Best places: Nature preserves in Netanya, Israel

👍👍 A wonderful piece of wildlife in the bustling city. Access to the beach has been made more convenient than before. The plants are signed and protected. Beautiful flowers and fragrances.

👍👍 Great nature experience in the city. The pond is cute with a few ducks. The woods are filled with protected wild flowers and birds.

👍👍 Just getting there on the dirt road was an adventure. A nice walk around the lake. Several shaded stops. No entry fee. You can also rent bikes. (I wish you could add videos to these reviews.)

👍👍 Wonderful trail between Herzliya and Natanya, close to Ga'as Kibuts, with beautiful cliffs and marked way. Sharon Beach Nature Reserve makes a part of the Israel National Trail, connecting the country from the very North to the very South. One can enjoy the panoramic view over the sea and the cliffs...

👍👍 Very nice sand dune close to the sea and a few tracks for hikers. The entrance seems to be a bit complicated: we had to enter Wingate and reach the other side of the campus in order to get to the entrance of the reserve. I assume there are other ways to get into the region. Great view, no facilities...

👍 Very nice patch of nature, abundant with flowers and song birds. There's a fairly large gravel parking at the entrance. The place is mostly clean and pleasent to walk around. The overall path is very short and will take at most 10-15 min at a very slow pace. There is nearly no shadow around the path...

👍👍 A natural gem with a lake, an observation point and a circular walking route between Ra'anana and Netanya. Great for a weekend trip with kids or a romantic date. In the lake there is an ecological variety of birds and vegetation and there is an explanation about them with pictures.

👍👍 They say timing is everything! We'll in this case, the amount of bloom and green is overwhelming. A short, diverse and easy track that takes you through, lake, river, Forrest and a lot of fun.

👍 Озеро около железной дороги. Купаться нельзя, но ловят рыбу. В Шабат - очень приятное и тихое место.

😐 שמורה קטנטונת בקצה מושבת קדימה. נראה שנפגעה קשות גם בגלל חקלאות התותים וגם ממטיילים לא זהירים שיצאו מתחומי החיבלול. יש במקום פריחה יפה של אירוס ארגמן (הפריחה ממש בראשיתה ומבטיחה להתעצם, 15/02/22). האלונים נראים מעט מוזנחים. נקווה שיתאוששו
