Clean place, decent food but with serious customer facing minuses.. We arrived 3 families for a 4 nights stay and planned to sky during day time and play some board games during the evenings. Instead, the host was very strict and closed the dinning room at 9PM. We could not stay there for a chat or something else. we've had to clear up the place at 9:30PM max. On the leisure side - There was no other lobby or place we could stay and have a chat .. kids played on the halls a bit and stayed locked in the rooms which were small really. and the bathroom sink was projected for Snow white dwarfs, so small it was. On the food side - you could have burger menu that came with chips, but you could not order chips alone :-(. And some other little things that were so obliviously outlining inflexibility of the staff and of the host. This made our stay bitter instead of joyful in a place which by all means suppose to be relaxing and tourist friendly. Worth knowing before going!

Best restaurant in Straja! 😍 I was amazed by how good the food was, they have vegan and vegetarian options which you can't easily find in other restaurants. The staff is super friendly and the restaurant is super nice and cozy. I had the vegetables wok and papanasi. I highly recommend this place. The chef is super passionate and you can see how much he enjoys cooking quality food for their customers. You have to dine here when in Straja! ❤💜🤎

Unparalleled friendliness of the staff, accompanied by excellent cuisine. Very difficult to achieve (and maintain!) such things on the top of the mountains, they certainly set quite high standards. Have known the premises for a long time, we’ll certainly return here!

it was a sensational choice, we certainly will come back, everything was top: optimal location, just steps away from the cable car, the owner and employees are very warm and helpfull, the rooms although not huge - were cosy, clean and warn. I'm not sure how they manage to do it, but here on the top of the mountain - the food is better than in 95% of highly rated restaurants in big cities. Fully recommend this place! PS: I had to take a photo of the desert, this is how the icecream looks :)

We came here for the food, based on previous reviews. We were not disappointed, it was very good. Big like for the trout with vegetables and rice. There was some excellent white wine sauce there with the rice. I highly recommend it.

The place is nice decorated and the staff is friendly and helpful. The food is ok. I had a veggie sour soup which was no the best, but the eggplant salad was good. Unfortunately they did not manage to solve the side dish issues. Everywhere in the world the side dish can be ordered separately, but here, it is not possible. They do not know how to charge the side dish separately.

The food is very tasty and generous portions. We came here 3 consecutive days for dinner and the last time we experienced something that made me give them only 4 stars. If there is very crowded, they are out numered, the service become very slow, we expected 45 minutes for our desert, which never came; in the end we requested to pay and the owner(which was also the waiter) didn’t even know that we haven’t receive the desert because our order never got into the kitchen.

This place was such a pleasant surprise, to find food this good at a very convenient price, especially for a mountain resort restaurant. I had the pumpkin soup and veal (“orajori de vita” in Romanian) which were extremely tasty and the meat was very well cooked. The staff is very nice and helpful and I also appreciated the hand-made touch to the menu.

You wouldn't expect such good food and well thought dishes on the top of the mountain. From plating to taste and choice of dishes, this restaurant doesnt disappoint.

We served dinner and the food was very good. You can leave your skis and boots at the entrance and the staff will provide you slippers.
