👍👍 Very Charming and beautiful place. I recommend to visit during the week. It's quite full on the weekends. Especially in good weather. Also a beautiful place for wedding pictures but I would recommend to visit before to find a good spot because the Park is huge! I guess no bride would like to walk a...

👍👍 I think it's a funny idea 👍😊 The castle park writes the following: "At the end of the corridor there is a trompe l'oeil painting - from French: a painted illusion of the eye. It suggests a view of an idyllic river landscape. ... This illusion is achieved through a sophisticated construction. A pav...

Hundewiese-Schwetzingen
Dog park

👍 The Rococo Theater is well worth seeing even when there is no performance. Tours of the theater are occasionally offered, which you should of course take advantage of by running in the castle park. The theater is still used today. Unfortunately, also for “modern” productions like the Nebuchadnezzar...

👍👍 The super-inspired work is an attraction for all tourists who come to Schwetzingen. First to take a picture with the asparagus seller and then to admire it from the nearby terrace where you can quietly enjoy a beer looking at passers-by.

Merkurtempel
Historical landmark

👍👍 The shipwrecked Arion is saved from drowning by a dolphin belonging to the god Apollo. The French sculptor Barthélemy Guibal originally created this group of figures for the castle gardens of Lunéville. Elector Carl Theodor acquired the bronze figures in 1766 and had them brought from France to Schw...
