A very good Indian dinner. Tasty, good portion, fresh and nice presentation. Ambiance is good too, only a bit noisy if there is a big group in the restaurant. . Service is average. 4.3 โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ๐ŸŒ™

Exceptional Indian food!! It's by far the best Indian food experience we had in Amsterdam. We have been to many Indian restaurants in Amsterdam, but nothing comes close to the taste of the dishes at Rasoi. The chef's dabha style chicken curry tatsed like a homemade dish. The paneer kulcha just melted in the mouth. They also had north Indian street food starters, which were delicious. We also tried their lamb biryani. Our favorites were the chicken dish and the kulcha. We tried their tomato soup, and it was super spicy. The service was very good. If you can not tolerate spicy food, please ask the staff for a recommendation. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking to try great (north) Indian food in Amsterdam.

I recommend this place! At first, I was afraid that it is too fancy, therefore pricey and not authentic, but I was wrong. Stylish, lovely, affordable with incredibly good and nicely decorated food. Tandoori chicken was the absolute winner - the best in Amsterdam so far. Perfectly baked and spiced. Another must try is their finger licking naan bread with cheese. Biryani, chicken curry and desserts were delicious. Goat curry was ok but nothing special. They only can improve the wine experience. They just bring already filled glass from the kitchen instead of filling it from the bottle in front of you. Thus, you also miss an opportunity to try wine. Chenin blanc turned out to be red (though it was in the white wine menu section). But overall it is a great place!

Very good north Indian food with big portions, made for sharing. Service was excellent as well! Prices slightly above average but I think reasonable. As others pointed out, when the place is full and there's a bigger group, it can indeed get so noisy that you can't hear others at your table.

The food here was amazing, we tried a myriad of things from the menu and shared. The naan is killer- whichever one you choose. The signature cocktails were fun to try and after one was served not quite cold enough we were promptly given a replacement that was perfectly chilled. When the waiter forgot to take our order we received a dessert on the house and the service was otherwise amazingly friendly- kudos to some of the happy staff members. We left extremely full and very satisfied.

What an amazing experience! Me and my family had a really great time! It was my birthday dinner and I had booked well in advance knowing that it is weekend. I had high expectations with the pictures of the food on social media. But trust me they tasted even better! It was busy but received great service from the management by Yash & the owner Mayank. The food was really authentic and my hunger was just satisfied perfectly with everything we ordered. The food presentation was really top notch! The Chaat was to die for! Ordered Chole Bhature, Tikki Chaat, Nonveg platter, Chef Special Chicken Curry, Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani, In-House Kulfi and Shahi Tukda The chicken was really tender and juicy, the naan was very soft, the kulfi had Gulkand filling indside it! Overall it was just LIPSMACKINGLY DELICIOUS! The portions were HUGE! We literally couldn't finish the Biryani and had to parcel. And the food is not expensive! The amount you are charging for such big portions is literally nothing! This is literally my spot in AMSTERDAM from now! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!! โญโญโญโญโญ

Really nice atmosphere, service and even better food! The staff is all so friendly and we even got to chat with the chef. We went here for a 30th birthday celebration and they saved a portion of the most wanted dessert (sizzling brownie) to surprise us. For me I really recommend coming here as the hygiene is also very good and the food is served with nice touches with regard to presentation. I'll definitely return!

Best Indian food in Amsterdam! And Iโ€™ve tried many! We had a chicken and a mutton curry and both were absolutely delicious and full of flavor. Cocktails and wine were great too! Food was served quickly, everyone who worked there was friendly and there was a nice atmosphere overall.

Enjoyed our dinner at Rasoi as it reminded the curries and Indian street food flavors weโ€™ve tasted back in India. The selection of starters, main dishes and street food was abundant to cater for each type of diet (vegan, vegetarian, etc). The service was very good as well, with the staff being very attentive to details and welcoming. Great experience overall.

I booked based on the online reviews, hence this post is to give back to the community! I am an indian and it is tough to find indian food which actually feels like the taste from my country!! To start with I ordered Tikki Chat a very simple dish but restaurant generally get it wrong , but to my surprise Rasoi nailed it !! I could totally go back for the Tikki Chat. I also ordered Lehnsuni Prawn and Chicken Sizzler Platter which also was quite upto the expectation! For main course we had Hyderabadi Biryani (as we wanted spicier biryani) it was Ok taste wise not outstanding though. Other dishes we ordered were malai kofta, Dhaba Chicken - these were extremely good specially the malai kofta! We also had chilli cheese naan- which was up to the point soft as it should be. Additionally we had lassi sizzling brownie and couple of drinks. All were as expected. Service was fast not too high wait time. I pre-booked as I expected restaurant to be busy! And indeed it was. And since we went on a busy friday evening it was a bit noisy but doable! Overall it was a nice experience, would recommend this place anyday

Great Indian food, a bit different vs what other Indian restaurants offer in the city. The pani puri was a delight, the home made gulab jamun very very nice and the accompanying sauce so good, we also enjoyed the chicken balti, the kadai paneer and the kashmiri bharwan aloo. The veggie biryani was a bit bland. The roti and paratha left nothing to be desired. Very nice cocktails as well, with a bit of Indian flavor on classics. Overall a nice experience.

Went to Rasoi on a cold cold day and everyone else wqs late, nice guys. But the place was warm and cosy. We sat at the big table.on the right side of the restaurant and had plenty of space. The kitchen close by. We have had orderd all.in one go and the pani puri was awsome.and spicy. The tap water we had to order sevetal time, also due to that it was a wednesday and we needed to dilute the wine we had with the food. I was to full to enjoy the desserts but the looked good. Presentatio ln wise it was very good. Taste wise also good.

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ The perfect place to enjoy high-quality seafood at a reasonable price.
