There’s an abundant selection of beers to choose from. And if that doesn’t help you make a choice, ask the bartenders and they will help you find the right one. Otherwise a safe bet is their own brew, a Gollem Blond. With notes of spices, fruit and a pleasantly mild hop taste.

This is a really neat pub with a great local beer selection, they also have a good sampling of American beers. American 60's tunes were on their speakers sounding good. Food was beef & veggie burgers & fries, all good portions. The staff is very friendly and informative. Great place, hope to return.

Very good bar with variety of beers. If you like sour beer you can find one for your taste very easily. They have burgers and other snacks to share. The staff is kind and fast. They have different board games to play. Reservation can be made and might be good for Friday or Saturday.

This is a wonderful spot for beer aficionados. They have over 200 bottles and did have Westvleteren available :) The host was very accommodating and gave excellent recommendations for us to try new beers that we had not had before but met our flavor profiles (saison, triple) and even recommended a few unique ones that we wouldn't have explored on our own including an excellent barrel aged stout. The food was excellent too! We also enjoyed all the fun beer related artwork on the walls.

If you like beer, as I do, this is a place to be! They have many different sorts of those! Plus always great service and tasty food! It is one of my favorite spots in Amsterdam! From all the beer places they own, the location in Overtoom is the one and only for me:)

In our 40s, we were the oldies in this great pub. Probably 100 beers on the menu, even nabbed a Westvleteren 12 - one of the best and most expensive beers in the world. Bitterballen delicious - great place

Must-see place if you visit Amsterdam and you love beer. Biggest choice of beer I’ve ever seen in one place and great food too, the fries are sooo good. The staff is very nice and helpful, especially the cat that roams around:)

Absolutely savage food and amazing beers. Staff were really friendly and can offer great advice on their range of beers. Burger was one of the best I've ever had and the chips are second to none. Absolute must stop.

Great little bar with extensive beer selection - rotating beers on tap, their own in-house IPA is great, cosy old fashioned beer bar vibe. Comes with occasional visit from the resident cat! A place I like to go back to, especially if you can get a spot outside on the suntrap terrace.

Wandered over here after exploring Vondelpark (after sampling some specific local products....) best cafe I went to in my 5 day trip to Amsterdam. Ordered a BLT and was pleasantly surprised the bacon was actually crisp (wasn't aware this was not the standard in Europe). Outdoor patio was awesome, inside had great dive bar vibes, beer list was extensive. I tried a new Delerium that I hadn't heard of and I believe isn't available in America. 5/5 , cannot recommend this place more

Came here for the gluten free beers and now there are five different varieties! Friendly service and a very cute friendly kitty on-site. Recommend!

Nice place with big range of Belgium (but not only) beers but what's the cherry on a cake in this plase is their staff. Very friendly, helpful but also skilled people. You can see, feel, experience passion for beer and hospitality ☆☆☆☆☆ Ps. Do not play memory game after 3 beers ... somehow the memory is gone 🤣😂😇

Very broad selection of beers. All flavours from bottled and draft. Beer menu well prepared with grouping beers by a kind and with good description of each beer. Nice offer of test sets (few draft beers). Well supported with finger food, especially recommend cheese plate (included also in one of test sets). We were disappointed with no dinner possibilities, although they promise it on their web page.

The only place for you in Amsterdam to get a Westvleteren 12! I mean, it's the best beer you can possibly have really - plus the vibes in this eetcafe is just lovely. 9 out of 10 just because you don't give 10s by Dutch standards.

Very cozy place with a LOT of beers on offer. The folks at Gollem know their beers like a sommelier. They did not disappoint. Food was good but took a bit longer than I had hoped.

The staff was so cheerful and lovely it was a breath of fresh air! The chef was extremely helpful catering to my food allergies and even created a special sauce for my steak. The music was also fantastic. A very happy and satisfying experience. A must when you visit Amsterdam and are looking for a great place to eat !!!! 👍🏽

There are a huge list of beers tos choose and the waiter's recommend you according what you like perfectly! By the way, if you like the extreme sour beers, don't hesitate to try the Hello!

I go to Gollem's for many years and I am always happy with the service, beer selection, and food. However, last Friday 16/12 I had an unpleasant surprise. I was there at 20:00 and ordered a beer. After 30' minutes my beer was still not served, so I decided to check with the waiter—a young man who didn't seem older than 25 years old. I had trouble getting his attention but in the end I managed to find him. I asked what happened and my beer was not served yet (I was thinking that maybe they were running out so I could change my order). He kept on staring at me, and then he replied ironically: "I don't understand your question, obviously someone forgot it" (most likely it was him who forgot it). It took another 10 minutes but in the end he brought it. Then I told him that he should change his manners, and that his behaviour is unacceptable. He responded (again ironically) "I smile all day, I can't be polite". Then I am afraid my kid, this job is not for you. Together with the other waiter (another young man), they were just chatting with each other and flirting with their girlfriends while the bar was very busy. Luckily the two waitresses were great and did all the job. After that, I decided to only request food/drinks from the 2 young women and everything went smooth (in fact they were extremely fast, faster than expected!) Personally if I see again that person in the bar, I will not stay. It is a pity because usually everyone else is helpful. It is not about getting my beer 30 minutes later, it is about his behaviour to the customers.

Unfriendly waiter and bit overpriced. We also didn’t enjoy the beer that we got recommended. There is a very big selection however so I’m sure you can find what you want.

Lovely bar to hang at, have a couple of beers, chat to some locals, have some great food and unwind after a hectic week. Good food, great beer selection, knowledgable and friendly bar staff, great selection of beers. Couldn’t ask for more.

Great place in Amsterdam to try many different types of beers! Friendly staff and a cute cat outside too. We had the veggie burger and the croque monsieur, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend either - they're not great because it is typical bar food. But definitely go for the beers.

We arrived before we could check into our AirBnB and this was the perfect way station. Good conversation with the barkeep, awesome beer selection, cool cat that knows when he’s wanted. First time trying bitte balls. Loved!
