If you're able bodied, this is a nice place to be. If you're blind, have a hard time getting around or bedridden, this is a lonely, desolate place. My parent was left in their room all day long without much interaction. They were good about serving food promptly but pharmaceutical and physical therapy was willy-nilly and they left the medicine 'ball' hooked in your arm all day long! You had to ask numerous times for someone to get a bath.... my parent was in the same clothes for 3 days and I had to start getting snarky about it. One patient they had, had no privacy, his bed was in full view of the nurse's station and I couldn't tell if he was dead or sleeping, poor guy. He was left day after day in the same position. Don't dare ask to put anything in the fridge! You'll only see it again if you go up and ask for it, even though you've left instructions on distribution of foods at certain times. The nurses spend a lot of time up at the station to talk about personal life or non-stop playing on the phone. The main nurse who delivered the medicine ball was always texting. It could've been work related, or not, I'm not sure. But always had the phone out. Another thing is, you'll never see a doctor here, only the nurse practitioner. She shows up the day you come in and the day you leave. Otherwise both are a figment of the imagination. I don't know of a solid rehab place to recommend but I would not recommend this place, unless you can get up and walk around and do for yourself, then it's like being in a hotel.

Very poor care. My father was in this facility for a month. There were medication errors, he developed a bed sore with no intervention until Family got upset, weight loss, not following plan of care and DON lied about bathing. He did not have a bath for two weeks. We hired care to be with him in the mornings and evenings when family could not be present. Very disappointed with the facility and care. Not a safe place!

This place is the biggest let down! Some of the worst care given. Repeatedly trying to give my dad the incorrect medication. Repeatedly denying incident reports, zero communication between staff. Was packed up to go home when facility was supposed to transport to surgical center. 2 hr late in picking patient up from another Dr appt where ice pack was out of ice 1 day post surgery. Left up in wheelchair for several hours without his back brace post fall with pelvis and back fractures. If you want peace of mind for care of your loved one, do NOT bring them here.

ONLY GAVE 3 STARS because of THERAPY STAFF- The experience The Center at Waterfront provided exceeded expectations in regard to Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy! HOWEVER, I am very underwhelmed and upset with the services of the Social Workers, and administrative staff. For starters, the social workers are not on the same page with the actual client and attempt to sign up the client for services that were never approved. Additionally, the social workers are never around to answer questions pertaining to the client's case, nor will they follow up on missed phone calls. My client never received an exit plan and was not informed of the "next steps" after leaving. It has been a week since my client was discharged, and the social worker has yet to return my client's calls regarding her outpatient physical therapy assignment. So, to be clear if you choose The Center at Waterfront, you will receive exceptional therapy services and state-of-the-art facilities, however, the additional services provided will be greatly insufficient. If management would like to give me a call or contact me, I would appreciate it. I don't expect it to happen seeing as I called you 3 days ago and have yet to receive a returned phone call.

Very beautiful facility! Nursing staff and PT/OT staff were absolutely great and very kind to my 92 yr old mother after hip surgery. However!! Should you call Meredith, the director of physical therapy, be prepared to be rushed off the phone as she is 'too busy" to address any concerns you may have. This happened more than once. ZERO warm fuzzy /caring attitude to have the position she holds. At time of discharge, Melanie was the most helpful, kind and loving person to assist you and help meet your needs!! Overall, great facility. If not for Meredith, I would've given five stars.

This place is the worst, and practices borderline elderly abuse. Understaffed on every shift, with rude nurses , (Victoria comes to mind) that act like they can't be bothered with helping people. They will let people sit in dirty soiled diapers for hours. The doctors here literally work remotely and mail it in every day. If you want your family member to suffer at the hands of incompetent, disgruntled employees after the hospital discharges them, this is the perfect place.

I highly recommend this facility! The staff were all really nice! Its very clean and has a nice ambiance to it. I felt very comfortable leaving my mom in their care. Her therapy team was the best and her nurses and nurse assistants were incredibly empathetic to my mom and my family. Our family even got to play bingo with mom! I'm so thankful for everything they did for us!

The nurses are absolutely amazing, the environment is as good as a fancy hotel, the food is restaurant level good. I'd give them 100 stars if I could. Not only is their customer service amazing but they're also accommodating and actually try their best to work with you. Would recommend 100%

Cannot praise the facility and outstanding staff enough. Received excellent care. The meals were delicious, varied and choices. From Nurses, aides, PT , administrators were excellent. I stayed three weeks. Very grateful for their care.

The facility is first class but what set it apart for us is the caring and kind staff. My 84 year old mother stayed here for 3 weeks after her surgery, and every person that interacted with her (and me) treated her with kindness and gentleness. Her physical therapist, Elina, especially stood out in her commitment to help my mother heal. We had a great experience and would highly recommend.

I couldn't be more pleased with the care I received after suffering a broken neck. They took me from being a complete invalid to being able to walk and feed myself and all the things I needed to be able to return home and survive with my wife's help. All of the staff was invariably cheerful no matter how messy the job. This wonderful attitude extended all the way from the top to the bottom levels and I'm sure had much to do with the progress I was able to make. This is a first rate facility staffed with wonderful people and I would recommend it to anyone needing in patient physical and occupational therapy.

I was very happy with a lot of the staff. Allot of the night nurses and aides were just mean. I was on the third floor and I was on drugs for back surgery but getting them was terrible. I couldn't get ice water at night. Now I really liked Perry in PT and we got a long very good. Was really sad when I was discharged that I couldn't see him anymore. I am thankful for him giving me the gumption to get it done.
