Overall a good experience. It appears to be an old hotel building that's been remodeled a lot. It feels nice and new and old and not nice at the same time. Some of it is just cosmetic. Feels a little bit like a lipstick on a pig situation. At least that's what I felt at first. However, it really was a good experience overall and excellent for the price. Service was great and everything adequate. Booked through Hotwire and it was VERY cheap.

It is clear they are doing some remodeling. The name if the hotel has changed to Comfort Suites. Rooms are very spacious & could use more furniture such as a sofa sleeper. Handicap room on 1st floor was big but didn't appear to be updated yet. There was a gash in the bathroom door & the sink didn't have a bottom. It was open with a towel wrapped around the piping. The lobby, pool & breakfast are have been remodeled & look great.

The facility looked nice, but for my first stay, the hotel did not impress. The iron did not function, and a call to the front desk was not returned until after 10 pm. The hot water in the shower also did not work, and the mattresses were too firm for my tastes. Everything else seemed okay.

This was a very quiet hotel. It seemed to be far enough off the freeway to alleviate that road noise, but also seems well insulated from other outside noise. We couldn't hear any room neighbors, either, but weren't sure how close any other guests were to us. Bed was comfortable, though linens were a bit rough. The room was clean as was the bathroom. The internet worked well in room 103. Staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

I have stayed at this hotel for many years. The staff has always tried to help me when I was not happy with something. Morning breakfast is good. Rooms are quiet. Internet is better then most places. Hotel is in a better part of Wichita. If it wasn't for the rapidly decaying hallways and some of the rooms I would have given this hotel 5 stars.

Location was nice and fairly close to the hotel the convention was in that we were attending; about 15 minutes from old tow n with quick access to highway 96 which can get you around the city fast. I used to live in Wichita and have had family stay here while visiting. Rooms are nice and clean. Comes with a mini fridge to store food as well as a microwave and coffee maker. Typical set up with large bed, chairs and desk. The front desk manager was very friendly and provided excellent customer service.

Hotel had construction on site, didn't hear much from them. Room was a little dated but still nice. Pool area was pretty cool and lobby was nice and welcoming. My room had a decent bed and tv, it had a big fat pleather lazyboy recliner that was awesome. I would have given 4 stars if the tv had been newer and larger. For the price i got on hotwire, this place was wonderful. After finding out what the normal rate was, it was 3 stars.

Loved the hotel but there is an African American woman that works the front desk she is rude cuts vegetables and prepares her food while customers are waiting for room or to be heloes!!! I left a cardigan in the pool area and she stole it!! Was supposed to comp a 2 queen bed room for me after staying 2 weeks and she did not even though we spent quite a bit of money and she was very disrespectful to me and foul mouthed to my children if they interrupted her "food prep" time
