During
my
stay,
I
called
the
front
desk
to
inquire
if
someone
could
come
fix
the
air
conditioning
unit
in
my
room
that
wasn't
working
and
I
was
told,
"there's
not
a
maintenance
person
available
with
any
knowledge
of
a/c
units.
You
can
try
calling
back
in
the
morning."
Since
the
unit
in
my
room
couldn't
be
fixed,
I
asked
to
switch
rooms
and
was
told
no.
Not
willing
to
sleep
in
the
overheated
room,
I
chose
to
leave
and
get
a
room
at
a
different
hotel.
The
following
day,
I
discovered
that
Woodspring
Suites
charged
me
$250
for
a
plastic
bag
they
stated
was
placed
over
the
smoke
detector
in
the
room.
When
I
called
to
question
the
charge,
I
was
greeted
by
disrespectful
staff
who
put
me
on
hold
for
45
minutes.
I
asked
to
speak
with
the
manager,
who
was
equally
disrespectful
and
did
nothing
to
remedy
the
problem
or
refund
me
the
$250
that
was
charged.
This
hotel
and
its
staff
members
are
the
epitomy
of
poor
customer
service.
