Ketchikan Hiking Trails

ππ We were in Ketchikan for 9hrs (cruise ship). This trail was fabulous, well marked, uphill, we only went to the first viewpoint due to time constraints. We also took a uber to trailhead to avoid the long steep walk through the burbs :)

Creek Street in Ketchikan

ππ Interesting part of town that used to be the red light district. The creek is literally the street that runs between the businesses. Now there are vendors and artists along with the restaurant or two. It's very picturesque.

ππ The Tongass Historical museum is amazing it have the history of Alaska like the gold rush and the Alaska Purchase and many wonderful displays and real native items. We enjoy it but we also went the gift shop they very nice items..

ππ Super cool museum! Definitely worth your time! The exhibits are are for learning about the history and life's of local people! Captivating, I recommend taking the time to check out this museum! It is only a slight 5$ entry fee and people 15 get into free!!

ππ Gorgeous hiking trail through the evergreen rainforest. Honestly, the toughest part is reaching it on foot from the town. Waterproof hiking boots and solid gear to put against ample local rain are highly recommended. Many a person comes down with a mud-caked posterior.
