Best places: Pubs in Bergen, Norway

👍👍 As the reviews say. No table service but that isn’t a problem. Menu on the boards in the bar area. Free water and sun scream if needed too - a nice touch. Food was fresh and warming. One of the best we had in Norway and very local. Well priced. Happily recommend

👍👍 Stopped scrolling through countless Google Maps recommendations and chose this cute little pub. Hearty and delicious food. Pricier than fast food but so worth it. Go for the fish pie and artichoke soup.

👍👍 Came to Bergen for a short stay of 4 days. My birthday was during my time there and decided to visit Cafe Sanaa for the night. I cannot emphasize enough the bar, drinks and other people also there were nice.

👍👍 I love the vibe of this place! The outside area is just great, so nice to seat and watch people walking while having a nice beer from the wide selection. Bartenders are very nice and competent. I would definitely recommend!

👍👍 Sehr gute Gelegenheit um einen Kaffee und ein Skillingsboller zu essen. Man kann sehr gut draussen sitzen. Wesentlich günstiger als ein paar hundert Meter weiter im Zentrum. Kaffee für nur 15 Kronen. Das ist teils günstiger als in Deutschland.

😠 Unprofessional bouncer made the club lose money by not letting us in. I understand that there are rules, but you could at least explain them instead of rudely sending us away without explanation.. very inhospitable

😠 Rude bartenders (not all, but most especially the Asian). Dirty floors, surfaces, cups and in general. Does not take into account public health should be checked by the Norwegian Food Safety Authority.
