Probably the coolest and friendliest bar I've ever been in! The bartender, Dimitri, was absolutely awesome. It was slow in the afternoon so we talked the entire time I was there and he was very knowledgeable about the area and suggested many places in and outside of Amsterdam to visit as well as suggested places to grab some food. The other customers that came and went while I was there were great as well. Definitely will stop in again on my next trip to Amsterdam.

Was in Amsterdam for 5 days over king's day and the Metallica shows, we were here on 4 of them. Great staff and overall vibe, extra shoutout to Zad the bartender, legend. Very keenly priced drinks compared to a lot of other places too. Can't wait to visit again

I was there with my friends like 2 and a half years ago and we do really enjoy our time there, good prices and good ambient, we really loved the decoration and the barman was such a really nice guy, if i had the chance i would go again. I really recommend to spend some time there if you have the chance.

It was nice, well decorated and the music was good but then enter the rudest barman I've ever met. We'd had 4 beers and decided to wait a few minutes to order the next round, but after 15 minutes or so this guy starts arguing suggesting we are not consuming and maybe just hiding from the rain outside. I told him we had had a few and were just waiting a bit and he just kept arguing until he went to check with his mates to make sure I wasn't lying. Honestly it was the first time I got confronted like that in such an amateur way.

Great Bar for a night out! Music is awesome and the atmosphere is great! Head upstairs to the pool room for a few games or sit downstairs and check out all the extraordinary decor! Not the biggest place so can get very packed quickly! But Beer is very reasonably priced compared to the other bars so well worth a visit! 🤘

We spent two nights in Amsterdam and I visited Excalibur Café both of them, great atmosphere, the perfect blend of regular patrons and tourists as we were. This place has the coolest owner you can find, he's always around making sure everything runs smoothly, make sure you check all the memorabilia all around.

My new favourite bar in Amsterdam. Music was spot on. Staff were fantastic. My friend, who had a stroke under a year ago, fell over, as his bad side leg folded. The beautiful people ran from the bar to help. They were kind and empathetic without being patronizing. The best atmosphere I've found for ages. Wish I'd got the name of the beautiful soul behind the bar. Oh well, I'll just have to go back.

We were 5 friends ,spent 6 night in Amsterdam and we kept going back every night to have drinks and we enjoyed it every night . The decor of the bar is very cool and interesting , you can go upstairs and play pool for €2 , which i loved . The staff of the bar is nice and the owner ZAD you will always find him there working so hard and welcoming every one . Will be coming back .

Aesthetically, this place is fantastic and the service was good. They didn't play much metal and when they did it was the basics eg Metallica so don't go there if music is your incentive. Nice place for a beer though.
