Excellent stay! The hotel has the perfect balance of modern, yet elegant aesthetics. Rooms are thoughtfully appointed, including the best mini bar selection ever. You can relax on the rooftop pool while gazing at beautiful Modernist architecture, and the staff is amazing, proactively anticipating requests. Best of all, it’s centrally located so you can easily move around Barcelona. 100% recommend this hotel and I can’t wait to come back.

3 stars for the restaurants: Food taste, freshness and quality is way below average despite the high prices. Not what you’d expect from such a 5-star hotel brand that charges a minimum of 400€ per night. On the other hand, great location and nicely designed.

Updated review: Great location and very sleek and modern spaces. Room layout is great. We experienced a few problems with the room but the staff resolved them quickly and professionally. In my initial review, which I wrote while I was staying at the hotel, I noted three issues: wrong bed (had requested king and received two twins); the TV not working properly; and the toilet “running” (ie making a dripping noise). Upon notifying the front desk, all issues were resolved quickly and to my satisfaction. However, after the first night we were woken up to the toilet “running” (dripping, making more noise) again. We notified the desk again. This time, we talked with Maria, the customer experience manager, and she was very apologetic and offered to upgrade us to a junior suite for the balance of our stay. We took her up on the offer and they also gave a nice bottle of Cava. The new room was great (although the air conditioning could have been cooler, but not a big deal as it was still cool at night) and overall we had a nice stay. Compliments to Maria and the front desk staff for jumping in to resolve the issues. I’ll also note that the location is perfect and the hotel itself is modern and common spaces are very nice as well. We had a nice meal in one of restaurants too.

You will have an incredible experience at ME Barcelona. The brand new hotel is in an amazing location with great views of the city but still feels like a relaxing getaway. The breakfast was excellent and would highly recommend. The staff at the hotel were so thoughtful - recommending activities in the city, greeting you everyday and making sure your experience meets their standard. Can’t wait to return! The perfect experience.

I randomly chose this hotel and was pleasantly surprised what a great choice I made. The service is impeccable. We got here at 6am and the room was ready at 11am. The spa here was one of the best massages I’ve ever had honestly. Highly recommended to anyone who loves a good massage

We cannot say enough about the great experience of staying at ME Barcelona. The location, amenities, cleanliness and staff were amazing. Very good vibe to hotel, rooms were immaculate each day with turn down service each evening. The lounge and food were also very good with outdoor patio seating and rooftop seating near pool as well through day and evening. The staff was incredible and very attentive throughout entire stay Javier Casanova was the concierge and much more. His recommendations, personal touch and character made you feel like you knew him forever. 10/10 for sure!

Gave a two star because the hotel is clean and has a great location. However BEWARE! On the first night, we had a bottle of gin stolen from our room. We were debating weather we drank this and forgot or had it been stolen? The next day, my mothers blue Gucci bag was stolen along with her expensive coat and iPad. We complained and the management have done very little about it. LOCK up your valuables. It must of been an inside job, as we were only out of the room for an hour and it was gone when we went back so they were watching us for when we left. The food at the rooftop could be improved too. Barcelona is known for their Spanish tomato bread! Not a piece of bread and a tomato.

Incredible hotel. The product, location and most notably the service is second to none. We had a stunning Suite with Jacuzzi on the rooftop and the concierge arranged such an amazing birthday surprise for my Fiancé. We absolutely loved it and only recommend it if you value true 5 star luxury hotel experience.

Amazing brand new hotel in the heart of Barcelona, next to Plaza Cataluña and Rambla. The hotel is beautifully designed, sleek, young, ultra modern, luxurious. 3 restaurants, roof top overlooking PC, great in- room dinning. One of the best 5 stars properties in Barcelona right now. I have stayed in more than 100 Virtuoso properties in over 60 countries and I do advice on luxury travel for a living. :)

The perfect stay, Very nice, clean and centrally located hotel. Rooms have a good size and are very comfortable. But the most important thing to mention, very nice people working in the hotel, we were welcomed by Paula from the reception who is breathing hospitality and took a lot of effort to make the most of our stay in Barcelona. But the friendly attitude was also with the guy who showed us the hotel, the girls during breakfast and the guy from the valet parking. All was great. Next time in Barcelona i will book again in ME hotel

I wanted to love this place more but it seems that they sacrificed comfort for "art". It's very modern and "stylish", but those aren't exactly the greatest features in a hotel. The staff was really nice and accommodating, but our rooms took a very long time to be ready and it took a long time for our luggage to arrive in our rooms. The rooftop pool is incredible but very small with limited seating. The beds were pretty hard. The room was spacious and clean, but the bathroom set-up was horrible. Our shower had no door so the water sprayed all over the floor and it took 8 towels to soak it up. The sink only works by hand sensor, so I had to hold my hand in place when trying to brush my teeth and do other things. Getting around the hotel is also very confusing, as there are multiple elevators you must take just to get to the second floor. However, this hotel had one of the nicest hotel gyms I have ever seen. The breakfast was also the nicest hotel breakfast I've ever been to!

The option to order eggs prepared to one's liking was a delightful touch. The concierge service was exceptional, coming to our aid with last-minute restaurant reservations, car rentals, and drivers. A very pleasant place to stay. The hotel and rooms are beautiful, stylish and immaculate. We opted for a superior ME room and it was large and really well appointed. The breakfast was superb. The rooftop pool was nice although it’s a little tight for space when busy and there is no bathroom up there so you need to take the elevator down (slightly annoying). The location is very central in a busy area, although the hotel itself seems very quiet. I would stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The staff, from Javier at concierge to Aina and Ether at breakfast, were incredible and very welcoming. We felt at home. The room was very clean, well designed and well appointed. It was nice to be able to get our room before check-in time. The location couldn’t be better. The rooftop pool had a wonderful view. We would definitely stay there again for the service and location.

From the moment I arrived on a beautiful November morning, I was transported to a world of excellence and upscale service. My first impressions? Amazing. Beautiful. Zen. These 3 words describe the looks and the attitude of the hotel. The hotel is trendy but elegant, offering the highest levels of luxury through personalized services, and sophisticated accommodations. The staff was absolutely delightful. Javier, PR was helpful and kind, always greeting me by name and offering suggestions of things to do at the hotel and around town. Explore all the gorgeous spaces, dine at Belbo, and relax in the rooftop. My stay was an unforgettable experience and I can’t wait to come back.

I never leave reviews, but my gosh, this hotel is one of the best 5* hotels I've stayed in. From the minute we walked in to the minute we left the staff made our whole stay seamless. The room was gorgeous, the roof top pool bar was lovely all day. Couldn't recommend enough. Thank you!

Great spot in Barcelona. Rooms high quality with strong AC. Constant water refills and chocolate on pillows. Super friendly staff and very nice lobby, restaurants and lounges. Rooftop bar has great views and drinks. Very happy with the stay here.

This hotel is incredible. The staff go above and beyond for all guests. Every member of staff is polite and courteous from the door staff to bar staff and reception. House keeping do an incredible job at keeping the room immaculate and making your stay as comfortable as possible. We stayed in a superior room and the bath was definitely worth it! I had a postcard for my Nan that I bought at a local shop but they gave me the wrong stamp, the staff helped me get the right stamp and send it which I am so grateful for! Can’t recommend the hotel enough, wonderful stay! Thank you to everyone here!
