A must visit. Santa Maria has beautiful paintings and a beautiful wooden statue of Jesus on a donkey. The highlights however are the Fra Giovanni inlaid wood pictures, inside the sacristy. Incredible pespective and artistry. The crypt is also well worth a visit. Santa Maria is now part of the New Jerusalem group which means that personal guided tours by knowledgable docents are often available. Its well worth the effort to come when the tours are available.

Very old church with nicely preserved ornaments and pictures. In the basement is the old church.

Pretty decent sight if you're in to churches/architecture. If you only like the main touristy churches, this isn't worth the walk for you.

A very interesting gem with woodcarvings that will amaze. A free guide is offered and tells marvellous stories with humour.

It was an amazing surprise. The church is super beautiful and the volunteers explain every bit of the amazing artwork. Can't be missed.
