This
is
my
experience
from
last
August.
I
went
to
the
birth
care
center
past
midnight
when
my
water
broke.
My
first
nurse
was
okay.
She
wasn’t
the
warmest
but
she
eventually
warmed
up.
However,
she
didn’t
mention
several
things
for
example,
if
my
husband
was
hungry,
that
there
was
a
nourishment
room
where
he
can
get
snacks.
That
would
have
been
nice
for
my
husband
during
our
stay.
She
didn’t
offer
me
a
sitz
bath
after
my
delivery
(
another
nurse
asked
me
about
that
at
the
main
hospital
when
I
was
getting
discharged.
I
was
at
the
main
hospital
for
a
few
days
due
to
complications).
None
of
the
nurses
except
for
her
mentioned
to
me
a
sitz
bath.
I
had
several
nurses
during
my
stay
but
one
of
my
main
nurses
attempted
to
draw
my
blood
(my
arms
were
already
used
many
times
for
blood
draws
over
the
course
of
several
days)
and
she
said
she
didn’t
feel
that
good
about
doing
it
because
I
didn’t
have
a
good
vein
for
it
at
the
time,
so
I
said
let’s
not
poke
me
unnecessarily
and
get
another
nurse.
But
she
attempted
to
draw
my
blood
and
no
success
and
now
I
have
little
scars
from
it.
There
were
times,
my
bed
pads
had
a
decent
amount
blood
on
it
and
the
nurse
noticed
it
because
I
can
see
she
saw
it.
But
she
never
offered
to
change
it.
My
husband
actually
changed
them
for
me.
My
baby
was
in
the
NICU
for
several
days
after
birth
and
there
was
a
female
employee
at
the
NICU
who
was
not
a
nurse
but
possibly
a
social
worker/
patient
advocate,
and
her
behavior
was
very
rude.
She
approached
me
because
I
was
in
a
wheelchair
and
said
I
shouldn’t
be
still
feeling
in
pain.
Maybe
she
meant
it
in
a
way
that
if
I
was,
I
need
to
tell
the
nurses.
But
she
was
harsh
and
rude.
I
did
share
my
comments
and
experience
about
my
care
when
I
received
a
follow
up
call
from
the
hospital
after
being
discharged.
But
these
are
some
instances
that
I
may
not
have
mentioned
and
that
made
my
experience
not
that
great.
Some
of
the
nurses
I
met
were
kind
and
the
birth
care
suite
and
my
room
in
the
main
hospital
were
nice
for
delivering
and
after
care.
