The place is nice location, a bit busy. Atmosphere a bit loud for me but will be cool to others I just like quieter places my opinion. The waiter was nice but could have been a bit more present. First they tried seating us near the kitchen, ummmm that's a no for me so we again waited to be seated a different place. Food you cook the meat yourself cool spot overall just need to do a bit better with the service, I liked it though.

What wasn't good about this place. Great staff nice and fast. And it being my first time they were awesome enough to explain to me and my wife everything and we had the best dining experience we had in a long time. Even let us stay a little longer then the allotted time. The food was excellent everything perfectly marinated and seasoned. Just a bang in your mouth with every bite. Then cooking your own food on a grill built into your table I mean come on how cool is that!!! Excellent place excellent food will be going back alot!!! Bringing all three kids next time 😂. Keep up the awesome work guys

For about 10 years, my husband and I have been going to Iron Age in Rockville. This was our first time trying the "Baltimore" location and we were not disappointed. We showed up around 7PM and had to wait an hour and 15 minutes for a table. (Our wait was originally estimated to be 1.5 - 2 hours, so we were happy with this). The wait was definitely worth it. (When we left around 10:30PM, there were lots of open tables, so maybe we wouldn't have had a wait if we came later). When we arrived at our table, our grill was on and the table was set with sides and sauces - saving us valuable eating time. Our waiter was very attentive in the beginning. He brought us water and got us refils. Eventually he left extra water with us and stopped coming by as often when he realized we were cooking the meat ourselves. He brought out orders promptly and was very friendly. There was some confusion when he thought we were done ordering. So he disappeared for 20 mins. We were worried we wouldn't be able to make a last order since we were past the table time limit by the time he came back, but he was more than happy to get us the last dish. The meat options are great here. We enjoyed all of their steak as well as their brisket and pork belly. We also liked that the portions weren't too large. This meant we could order a variety of meats before getting too full. When you come with only 2 people, this is a huge advantage. The atmosphere here is great - much better than the Iron Age in Rockville. The tables aren't cramped together and you can actually hear the people at your table. They have barriers set up between booths. I also like that the grills suck up the smoke rather than having overhead vents. This means no greasy smoke blowing on you. I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ in the area. You may want to come on a weekday or wait until after the dinner rush on the weekend if you don't want to wait such a long time. But we're glad we waited it out and we can't wait to go back! (Sorry I didn't take more photos of the food. I was too busy enjoying it!)

I was in the mood for a unique spot to check out and I'm glad we ended up here! For a fixed price, you get all the meat and sides you can eat for 90 minutes. We ended up trying out the steak, bulgogi, and two kinds of chicken. Everything was delicious and cooking the meat at your table adds a fun dynamic to the meal. The sides were delicious as well, and they bring a ton of different sauces and dips to try out. Service was very friendly, and our waiter did an excellent job of walking us through the unique process.

1st come 1st serve. 5min wait time to be seated & 1hr time limit after seated which starts after your 1st meal order is placed.. but they don’t pressure you about it. Weekends is Dinner all day long.. no matter the time you come in. The lemon chicken is the best. All u can eat & u have to cook your own food.. which I loved. It was 3 adults,1 child & our bill was $150.. which is really pricey but the experience was nice. If you or your loved one isn’t into new environments.. this isn’t for you or them. My gma & son complained the whole time 🤣 My Mom loved it.

Me and my family went here on a sunday afternoon, about 8 of us, and we only waited 10 minutes to be seated... I've passed this place a lot of times but never thought of going in. This place was quite alright. The waiters and waitresses were very polite and did everything they were asked to do. They bring the food out to your table just the way you want it. They put the food on the grill for you, and you take over from there as far as cooking it to your liking. The chicken, porkbelly, garlic steak, shrimp and all was excellent. Seasoned perfectly from the time they bring it out and until the timed it's cook. They also have a bar and drinks as well. Nice atmosphere and all around great eating. We definatley will be going back again.

We're there around 5.15 Saturday night, the waiting time is 10 mins and we're seated right afterward. The table was set with some banchan and Iron Age version green salad. Now we're ready to order, after you scan on the QR code for menu! Remember, only 2 meats at a time. So get your list ready and roll! We got steamed rice, steamed egg, and started with iron age soy beef steak and shrimp, and the list still long, pork belly, beef brisket, pork steak, garlic pork steak, seasoned steak, hawaiian beef bulgogi, spicy squid and spicy squid plus a japchae. Wow! That's a lot of meat! If you have a lil one, don't worry they'll bored there's a nonstop entertainment with KPop music, and they started to enjoy dancing while we're eating. Our server was very pleasant and helpful, always ready to get what you need. The restrooms check was ok too, though through dinner peak time, it's getting wet and messy but all still there like papers and soap. So you'll get what you need just be careful of slippery wet floor. Tips: they change the grill plate for pork belly and bee brisket, and it takes time, so manage your order in advance for a smooth transition in between.

Iron Age is an all you can eat Korean Barbecue restaurant. They offer a make your own food dining experience where raw food is brought to your table and you cook it over an open grill flame. Sides are also available upon request and they give you sauces to dip everting in. Overall the service was excellent and the food came out quick. It was really fun to cook the food as well and made for a memorable dining experience.

There's nothing bad to say about this place! Iron Age aims to please. The children and I dined here 2 weeks ago, and it wasn't super crowded, but we had to wait 10-15 minutes to be seated. The server was sweet, I forgot his name, but he was great!!! Great recommendations 👌🏽 We ate as much as we could as it is an "all you can eat" styled bar-b-que. He did encourage us to get more, but I had to stop after our 3rd round of chicken! We ate squid, roasted veggies, spicy chicken(2X), lemon chicken and shrimp (2x), kimchi, and rice also! I had Korean wine, and the children had Coke to drink. For $30 a person you can eat so so much, and if you're under 11, it's cheaper! Great experience. We will be returning!

This place is dark and has a ton of rules. It is an all-you-can-eat place where meats, beef, chicken shrimp, and pork in a variety of flavors, and rice are included and you cook the meat yourself. Drinks and desserts are a la carte. Your entire party must be there before you can be seated. No one can join your table once you start cooking. Our server was not incredibly helpful. And when we asked questions he was perfectly happy with saying I don't know instead of going to find out. For example, We asked what kind of dressing was on the salad. His reply was "oh, I am not sure". And that was it. He asked if we wanted rice noodles and asked how many our table of 8 wanted. We said six. He then said. I can only bring one serving per grill at a time. So why ask how many? The food to be grilled was well seasoned but he provided no instructions on how to cook it despite the fact we said we had never been there before. Thankfully, I know how to grill but others had raw/partially cooked food on their plates. The drinks wete good. We had plum wine and peach and Mango soju. They changed the grills out during the meal and reached over our plates while doing so without saying excuse me. They only provided small amounts of sauce for each person so we had to keep asking for more. When we asked veggies to grill they brought ONE slice of green pepper, red pepper zucchini, and squash for a table of 8 people. And would not bring more until that was grilled. He asked about the check before asking if we wanted dessert. They added a 20% gratuity for subpar service. You are given 1.5 hours to grill and eat. It was not a horrible experience but not a place I would rush back to.

Worth for price. Have been twice - the first time our server was Jay, and we had an excellent time - he was so helpful, cooked the meat and cut it consistently, and always remembered to bring dishes. The second time we had a different server, who forgot to bring dishes consistently, didn’t help us cook at all, and was generally not the kindest or more attentive. On average, service was mid. Would also not recommend coming here with a large group - they don’t let you order too much at once and cooking the meats is pretty slow, so you might run out of time before everyone is full. With a smaller (1-4) group, this isn’t a problem at all. Food is good for its price. Have tried the entire menu now - Hawaiian bulgogi, spicy squid, and soy marinated steak are definitely my top picks consistently, and the only sides I like are the selection of pickles, the salad, and the vegetables. All in all, worth a visit if you’re feeling meat, but cross your fingers for good service. Also, be warned that the interior is super dark and very loud. Maybe fun to visit with friends, but wouldn’t recommend for a first date or anything. They also have a really fun birthday special! Show them ID and they’ll sing to you and give you some cake.

Came in for a birthday w/ 6 people and had to sit at two separate tables for 2 burners due to their "strict" seating rules. Halfway through our meal, we noticed less than the "required" 7 people sitting at their double and triple burners! This is terrible management! Meat was pretty good. The steam egg portion was weak. Update: towards the end of lunch. Our friend slipped on the wet floor, hit her head, and fainted. The restaurant put a caution wet sign AFTER she fell. Tbf, she had a few drinks. Manager Lee knew about it, but never came to assist (he actually dismissed it for being before the unmarked wet spot and suggested that we review their cameras). This manager lacks empathy and was extremely rude. Our waiter Xin was excellent; however, I'll have to give a 1 star for restaurant services overall.

This is an all you can eat Korean BBQ and all side dishes are included in your price! My favorite of their side dishes were the rice cakes! It is 90 mins from the start of your first meat order. Our waiter was very attentive and although you have to cook the meat yourself, he helped us out when he saw we were struggling. He was always stopping by after we finished our current meat and asking us what our next meat order would be! Just beware that not all meats can be cooked together. There is tons of parking and the atmosphere is very casual and has a dark ambiance.

What a great experience! The food was so delicious and never ending. The sides were tasty and decorative. All the food came out pretty quick once sitting down. Our server # 26 did a great job, making sure our waters were filled and our meats were flipped. Very polite and friendly service all around

Iron Age is the BEST! We’ve visited countless times, initially traveling to the Rockville location prior to this one’s opening. The staff are top notch, helping with the cooking/cutting if you need it, but they can also spot the pros who know what they’re doing (like us). I could come for the salad alone, but their quality and variety of meats make this place special. You’re really getting a deal for $30 when all meats and sides are all you can eat! We bring all our family and friends here when they visit, and it’s always a favorite.

This is my favorite restaurant. Lots of options of meat. I just didn't do a 5 star because you can't do a planned reservation on the phone. 4 friends and I came to celebrate my birthday and had a great time.

Incredible experience with our host Hao. They educated us on proper cooking techniques. It was a pleasure to visit. Would definitely visit again. The bulgogi and Soy steak was perfection!

Delicious food. We ordered: chicken, beef, and steak bulgogi; Salad, rice, and japchae. Beverage ordered Bahama Mama and Snow Perfect Sake. Great drinks for occasional drinker. Kpop video is regularly played on big screen. They don't have a dessert menu. The only dessert (cheesecake) goes to birthday person. You are not allowed to take leftovers home. In other words, they don't have a take home container available for customers.

Please do not go to this restaurant. We were placed at a table where the grill did not fully work, and when we asked to move, they were unable to accommodate us. The server did his best to help us but if the grill is broken, the table should be put out of service. It took almost 15 minutes for each round of meat to fully cook, and after it was cooked, the meat was dry and over cooked. It was clear why Iron Age had a shorter wait time than the other BBQ places nearby

Th beef bulgolgi, spicy pork bulgolgi, and garlic steak were amazing. I came in with a party of six, and we were able to finish >10 plates, with 3 of those plates being beef bulgolgi. It was so tender and had the perfect sweetness. It totaled to ~$37 per person and it was entirely worthwhile. The plain pork belly was also good, with the brisket being average. The kimchi and japchae were also great (with our table getting about 10 bowls of japchae). The time was restricted to 90 minutes, and although we were slightly rushed by the end, we were all fairly full. Our server was also really great with his service and our many orders.
