This restaurant was our best in Bordeaux!! Savoury buckwheat pancakes (gallettes) with delicious well balanced fillings. We had 'la biscaye' a vegetarian option and 'oslo terre neuve' filled with salmon and hake. They were both taste sensations. Our dessert crepe had perfect ganache, mint ice cream and mint liqueur. It was delicious. In addition to good wines and beers there are some fabulous ciders available. The menu is in several languages, the service was honest, friendly and gave just the right amount of attention. Just near Eglise Saint Pierre, it is in a great location and the prices are great value. Amongst so many restaurants offering very much the same French food this was a stand out!

Delicious food and delightful people! We arrived just as they opened and had such a lovely lunch. The chef came out to make sure we were happy with our meal and the host graciously welcomed everyone as the place filled up, smoothly shifting between three languages. (Or at least it sounded that way to me since I only speak one!) If you are craving a galette and interesting cider in Bordeaux I highly recommend A la Découverte de nos Saveurs.

I am really very disappointed with this place. The Guy is nice, but in muy opinion the quality of galletes are very bad.I ordered an Oslo gallete, it was supposed to be fish inside but It was totally empty! No fish inside. I would not recommmed it.

Really tasty place in the center of Bordeaux. We came across it by chance and found a hidden gem. Very kind personnel, and amazing creppes! We shared two of them and a sweet one as desert, and had a fantastic meal to continue visiting the city. Really recommendable!
