THIS WAS THE CLEANEST HOSTEL I HAVE EVER BEEN TO! Our en-suite bathroom was cleaned everyday. The hostel was VERY secure with about 3 checkpoints to get into your dorm. The guys at the counter were very inviting and helpful. Location is not near any touristy-places so all the museums and Platz were about a 30-45 minute walk, but it made up for it because the hostel is located in what seems like a very authentic Austrian area. I recommend trying (Zur) Mitzitant for dinner which is a short walk.

What a wonderful, truly unique hostel! So much attention and care went into creating this experience. Clean to a fault, incredibly comfortable, with thoughtful details well executed, everywhere! The hosts are super kind and responsive: I would recommend this hostel for sure.

Everything was great. I really liked the neighbourhood, plenty of options to buy supplies for snacks and breakfast, large billa supermarket just around the corner. Small shared fridge to store food. Breakfast room with free tea and coffee and some fruit provided. Bunks are spacious and I slept pretty well here. Nice bathrooms but it is the only place I stayed that did not supply any shower soap. Proper hairdryers supplied. Location is convenient for Westbanhof Rail station and everything else in the city is easily reached using the fabulous network of trams buses and underground rail. Plenty of places can be reached on foot if you prefer it. Limited hours for reception staff 8-2pm during my stay, but they are very helpful if you need anything at all. Digital codes for entry so no keys to lose !

Antique look, clean, good bathrooms, good bed, a lot of space in the rooms, great host. Perfect for the price, can't say one thing that I didn't like.

A hidden gem near Westbahnhof station. This hostel was so comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. The guys on the front desk are so helpful and had great suggestions for what to see and do in Vienna. Beds in dorms have curtains and a reading light for extra privacy. Bathroom was spotless and kitchen has everything you need. It’s not the most social hostels and I wonder if many people know about it? I really enjoyed my stay here and would have no hesitations to stay again :)

Easily the best hostel I've ever stayed at! Gorgeous rooms with a living room. Free towels are provided and the shower is a real shower with a bathtub (and hot water). Complementary tea, coffee and cereal is provided. There is a kettle but no cooking facilities. Large lockers in the rooms for your bags. 1000/10 would recommend staying here! It's about a 30 minute walk to main city center but definitely worth it.

I spend 3 days and two nights there, honestly the best hostal from my trip in east Europe. I arrived at 9 from an 8 hours bus from krakow, and they let me check in early. I took a shower and rested before exploring the city. The stuff is super friendly, and the beds are comfortable. I love the privacy in each bed. I will recommend this place to everybody I know, especially solo female travels and friends.

I booked a bed in the the ladies dorm for 4. The room is very spacious, confortable and it has it's own bathroom. The bed were also comfortable and the individual curtain are a plus for your privacy. The staff is really nice and warm and the hostel is cleaned everyday, which is way appreciated and similar to an hotel service. The shared living room is spacious and tea / coffee are free. Possible to leave your luggage at the reception if you need to take a train / plane late in the afternoon 🙂 Thanks Vic & Adi!

I came for the Panic at the disco concert, therefore, location was excellent for me. Great hosts, clean and free tea/coffee as well. This was my FIRST and only time i was in a hostel, but i would gladly go back to this one. I had luck, in a 4 bedroom, therw were only 2 of us.

Generally pretty good with nice rooms and lockers. The towels provided were very small, almost more of a tea towel and it is a bit of a walk to the nearest U-Bahn station.

I really liked this hostel since it was clean and had great features like privacy curtains on the beds and an extra restroom in the hallway in addition to connected to the 4-bed female dorm. My only complaint is that there is no air conditioning - I stayed here in August of 2022 and it was definitely difficult to fall asleep at night due to the heat. But otherwise, it's a great value for the price and definitely a step above your average hostel.

Clean and beautiful interier. Service staff polite and helpful. Great place not far from the city center. Recommend to visit. This hostel is one of the best in Vienna for its price.

One of the best hostels I've ever been to. Extremely clean and the staff is super friendly. In general, it is very unique and stylish. Bed curtains offer a lot of privacy and comfort. Highly recommended! :)

Excelent Hostel. Probably the best hostel I've been. Extremely clean, great location at about 10 min public transport to the top turistic places. Very well tought to give privacy even tough you share a room. I will recommend it 100%. Also the owner it's very nice. More quiet than usual hostels.

The place it kept pretty clean. However, they do not have air conditioning. This made nights almost unbearable. At minimum, there should be a fan per bed.

This was such a lucky choice for my City break !! Wish I had a place like this to stay everywhere I travel to... The level of sofistication of the service shows they really know what they are doing, and they still hade time to be so freindly and helpfull! Location is a 2 min walk from the metro. The rooms are very good, spacious, clean and confortable. Common areas were so well designed: simple and functional. Thank you sooooooo much Vienna Boutique Hostel!!

It was my first experience in a hostel and it was totally worth it! Vic was super friendly and kind when I arrived and explained everything to me. The place is very very clean (you have to take off your shoes when you are inside, which I really appreciated!) and the room is big enough so that everybody can have his own space. The common room is beautiful, designed in the style of Vienna's typical cafes. The location is great because in just 10 minutes by tram you're at Ring Volkstheater, basically near the Parlament and the Hofburg Palace; also, nearby there's another tram line that takes you directly to Vienna's main station (Hauptbahnhof), where you can take trains directly to the airport. The neighborhood is quiet, I had no problems walking around on my own even later in the evening! Next time that I'll visit Vienna, I'll certainly stay here again! :)

Such a great hostel, friendly staff, nice big clean rooms, great bathroom, big locker for your stuff (with a key so you don't need your own lock!). Also nice eating area where there is free coffee and tea.

Fantastic place. Met a few people and spoke a lot. They have a great little place that’s close to the tram and the U station. Some nice cafés in walking distance.

The Vienna Boutique Hostel is a great place to stay while you're in Vienna. It is very conveniently located near several tram and the u-bahn stops, and only a couple of blocks from the Westbanhof. The hostel itself is something between a hostel and a hotel - it is very nicely decorated and furnished inside, and Vic and Adi do a very good job of making guests comfortable not just in the hostel but also in Vienna. The room are smaller and cozier which is nice, and although it is slightly pricier than your typical low-dollar hostel, it (a) is worth it and (b) prices out some of the troublemakers you get at some of the really cheap hostels. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to folks traveling through Vienna!

It's truly a premium hostel. Lovely staff and gorgeous interior. Feels very safe as only guests with a reservation can enter the Hostel. The bunk beds equipped with curtains, electric/USB plugs and a readin light are every solo traveler's dream. Thank you! 😊

Amazing location - close enough to the historical city center to take a 15-minutes walk, the Westbahnhof metro/tram station is equally close by, allowing for quick and easy access of every part of the city; there are many great spots for coffee and dining in the neighborhood too. The hostel staff is extremely nice and offers help whenever you may need it. Definitely recommend for solo travellers and hope I'll get a chance to visit again. :)

It was my first time at a hostel and it was a great experience! Beautifully designed and very clean hostel that is comfortable to live in but most importantly the great people who run it. The best place to stay in Vienna. I’m already waiting to come back here :)

We really liked the location in the center of Vienna, the bed, the bathroom, the cleanliness and the atmosphere. We even made new friends. Warm welcome from the hosts. Good service all in all.

Vic is so kind, he truly makes the hostel feel welcoming. The beautiful lounge area and great vibe encourages people to chat and hang out. I met awesome people through my stay and had so many interesting conversations. The rooms are beyond nice and reflect the mood of Vienna, honestly more comfortable than my apartment bed. Having access to a fridge and plates/cups/utensil was great for saving money shopping at the close night market. Super cool location in an artsy area but easy to get into the 1st district through a scenic walk or under 8min tram. The best hostel I’ve stayed at in a very long time!

Highly recommend this hostel! I booked a double for 3 nights (which the owner kindly upgraded as the upgrade room was free) - really clean with everything I needed. Located very close to public transport & felt like a very safe area. The owner gave great recommendations & was super helpful & friendly.

Good location near to the train from airport. Choices of cafes, supermarket around. Public transportation available to the main center just by walking 1 minutes from the hostel. You can also walk if you like. Owner Vic demonstrated hospitality similar to that you find in Asia. The most helpful service I have ever received in Europe without exaggeration! Bed sheet, comforter, pillow case, bath towel are all on top condition. No signs of wear and tear. They all smelled fresh from a quality laundry! Warm water in the bathroom never failed. Strong pressure of water and you can enjoy a nice refreshing shower. Very clean and no smell bathroom. Wifi in all locations of the hostel all had excellent signal! No dead spot. There is a living/dining room where free refreshments are offered like coffee tea sugar and this syrup that makes your drinking water smells good. The living room is my favorite spot as it was very cozy and will make you enjoy your relaxing time there. Beds/mattresses were in top condition. The hardness/softness was perfect. My only suggestion is just to have more hooks where towels in the room can hang and dry to avoid having a damp air.

I had an amazing time here! Every detail of the experience was well thought out, from having a Stairway to the top bunk to the thickness of the curtains. And Vick was extremely helpful in giving us good recommendations of where to go and what to do. VBH has been the best hostel experience I’ve had so far, it’s a well facilitated hostel ran by passionate individuals, full of fun people.

Nice, safe, cozy and clean hostel, but way to expensive. The neighborhood is a bit boring, but you can walk to the center.

Excellent hostel! Very clean and stylish, but at the same time it felt like home thanks to the amazing hospitality (plus things like carpets + no-shoes policy, or tea and coffee in the common room ;) ). Good location, close to u-bahn and trams (city centre in just 15 min), the district was also nice and peaceful. I spent there 3 nights, and I will definitely book it again when I am again in Vienna. Highly recommended! :)

Great place! Perfectly clean which was important because I'm allergic to dust. Rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. I couldn't find a single bad thing. Definitely will come back

Immaculate. Shared rooms but the quality is closer to a hotel than a hostel. Vic the hostel manager/operator was fantastic. I left an item in the establishment and Vic graciously offered to mail it to me. Service is great and check-in was super easy. A very high quality place to stay while in Vienna.

Best hostel I've ever been to. We fully booked the hostel for a group of 28 (study trip) and it was very nice to actually have rooms of 2 to 6 with a bathroom each, and bed curtains for privacy. The owners are very friendly and helpful, the breakfast is great and the entire hostel is super clean. The common room especially is very beautiful and a pleasant place for breakfast or to just relax a little. It's also very easy to get anywhere in the city with public transport from this location. Great experience.
