and large. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. The breakfast in the mornings was great. Honestly the best coffee the entire 2 weeks I spent in Italy. I have zero complaints and would (and will) recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Venice

We chose Hotel Ai Cavalieri after researching other top hotels in Venice. My husband and I generally like luxury boutique hotels over larger hotels, and were so pleased with our stay. We arrived in the middle of the major flood but still received highly professional service. Our suite was gorgeous, large and immaculate. We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast and cocktails in the bar. This was my second trip to Venice and hope to return to this hotel next year. We wish you the best in your recovery efforts.

I could not wait to post a review on Trip Advisor - I was ready the moment I walked in the door to check in. We made our reservation well in advance and had a lot of coordinating questions beforehand. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous but the staff makes this place an unbelievable experience. Attentive, responsive, very cordial and welcoming. Always on top of things and ready to help make your experience fantastic.

Staff unfriendly, the most rude was the older woman that thought not one of us spoke Italian. SHE WAS WRONG. She was condescending and implied my partner was stupid for asking if the room ready after one of the staff members took our bags.

This hotel is very well located and the rooms are quite grand and beautiful. It has all you can ask for in amenities - super comfy beds, lots of space, wonderful shower. The customer service is top-notch and the breakfast was a perfect way to start the day. I would highly recommend it!!! We travelled with a group of kids and it was a very family-friendly spot.
