Nice place to hang, service was typically Dutch, food was decent but avoid the cocktails - they are not the best

Nice food with great presentation.

Very good beach. At Zandvoort. Good for surfing,scuba and sea bath. In summer lot of tourists. In winter too you can enjoy the beach. Lot of hotels and apparment nearby. Number of restaurents and snack bars. Sea food specialities are great. Walkways,driveways and all. Very nice. Train terminal and bus stops nearby. Train and buses from nearby Haarlem. Friendly people and staff of hotels,snack bars and all very smiling and helpful. A visit to Zandvoort will only complete the Amsterdam outing.

Serene and clean beach , it basically on the outskirts of Netherlands and one needs to take a train which goes to zandvoort and a walking distance from the station .

This beach view restaurant was a lovely spot with good food and a relaxed atmosphere. It has fabulous views and we watched the sun go down while sitting by the fire pit inside. 100% recommend. Kid and family friendly too.

TERRIBLE SERVICE! After waiting almost 2 hours for our food only half of the order came to the table! My 2 year old son had to wait even more for his dinner and when it finally arrived he was tired, crying and didn't want to eat! Left the restaurant with a screaming toddler!! They ruined a perfect relaxing day at the beach!

Dutch beach might be anything but an oximoron as it sounds! Great place just a short ride away from bustling city life of Amsterdam, in a smooth ambient of Buddha Beach Bar. Tip goes to visiting it in sunset: some serious photo stops offered to make your memories last longer!

Who could have asked for better hosts and accommodations. "Pro advisors " said Zandvoort is not the place to make home base for a 10 day Netherlands trip. Haarlem or Amsterdam T hey said. They were wrong. 10 minutes from Haarlem and you are in a quaint bungalow with all that 2 people need. The owners / host own Budda Beach restaurant next door and are available if you need them. They are visible but not interfering with your stay. We interacted with them, Mom and Joella. It raised our overall experience. The location is super walking distance to the train which in 30 or 60 minutes can get you anywhere. Town center is 20 minutes by easy walk. Restaurants, street food specializing in seafood are abundant. The beach itself rivals any beach I know and I grew up on the Gulf Coast. Can't say enough awesome things about this place !!!
