👍👍 I had an incredible experience at Sak Yant Chiang Mai. I met with Nana at the in-house location in the heart of Chiang Mai. She spoke with me about the tattoos, the ritual, and the entire experience overall. And then we drove about 20 minutes away to the Ajarn's house, wai'd to the ajarn and we talk...

👍 This place is very old, built around 1297,it has an air of peace and tranquilty about it, good place to bring a book to read at the shaded tables in the grounds. Buddhist philosophy is presented on plaques tied to trees. It is actually a meditation training center also.

👍👍 Chanced upon this temple while making making my way to the Three Kings Monument. There was a Friday Flea market on the temple grounds. Stalls sell mostly handicrafts and handmade products at pocket friendly prices. Handmade soaps go for 100 baht for 3 pcs, wooden coffee spoons 4 for 100 baht, beaded...

👍👍 Best massage I have had yet in Thailand! My masseuse was very precise and firm and was clearly very experienced. This massage is geared towards locals, don't expect a spa type experience but a more traditional Thai experience. My wife also had an excellent massage. 120 baht is a bargain.

👍 A less well known temple certainly worth a visit. I have been visiting a few of the lesser well-known temples to see if they're worth a visit - instead of the more popular temples, many of which are now charging foreigners to enter. Wat Chomphu is situated in a soi off Chiang Moi Road, close to th...

👍👍 A colorful and quiet place with large dragon and tiger sculptures. You can go inside the dragon and see a lot of pictures about the life of Buddha. There were neither tourists nor locals when I was there about 1 hour, only a few employees. The temple located is not in the center, but it's quite easy...
