Review
based
on
experience
with
Physiotherapist
Kyle
Ferrigan
**
I
recently
had
the
opportunity
to
undergo
physiotherapy
for
my
ACL
with
Kyle,
whose
reputation
as
a
great
physiotherapist
on
Instagram
intrigued
me.
However,
my
personal
experience
with
Kyle
left
me
with
mixed
feelings.
It
became
evident
that
Kyle's
level
of
effort
and
dedication
showcased
on
social
media
was
primarily
focused
on
gaining
views
and
catering
to
high-profile
athletes
who
could
potentially
provide
him
with
exposure.
As
someone
who
was
not
a
high-exposure
athlete,
I
noticed
a
notable
difference
in
the
approach
Kyle
took
towards
my
physiotherapy.
While
Kyle
did
provide
treatment,
I
felt
that
he
did
not
demonstrate
the
same
level
of
care
and
attention
to
detail
as
he
did
with
his
"high-profile"
athletes.
This
discrepancy
left
me
questioning
whether
I
was
receiving
equal
quality
of
treatment
compared
to
those
athletes
who
received
his
full
attention.
During
my
sessions
with
Kyle,
I
observed
a
pattern.
He
would
conduct
short
consultations
at
the
beginning
of
each
visit,
his
attitude
towards
my
concerns
was
often
dismissive,
and
he’d
quickly
pass
me
off
to
his
assistant.
Unfortunately,
Kyle
did
not
invest
the
time
to
ensure
that
I
was
performing
the
exercises
correctly.
Though
there
were
assistants
available
to
help,
they
were
often
occupied
with
other
clients,
resulting
in
a
significant
amount
of
waiting
and
standing
around
before
I
could
proceed
with
the
next
exercise
or
receive
assistance.
In
my
initial
consultation,
Kyle
presented
a
comprehensive
plan
outlining
the
process
of
returning
to
sports.
He
emphasized
the
rigorous
testing
he
conducts
to
ensure
proper
progress
and
safety.
However,
throughout
my
six-plus
months
of
therapy
with
Kyle,
I
found
myself
repeating
the
same
exercise
routine
from
months
two
to
six.
Furthermore,
during
my
final
consultation,
I
was
surprised
when
Kyle
suggested
I
return
to
sports
without
undergoing
any
testing
(no
strength
tests,
balance
tests,
running,
jumping,
or
any
other
form
of
assessment).
This
contradicted
his
earlier
emphasis
on
the
importance
of
these
tests.
It
left
me
questioning
why
he
appeared
to
prioritize
thorough
checks
on
Instagram
but
failed
to
provide
the
same
level
of
attention
and
care
to
his
paying
clients.
In
conclusion,
my
experience
with
Kyle
as
a
physiotherapist
was
somewhat
disappointing.
While
his
reputation
on
social
media
portrays
him
as
a
dedicated
professional,
I
found
that
his
commitment
and
attention
to
detail
varied
depending
on
the
client's
level
of
exposure
or
potential
career
acceleration.
As
someone
looking
to
recover
from
a
knee
injury
and
return
to
sports,
I
had
expected
a
higher
level
of
personalized
care
and
individualized
treatment.
