Our room with hideaway was clean and our children thought the hideaway room was great. The extra space made all the difference. The shower pressure was poor. Reception staff were lovely but the lift was out of order so I'm pleased my husband could carry the heavy case (packed for a family of four for three days) upstairs to our room and the hotel guest toilets were tired and not the cleanest...

We went as we were going into the park the next day, so wanted to be refreshed and just walk over. The room wasn’t a themed room, but very roomy, double for the adults, and unusual bunk beds different angles so the boys could easily see each other. Both had tv but only one remote, that didn’t matter to us as everyone brings their own tablet. The food in the restaurant was lovely but as they were very busy we waited over an hour to get it, but we got a free round of drinks for waiting for so long. So yes I would recommend as all the staff were lovely and friendly.

Stayed in themed room. Lovely bar person. Do not cater to intolerances well. Need a bit more education and information. That is, however, not at the fault of individual staff and more than nothing a training flaw. Also asked 1 employee directions and she just stared blankly at us.

Great location for the theme park. Stayed for 1 night and 1 day in the park. The room itself was nice, beds however are rock hard. Booked breakfast for the next day, had a bacon barm, but wasn't brilliant. Staff friendly though.

Disability parking not open lift not working had an awful time trying to get to room being disabled had to try walking up ramps to get to room after walking from from parking further away the rooms were clean but pictures were probably done when first opened as the interior for the executive suit were very old and worn the beds mattresses were in great need of renewing as had terrible night the place is very overpriced the only thing was good were all the staff who were really pleasant and helpful so 5* to them just a shame about the rest of the place maybe just pay for the park an stay elsewhere

I put a review here 4 years ago and since deleted it, so here's the new version I guess😂 The place is a nice place to stay, it's quiet, oddly when you consider it's in Warrington it still has its distance from civilization. Nothing has changed in over 4 year still terrible 4g and the WiFi is just as bad when it's busy. The food is nice, it has been consistent over the years. There's all sorts of rooms from princess rooms, to pirate ones and sweet ones (they're pretty cool to be fair) and normal family rooms too, as a contractor myself having myself or a colleague staying in a princess room is amusing and does bring us some laughs. There's a nice little chill out spot also pictured here too which is just after the entrance and the first speed bump, just follow the path it's about a 20 second walk from the road, nice place for a beer and a smoke and chill out, a small getaway for yourself without having to go any major distance, I've also added my own stick to the pile so feel free to add yours too👌 As a contractor who's here who's here to work around rhe area every now and again I can't comment on the park itself Credits to staff, I'd like to make 2, firstly is a woman called Lisa, she's welcoming, informative and helpful from the off, if you stay regularly you can have a laugh and have a good chat with her, she also rememebes faces and names, she's a huge credit to Gulliver's in many ways, hats off to you Lisa👏 The night porter, sorry buddy I can't remember your name the dude who's into watches, again, brilliant late night chat, social guy with alot to say too and interacts well with you as a customer too, mant pleasant chats with him and hopefully more to come

Themed swizzles room, sleeps 6. One opening window, not big. No fans, even the hotel staff was surprised how hot it was in the room. House keeping left a lot to be desired. The shower was ridiculous, very difficult to adjust the temperature so was hot or hotter. No seal on bottom of shower door so water going all over the floor. Eventually was offered another room with one less bed, no theme to it which was disappointing with the grandchildren. To compromise we had both rooms one to shower in one to sleep in and they weren't next door to each other. No cooked breakfast on offer. It was a croissant an apple and a warm small carton of fruit juice, the children got the same but with a cereal bar. Tea and coffee facilities in the bedroom but only 2 cups, nothing for the children! The manager gave us a few bottles of water for the inconvenience. Would i stay in the hotel again NO. Spoilt the whole break we stayed for 2 nights

We stayed in the Princess theme room, room was decorated well but bits do require touching up it a few places. Bed was advertised as a king size however was only a double in the room, shower also was leaking. Kids really enjoyed the room. Would definitely recommend the borthday package if celebrating a birthday. Daughter was over the moon with the character visit to the room. Was very pricey (booked 2 weeks before due to come) however when checking the week before it was £150+ less then what I paid. Was offered a few things from the manager but still lost out on money. Overall the stay was good just wish I had booked later then I did would have saved money.

Amazing value, entertainment staff and perfect for small children up to teenage. With the cost of the room you get free entry to park, there’s free entrainment on a night for children and free meal for the family. We will be back again soon. As a family ours the best place we have stayed in the U.K. highly recommend by our family. My kids loved it

Stayed in the lodge, I was expecting a log cabin type thing 🤔, (giant shed) I would really suggest a door on the toilet and pay your cleaning staff more money so they can clean better. No info on arrival, booked an online package had to keep referring back to it for information as none was Forth coming from reception, food package wasn't explained properly, we waited in out room as we thought it would be delivered.

The room is very comfortable, and the staff is nice. The only downside is that the breakfast is quite unpleasant. It might be advisable to consider letting go of the chef.

We have stayed at all four Gulliver's theme parks now and loved every time. The hotel here does not have as much character as the pod/caravan options but it is well equipped. The set up for kids is great and they loved it. Great base for a weekend at the theme park and highly recommended.

Location - hotel located on the site of a children's theme park gulliver's world. No children at the hotel, at the time of my stay. Location wise there isn't a lot around, other than the theme park. 3 out of 5 because unless you're visiting the theme park, or love shopping at Asda, there isn't much to do in the local area. Rooms - but dated but had a smart TV with Netflix which is always a bonus. Spacious and clean. Bed was large and comfortable and shower nearly blew my head off it was that poweful. 5 out of 5 Cleanliness - couldn't fault, painting going on whilst I was there but not much of an inconvenience. 5 out of 5 Facilities - everything expected, lift didn't work though, not sure if this was due to the painting. 3 out of 5, what was there was great, but no gym/pool/games room etc. Food - standard pub grub, but lovely nonetheless. 4 out of 5 Staff - brilliant, friendly, professional, attentive, all seemed local given the accents, and nothing was too much trouble. 5 out 5. Personal score - 25/30 or 83% Google score - 18/20 or 90% Overall - 43/50 or 86% No photos, sorry. Update (only just wrote initial review so Google won't allow me to write another (although this is my second stay, hence worthy of 2 reviews IMO)). Much the same as the first time I stayed earlier in the month (Nov 2023), other than I had to literally pick myself off the floor at the room I was allocated. Opening the door into a love hearts themed room with room for a primary school of kids (exaggerated actual capacity is 2 adults, 4 children), was more than a little surprising. I took this in the spirit of fun, but as the room was advertised and purchased as a 'standard double', although technically an upgrade, I could see how some may take issue with this. I've taken a few pictures to offer context to this update and inform others of the layout/decor. NB THE PHOTOS ARE FROM THE SECOND STAY. FOR THE FIRST STAY I WAS IN A STANDARD ROOM

Organised a surprise Super Stay and Play for our 3 grandchildren. Absolutely brilliant time had by all from start to finish. Friendly staff both at hotel and in park. Hotel clean and no issues in parking. Packing was well worth the money. All very well organised. Evening meal and entertainment were excellent. Only criticism would be the mis-understanding at breakfast as it did reference you could add additional items if you wished but we were advised we not able to and bacon barms were for adults and cereal for kids.

So I have come here every year for 10 years and I’m so disappointed this year it’s just been a shambles the room was filthy boggies snot on walls mirrors marks wear and tear in room marks all over walls furniture. Tv doesn’t work shower doesn’t I’m in princess 132 room so I payed for extra for this princess room. The breakfast is bacon still oinking sausage no better and on a nice stale tea cake, every night on my stay and play package we had same meal chicken burger and chips that takes over a hour to come. Rides even with fast pass are a joke, waiting times ridiculous. No one seems to care this year it’s really really gone down hill it’s shocking and needs some serious attention. It is dated expensive for food on park filthy restaurants long ques I’ve hated every min this year. My only praise and positive thing I can say is to a staff member called Lisa and Helen that really care and are helpful. The big boss Craig basically told me to stop telling other guests about how bad my stay is or leave no compensation or refund for my terrible experience that being 2 times of 2 extra cleaning of the room broke tv he was called craig he doesn’t care and is arrogant condescending and thinks that his room is acceptable because £400 for 2 nights in a shabby room is cheap. This hotel needs to seriously relook and invest in its rooms and main manager before it looses loyal customers.

The staff at the hotel were unorganised and rude. Events that we had paid for and were scheduled didn't happen with no notice or apology. When I complained after I did not even receive a response. Absolutely poor. Happy to take our money and let the children down but zero communication.

Came on a coach trip .food choice was so poor everything was with chips no healthy options at all no way you could amend it to pick anything different basically chicken nuggets or chicken burger . Waiting over a hour and a half for food to be served the room we ate in was dirty and tables unclean . We ordered for pudding chocolate fudge cake to then wait again to be served a cheap still frozen chocolate gateau . When I said to the waiter it was frozen he said shall I microwave it I’d had enough by then so I said leave it . Then was actually shocked for him to take it away and give it to another person I said not sure you will want ti eat they I’ve stuck my fingers in it the waiter left it . Found the whole hotel needs an upgrade and the staff just couldn’t serve us In a acceptable time and food very poor even how this was a coach trip I would avoid this hotel in the future and hopefully others have a better stay then we did . One good thing was a couple of staff memo who was very polite especially the lady who greeted us and a lady who served us drinks and the bar

Hotel manager v rude. Told me they do not have a booking for me, despite showing them evidence of my payment. She then refused to provide me with evidence, claiming they do not have letterheaded paper and that their printer was out of ink!

We stayed in August 2021 so this may be out of date but we were really disappointed - room was not clean, smelt of urine on the first night but in fairness they did clean it the following day and it was slightly better our second night. Food was poor quality, and very expensive. We were on ground floor so very noisy. Handy for the park but overall very tired. Breakfast was just a prepackaged roll and an apple. Not going to go back!

Staff very helpful on reception. Waiting on staff in restuarant had not got a clue people returning food because it was cold and staff were wandering room asking people if the meal they were carrying was theirs. At breakfast people were taking one mouthful then leaving it because it was stone cold again.

Stayed here back in June. Stayed on a business trip, but if I was to stay here with my kids they would’ve loved the rooms as they’re all themed. My one had a tree house theme. All clean, close amenities nearby.

My first experience at the hotel Park with the little one. It was brilliant. We had our own little Dino cabin which had all you needed for the night and was really quirky and cosy! . We stayed after bonfire night which was perfect location with included entertainment. Money well spent and we all slept really well.

It's a very sweet hotel part of Gulliver's land. Lovely staff and wonderful building. Not an extremely posh quite casual and laid back. Stopped on my way through the area and was fairly easy to find. If you are arriving late (I arrived at 10:30pm) you will need to drive into Gulliver's land and ask for entrance at the intercom on the gate. Altogether a short but lovely stay. I would really recommend this hotel to anyone couple, single or family.

Door doesn't close fully to the room so a bit of force is needed. The sink was a bit loose and was able to be moved. The wifi is not the best. However there is a nice balcony for some of the rooms upstairs and the bed was relatively comfortable.

Good room for the price comfortable bed. Clean. Haven't been in park yet. Catering is minimal, only to be used as an emergency in future. Best to leave site, but not really convenient to do this for breakfast with children.

Staff great. Rooms great. Warm and clean. Only food they have though is pizza, deserts and kids menu and they'd run out of pizza, so don't have high hopes of a family meal in the hotel. Our room was close to what seemed a large tent and bbq area which was pretty noisy in the evenings.
