👍👍 More like Erie Beach, rather than Lake. The wind makes it chilly during summers too. A drive further inside reveals several other beaches (around 12 of them) which are serene and usually no people around there. There are walkways along the Lake too.

👍👍 The hike whooped my butt, however, it was so worth it. We started at 2 AM to summit V2, and then hit Island and Ice lakes on our way down. This is definitely a hard hike. Don't underestimate it. So many people were walking up at noon with nothing but a water bottle in hand.
