The worst 4-star hotel that I've visited so far. We arrived at the hotel around 11pm and expected to have nice shower with hot water. Unfortunately, what happened was the hot water is broke and the color of the water itself is brown, super dirty! We booked 3 rooms and all of them having same condition. Aside to that, room interior also looks very old and the spring bed about to worn out, seems they are using previous bed from Novotel. The bed sheet is dirty as well. The food taste is so-so. Will never stay at this hotel again.

Located strategically at the center of Yogyakarta on Sudirman Main road. It is within walking distance to many tourists and commercial attractions. The place is clean and the staffs are very friendly. The local selection of food at the restaurant is also pretty good but need to improve a bit on the western menus. Suggest to add another elevator as people need to wait for awhile during "rush-hours". Wasnt that happy when there was no late check out as hotels usually allow guests to check out late until 14:00. The gym also needs to add a few more air conditioners to make the work out sessions more comfortable when there are a lot of people at the gym. Overall, it was an okay experience.

Wonderful stay at Kimaya Sudirman Yogyakarta by Harris. From arrival until departure, all exceeded my expectations. Very attentive staff from security, bellman, reception, housekeeper to waiter staff. They always smile and greet me whenever I'm passing by, very quick to respond for every request you have. The room itself is very spacious, spotless, and comfy. The bed so comfortable and the linen always smell fresh, amenities on the room also complete for its price range. Breakfast options can cater everyone, from meat lover to even vegan. And it is taste delicious. They even have free gym to use with complete equipment, the tropical pool makes you feel like in Bali with its refreshing greenery and waterfall (although actually you are in the middle of busy Jogja City) Also the most important, they have great health protocol in this pandemic situation. So for the conclusion, this is the best 4 star hotel you'll find in Jogja. I am very satisfied with my stays here, great job !

The Hotel is quite clean, they got a spacious loby area, bar, open air for breakfast, pool, good internet conection, and also enough parking lot. Their toilet didn't have a "boosterpump" so the water flow slowly 🥺 They had an various kinds of breakfast menu, got an instant noodle, the bread is very nice, got toaster and coffee machine..

Kimaya Hotel is my favourite place to stay. The hotel has a beautiful spacious lobby on entrance and a nice bar, pool, gym, and reception. The rooms are large and comfortable. Staff members are extremely helpful and I found it easy to communicate.There is a feeling of luxury staying here and yet the price is affordable. The location is good and there is a mall next door for anything you need. I stayed there for 3 weeks in 2022 and returned recently in 2023 for 10 days. There are always interesting activities available for hotel guests if wanted. I would not hesitate to come back again to my favourite hotel. A special thank you to Rafael, front of house manager, who went above and beyond the call of duty to accommodate our stay.

Excellent hotel! They just joined Harris since Dec 2021, it's not for too long, but the renov, service, and FOOD, is very good 👍 Ayam pecel Pandanaran (39k nett), is a must try. It's god damn tender.

We stayed here wtih family for 3 nights, the name of Novotel means good quality and services, but they cannot maintain their good name in this hotel. The hotel reducing for the quality if compare with other novotel hotel in other city that I have been stayed, need big attention from the management to improve this old hotel. I don't know why the management reduce the quality, maybe because there is new novotel suites malioboro hotel so they don't give big attention for this old hotel some to be improved are : 1. We stayed in 8th floor the light in the room is not comfortable, they only give 3 desk lamps with low lumens, no ceiling light. (Stay in the dark) 2. The wall in the room need to be repain and also the bathroom and the bed need to be upgrade. 3. Although the room were cleaned everyday but they not cleaned enough. 4. The electrical socket in the room need to be added they only give 1 or 2 free electrical socket for charging our gadget and the position are far from the bed, or we have to pull out the light cable for additional socket.(typical old hotel) 5. The smell in corridor and lift were not good, need to add more air refreshener. 6. The laundry have no fragrance. 7. The breakfast menu need to be upgrade as 4 star hotel standard. Overall we are disappointed to stay in this novotel hotel not like we expected stay in 4 star hotel, need big change for management to be improved with quality and 4 star hotel sandard, dont just because you have another new hotel nearby then you reduce the quality.

Located at the center of the Jogja city, we can reach every tourism destinations easily. The parking lots are spacious at the basement, but for a big vehicle, the parking is quite difficult. The staffs are helpful. The pandemic protocols are applied. Welcome ice cream is great. Worth the price.

One of good hotel in Yogyakarta. I feel very comfy inside my room, which also very clean and spacious. I was allowed to have early check in and they gave me a room heading to the main street, although I have to admit it was a bit noisy the whole time, but luckily I am a light sleeper. The aircon works well, the bedding feels good as well as its pillows, and it also has a sofa bed on the corner. The room lighting was bright and many. It has fridge and safe deposit box. The hot shower was running well, and there's also a satelite tv. The housekeeping keeps my room tidy and clean every day, which made my stay more comfortable. They have quite large lobby, and a lounge. Their swimming pool is on the ground floor with large size for adult, and quite deep as well. They also have kids pool, and a pool safeguard. The breakfast variations could be more interesting, but the food taste was good. Their croissant was my favorite! The breakfast staffs quite attentive to the guest needs. The hotel location is in the center of everything, and just a couple steps from mall, hospital, cafes and restaurants nearby.

Spacious room. The furnitures are aged but okay and still comfy. Strategic location, very close to Galeria mall, lot of resto, coffee shop etc.

Really value-for-money. Mid-range hotel formerly managed by Novotel. A little worn but generally clean and functional. Good location and a small next door is convenient. Room is average sized, shower is good and hot. Amenities passable Breakfast buffet has good variety, albeit just average quality. Overall service is very good and friendly.

Staying for 5 days here, overall the experience was good. Staff were very helpful and breakfast was okay. But since this was the first novotel in jogja prev they still need renovation for the room. but all good since they maintain the cleanliness.

We stayed here for 4 nights. Our stay was very pleasant. Staff is very courteous. The accessibility to nearby regions is of great value. They have multiple in hotel services like swimming pool and spa. It is an ideal place to stay for couples and families while in Yogyakarta. 2 downsides: 1. Swimming pool is available only from 8 am to 6 pm, which is weird. No guest is going to stay in hotel during the day to enjoy swimming pool instead of going out at a tourist destination. So the swimming pool is kind of useless. 2. They do not help to arrange any tours to surrounding places or help get any local tour agency number.

We stay for 4 nights. Overall, we have pleasant stay. Excellent service from the government marketing Mba Oki, Front Office, and F&B team. Fast, reliable, and most of all, friendly. The room itself is cozy and clean. Got a pretty good view as well. A bit of a drawback is the lighting of the room, which makes an excellent ambience to relax but too dim to be use as a working space. The food variety and taste were good.

+ Their great and warm hospitality which can be experienced starting from drop off lobby and reception area, are comparable with 5 star hotels. + Their spacious room (ard 28sqm), and real king size bed with 1-seater sofa are great for long stay or for family. + Well equipped and well maintained gym area. + Great location, not too far from Malioboro ( less than 10 mins by car), beside a compact shopping centre, and Trans Jogja is located across the street.

In a perfect position to visit the Prambanan temple and the Borobudur, the hotel is located in the lively and attractive Malioboro area. With spacious and well furnished rooms, confortable bathrooms, pleaseant lounges and overall cleanliness, Hotel Kimaya is a perfect haven from sometimes challenging Indonesian life. Good restaurant, very helpful staff. Highly reccomended.

Well, actually i went there to have dinner, so IDK that much about the rooms, but I can say the service is great that is why i gave 5 stars and i keep rooms blank cos i haven't stayed there yet.

Which i find very acceptable. I'm quite happy with the variant. Please don't expect for good cheese and pastries menu. Someone who put the indomie menu by the egg station is brilliant! + Superb staff all around. From security, front desk to resto. Yas!! + Nice cafe in the lobby with friendly price. + Parking is adequate and free of charge. However since there's no ticketing system, i feel it has some sort of security hole. + Good wall insulation and aircon. Slept really well. + Strong rain shower with bath tub! + walking distance to Mal Galeria. Tugu and Malioboro is a few minutes drive. Possible to walk too. + bicycle rental. Very welcoming staff, nice amenities (got to play billiards), reasonable daily rate. The restaurant has a good selections of local and Western food, I ended up having breakfast every morning there. One highlight: the hostess Noor is very personable and attentive. She's also knowledgeable when I asked about local stuff. Another highlight: staff Ayu helped me order snacks via Grab. Both Noor, Ayu (and the staff) are excellent and went above and beyond. Thank you. 🙏

Kimaya sudirman used to be novotel hotel. It has pretty spacious room with bathub inside. I got 2nd floor and it has balcony overlooking the pool. At night, the pool are shine with lamp and sometimes they play movie there. The breakfast is nice and I like the atmosphere. It has strategic location, and you can walk to Galleria Mall within 5 minutes or less.

One of the Best Hotel in Yogyakarta. This hotel is located close to the city center, about 7 minutes to Malioboro. Complete hotel facilities ranging from a new renovated restaurant to the availability of in-room spa services. The favorite part is the Tropical Poolside complete with day bed which can be enjoyed by paying IDR 100,000. The culinary scene around the hotel is also complete, there is gudeg sagan, a chocolate cafe which is suitable for nostalgia during college. The staff is also friendly, great Kimaya. will definitely come back again.

Wow, this is the new name of Novotel Jogja. Strategic location. In front of Bethesda Hospital. Galeria Mall is next door. Malioboro is nearby. Jogja hospitality is always great. Two more things: Merapi mountain is wonderful from our window. Also we can rent bike to explore Jogja. Gocapan. Gowes cari (look for) sarapan (bfast). I choose gudeg for my bfast.

This hotel following Covid protocol procedure in lobby and restaurant area. We stayed during fasting month,so we had sahor instead of breakfast. Choices of sahor menus not as complete as regular breakfast,however qe so understand,people prefer simple menu for sahor. We stayed in superior room,cleanliness ok

Novotel.....consider to be one of the old hotel...I mean not old in the negative sense, but this hotel has been there for a long time that become well known by local. In fact, I had been staying in this hotel for several time. This hotel has a nice small swimming pool with unique design and deep area in one side completed with trees and bushes around the pool that can make you forget that you are in the middle of the city, though the sound of the traffic can not be avoided sometimes. One thing that I love about this hotel.....is its breakfast choices with some traditional choices and modern ones. I always love the taste of the meal here. If you are talking about the location...across of this hotel is a bus station that you can use to get Malioboro street. Walking to the right and left side of the hotel....you can find a lot of eating spot at night....and shops at daytime. In fact it is also close to Galeria Mall (if I am not mistaken). the staff also friendly as usual...staying here never upset me...the downpoint is just that in fact this hotel far from Malioboro street.

Its all great, but the swimming pool its kinda dirty...i dont know if its becuz the plants in there buts theres leafes everywhere and i hope they will clean this pool more often

Large room with clean and comfort with less price.. Its happy time to stay here. Jenderal Sudirman street infront of this hotel is huge and instagrammable area. We can take a lot of picture with many panoramic style, espesially at night.., love to see it and enjoy with family.. Very recommended

Wonderful ambient in the strategic location. I had a pleasant stay here while visiting my children while they were studying in UGM. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The room is spacious, clean, and tidy.

This hotel is in a very central location. While it is located at a main road it is quiet enough to get enough rest and a good night's sleep. The hotel is not brand new, and while this means that the rooms are not at all high-tech, they are cozy and comfortable. It is also obvious that this is a hotel with an experienced staff. They are professional and very friendly. They are willing to go the extra mile if needed. Their staff is very much a highlight of this hotel.

Breakfast good, room cozy, staff are very welcoming to us. So comfortable, nice and pleasant stay. they have a very refreshing pool with nice garden. the hotel offers comfortable rooms with peaceful ambience in the middle of the city.

Kimaya also facilitates guests to hold various kinds of formal events, like Wedding Proposal. You can choose the venue in the Ballroom, Garden, or Sidepool. At that time I chose the sidepool venue, and it was very beautiful to use for a small event. But, For a 4-star hotel, I think the ballroom interior needs to be renovated, because it looks a bit old-fashioned.

The superior room is superb, with terrace and garden view, bed and pillow was comfy. Strategically located side to mall and front of general Hospital. Also near to business district of Jend Sudirman.

Before it was Novotel, then changed under Tauzia (Harris) to become Kimaya. The old ambient feels with the room and bathroom. Eventhough they had renovated and paint some walls with blue, identical colour brand, but it still feels old. Large, clean enough, and amazingly very cold air conditioner. Hot water and TV runs well. They had swimming pool and located beside Galleria, shopping center with a lot of food and stores. However, do not expect bright and colourfully experience like Harris. It is totally different, yet still good .

All good.. room bersih rapi.. varied food n taste good. But the worst thing is not being able to buy food to be delivered n deposited at the reception. Must be deposited at the security post n end up with ants swarming in the food .. eww

Got room no 725 for 5 days (4 nights). The breakfast menu are stellar & delicious. The room is quite big with king sized-bed. The room is tidy, while the rest room has bathtub. They provided safecase and small refrigerator in the room. The overall service is above average but the staffs are friendly and willing to assist. The pool has options for children part. 5 stars out of 5. Thanks
