We stayed 2 nights at Room 216. Nice and spacious room with comfortable beds. Good parking space and helpful security and concierge. Fast checked in and out. Delicious breakfast as well. Very good and friendly service. Nothing to complain about.

A city hotel at the heart of Jogyakarta with lovely buffet and well-equipped rooms. A bit noisy because it sits literally on the main road. Nice decor, friendly staff.

The room was very clean and large Located nearby city and malioboro Breakfast was delicious with local foods such as : soto, lontong, bubur, Also jajanan pasar : lupis, klepon, Staffs were so friendly Please make the price room more competitive with the same star in Yogya (pricey, too expensive)

Rooms were in its classical style. Quiet, Spacious, nice view. Lobby was spacious and felt a little luxurious although you can tell that it’s already past it’s prime. Couldn’t get any more central location than this hotel. Almost quite literally in the middle of all the best spots in Jogja. Staff was nice and friendly.

We checked in to a deluxe room, very big room, with a complete amenities. It's not a new building but very well maintained. Staffs are really nice. The coconut coffee from downstairs has "interesting taste", a must try. Breakfast was wonderful, many choices and the coffee was also very nice. Location is also quite close proximity to Malioboro, with less traffic since it's still in the main road. Will definitely become my first choice in jogja.

We had spent four nights in this hotel. The things we enjoyed: - the service - the breakfast - the pool - location - live music Their service was outstanding. All of our queries were answered and resolved promptly and pleasantly. Things that could be improved: - the "cardio room" Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

A Superb choice of hotel at Yogyakarta. The staff is responsive and nice, ready to help you anytime. The room is clean and comfy that face to the Tugu , so you have a nice view of Yogyakarta from your window room. I love the food here. Recommended to stay here if you visit Yogyakarta.

Did need update on the rooms. But location was super. Staff were nice . Breakfast basic. Eat outside lots of tasty local food to explore.

I always feel homey when I stay at Santika Hotel. You have great hospitality to their guests. The amenities still complete as usual. Near to strategic area.

The hotel is located in convenient location near city centre, staff are friendly and helpful. However , the hotel is rather old and not well kept, nice and grand lobby but the rooms and amenities need major makeover. 1. The shower area in the room leaks, water leaked out into the room and even on the corridor outside. 2. Wifi reception is weak and intermittent on higher floors. 3. Aircond temperature cannot be controlled, only the fan speed is adjustable. 4. In room TV is very aged with blurry images, only few TV stations, no Internet connection, YouTube or Netflix 5. The electric kettle is old and dirty, with scums and dirt inside. 6. Breakfast choices are just OK but not great, but the staff is great and helpful.

Old building but nice, beds need to be renewed. Good bathroom. But door man were not helpful. Less Waiters during breakfast time makes service slow, food was below average, 90% Indonesian food not much other options.

5 stars for a stay, 3 stars for parking, really really cramped. Food and service, nothing to complain.

Having a great time spending nights in this hotel! The staff are kind, pleasant, and helpful. The hotel is not big as I thought before, but it still nice plus it has 'javanese' taste interior.

Strategically located at the city center of Yogyakarta. Only within a walking distance from the Tugu historical landmark. The hotel itself is quite old-fashioned but apparently well-kept. Staffs are all smiling and helpful. Right at 10 a.m. the Indonesian national anthem is played throughout hotel and guests would be asked to be standing to express their respect towards it.

Had lots of problems with the the rooms, the AC runs on central so you can't control the temperature. The room we stayed in had a shower that went hot and cold on its own. Wouldn't go back or recommend it. We did get a room change after lots of complaints

A mature hotel with good hospitality and strategic location near Tugu landmark. The staffs are very kind and helpful. The room is spacious but in some spots shows the aging. Came here after 14 years after my honeymoon and everything still in the same perfection.

A very nice hotel. The rooms are spacious, and well maintained. Food is very good. The evening program of local cultural events, like singing, accompanied by traditional instruments was enthralling. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

What an enjoyable stay here. I came with my parents and my brothers' families for 2 nights. The welcoming staff and their service throughout our entire stay here was top notch. The location is perfect, close to Malioboro, local markets etc. The room is clean with almost complete amenities. Couldn't take a nice picture of it though, since the kids instantly raided the beds 🤦‍♂️😂 The breakfast buffet is extensive and tasty, whether they be sweet or savory. One suggestion is towards the swimming pool area. It may need maintenance to make it look more appealing.

A very nice hotel with good facilities and located in a very strategic location. The breakfast menu is various, although they need some time to refill the food since it's a public holiday. The room is quite spacious, but I think they have a thin floor, because I can hear the sound of the chair dragged and steps from above, I also can hear if someone is taking a bath in front of the closed door room. But overall it's a nice hotel, and all the staffs are very friendly and helpful

Walking distance from Tugu, the icon of Yogyakarta. I like the lobby, grand traditional ambient. The swimming pool is small but nice. The outdoor seating of the restaurant which is in front of the hotel is a plus. Breakfast was quite good. The bed was not comfortable and the bed in twin bed is small. The chair in the room definitely need refreshment

Check in process was slow. I book executive room but was located near swimming pool and i has get disturb in the morning when kids shouted outside. They should control the time and not start too early while guest is sleep. The room was spacious but tv channel is not working well. The shower in the bathroom not working well also and cold water was dripping from head shower while using hand shower. With the money i paid, it is definitely not worth the value. Will not consider to come back again.

The AC was not cool and the TV too small. It is a 4 Stars hotel but doesn’t even provide drinking glasses in their sink! They gave me plastic cups instead!!! Even 3 stars hotels can gave me a lot more than this. Poor service at breakfast.

one of the best old style hotel in town. the staffs were seniors, they know how to treat guests correctly. breakfast was so-so. the rooms are large, with a good view of the pool. shower experience were awesome! my favourite part with this hotel is the parking lot!! so spacious and they were under the pool! keeping your vehicles in shade. feel safe to leave yours here. love it!!

Good location, decent rooms, but disappointingly poor service. The front door attendants, security guards, and even the receptionists were uninterested in answering my question about a meeting room location. I was repeatedly directed to the wrong floor and location. The way they treated me as a local guest perplexed me greatly.

Overall services are good.Bu there are some issues related with food menu. Most of menu are traditional food. I realize that might be those are becoming concern Yogyakarta are on focus on traditional, sometimes we need in modern food.
