The hotel was easy to drive in to andno worries about trams or bicycles, we drove from Britain and had no problems. It was in a business/residential area with loads of parks around. A bit of a walk to get to the tram, but pleasant enough. We had a dog with us, but the room was definitely not 4*, although it did include an unwrapped condom on the floor, which the housekeeper was reluctant to remove. The bathroom was modern with enough space and plenty of lotions and potions. Food was good and generally staff were lovely and very accommodating.

With my wife we stayed in a standard double room on the second floor in this 4-star hotel located in the Jewish quarter of Amsterdam Zuid about 30 minutes from the center with the advantage of having the 62 bus stop next to the hotel leading to the station metro Rai from where you can easily reach the center. Our bright modern room quite clean with a spacious double bed and a sofa bed then with a large bathroom and shower equipped with every comfort and with a large television. The mini-bar was empty, Well-kept common areas with rooms reserved for business meetings, In the ground room available at a table free water with lemon. Buffet breakfast in the room adjacent to the reception very varied and abundant both sweet and savory even if perhaps a little more fruit is missing Staff kind of welcoming reception very kind competent Good prices compared to the hotels in the center.

We had a very nice stay, the service was nice and very helpful explaining how to move in the centre of Amsterdam. The room was very clean too and completely sufficient for two people. The thing only missing in the bathroom was that we had no toilet brush. But nevertheless it was a pleasant stay.

Very good place to stay at especially if you are in Amsterdam for business. In case you are there for leisure , the bust stop that takes you to the metro station is just at the entrance of the hotel . Nice rooms , reception staff are very helpful and buffet breakfast at the restaurant is good. Rooms are spacious and very clean. My room had a working desk and a bathroom with shower.

This hotel has now provided me two exceptional stays - clean, welcoming, great location, good services! I have to say that in this particular instance, Pieter went above and beyond to support me on my stay and I will definitely be back next time I’m in Amsterdam. ☺️

Spacious, clean and attractive accommodation. Service is kind, welcoming and helpful. Great location being a walk away from affordable tasty restaurants, takeaways and shopping malls. Easy access and options of public transport. Even better if rooms were slightly modernised to support USB plugs.

This was an amazing and VERY helpful hotel. My wedding party needed a place to get ready and they provided a beautiful meeting room for us. Planning a destination wedding had it's challenges, but I appreciated how responsive and helpful they were.

Can't fault this hotel. Stayed on night after being caught up in the UK ATC cancelled flight fiasco. I was tired and stressed and the staff couldn't have been more welcoming and friendly. Room was clean and very modern with comfy bed. Only criticism is the shower pressure was very low.

Nice, modern building, always friendly and helpful service, and great breakfast.

Service was excellent - the staff at the front desk are extremely friendly. 3 months after my stay, I actually realized there was a mistaken extra charge for bicycles, so I sent them an email and within 10 minutes already had a refund on my card. Amazing customer service! Breakfast was decent. Rooms were also good for the price, location is a bit far from the convention centres, but transportation (bus) is decent and the walk to the RAI was nice. The gym is a bit small.

Friendly and helpful staff, rooms clean and comfy. Bathrooms look to have been modernised too. Easy to get into the city by bus then metro so save the money and stay here. Would come back!

Terrible experience. You can't forget anything in the room because they are not responsible for your things and won't give them back to you. Since we arrived, even though it was early, they told us to wait because they were cleaning the room. We waited and had to ask 2 more times and after 3 hours it was still not clean. It seems that they made a change with another guest who had not arrived at that moment and they gave us the room. About the room: it was clean. There was hair in the bathroom. The first day they didn't even fix the bed. The worst thing!! when we checked out I forgot a hat and a cap. In the afternoon when I remembered, I went to the hotel to ask for them and they were not in "the lost and found" gabinet and they asked me to go the next day when the cleaning lady was there. The next day I went again and they kept me waiting for another hour without finding my things. Then I asked to speak to the manager and asked him to look at the cameras so he could see me bring in my things and leave without them and he told me very unrespectful that the items are the responsibility of the guests and that I could have taken them in my suitcase, as if I had nothing to do in Amsterdam but to go twice and look for items in a hotel. Two days later they did not respond to my request. My things are lost or stolen. Also, the hotel is not in a good location. I didn't have breakfast so I have no opinion.

In the middle of nowhere. Such a deserted area that i could not find a place to eat at 9.45 pm. My friend asked for a kosher breakfast, this is the only reason why i came to this hotel and the kosher breakfast won’t be possible. There is a little kiosk in the lobby but you can’t pay without an app. Personnel need to be trained better, they interrupted my breakfast saying I need to go to the reception immediately to pay. What kind of hotel does not let you add a breakfast to your stay. Are they afraid of having an Anna Delvey? Anna Delvey would never set door in this dump 😂.

The rooms were clean and functional, and the bed was huge and so comfortable, I didn't want to leave it. Great blackout and a very quiet room on the 4th floor. The conference rooms were really good and there were also meeting spaces in the stairwells that were very spacious. The room could have been cleaned slightly better during the stay. I dropped a piece of litter near the bin and didn't realise and it wasn't picked up. Used tea cups were also not replaced. The breakfasts were nice with a great omelette station to start your day well. The pastry and fruit selection was good. No vegetarian bacon or sausage available which is always disappointing. The bar staff were very friendly and helpful. I asked for a decaf cappuccino but they didn't have it.... But the staff warmed some milk and made me a decaf with the instant coffee and didn't charge me. At least they tried. It's a 15 min walk to tram and bus stops and local restaurants, but I quite like a walk. There is a convenience shop in the foyer, but the self service till was out of order for 2 days so you couldn't use it. That's not so convenient,!

I liked this hotel. The rooms were spacious well decorated and clean. The breakfast was wonderful. The staff is particularly friendly and helpful!!

Very large hotel,(10 floors). Rooms were nice & clean. However-- note that parking is not free. You must pay per hour/ day for parking. It's cheaper outside in front of the hotel, otherwise parking under hotel or in back of hotel is more expensive. And if you don't pay for parking you will get ticketed....

Very pleased to have stayed at NH Amsterdam Zuid on our first visit to Amsterdam. Location is great, because of the bus stop in front of the hotel and close proximity to the nearby shopping center and train station. That makes going into town a breeze. The room is very nice and comfortable. Special thanks to Yassine and Ayesha from Front Desk Reception. They were both very helpful and patient in responding to our many enquiries.

One of my favorite places to stay while working in Amsterdam. Very quiet and extremely clean. The staff are great and its easy to get anywhere from here. There are a lot of neighborhood restaurants here and no tourists.

Aircon does not work properly and shower water is too difficult as to getting warm water being either cold or very hot..room is spacious and comfortable..there is no small bottle of water which one might expect in a 4 star hotel..

Very friendly staff & atmosphere. Rooms, bath near to satisfaction. Breakfast beyond expectation. Mostly continental varieties. For hot, & chilli lovers 😍 no rooms.

I love this place. Not my first stay, I choose it. Rooms, service, transportation. Easy access to bus, tram, metro, trains. Great park in a walking distance as well as amazing shopping center with restaurants, supermarkets and other shops.

I am facing a terrible experience with this hotel. My check-out was on Aug 31, 2022 (no major issues during my stay) and now after two weeks they are charging me an undue amount of over 500 EUR, without any reason or prior communication. I am struggling to get in touch with them and properly discuss/solve this issue as the attendant just says they can't provide any further information at this moment. It doesn't make any sense. Just want to solve my problem and have my money back.

I really enjoyed my stay at the NH Zuid location. The staff was extremely kind and professional and the room was comfortable. I would definitely recommended this location. 1 point of improvement, however, would be the bathroom as my shower had cloggin issues and the pressure of the shower head was quite weak. I did not however mention this to the staff, whom I’m sure would’ve fixed the problem if I had! Thank you for the great stay!

The hotel is far away from the city centre. It is not a charming building or neighborhood. There were trouble with the heating when I arrived. However, I was well and quickly compensated with an upgrade to a better room. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Late 15:00 check out was granted with a smile. Good breakfast.

The hotel itself was very nice and in a relatively good location with convenient public transport. However, the check-in staff had a really sassy attitude when we checked in. They were late getting the room ready by 20 mins which we weren’t bothered by. I simply asked is the room ready yet and the staff got pretty sassy with us, as if to say we were inconveniencing them by asking. Anyway, other than that, a good place to stay at an affordable place. Takes 20-30 mins to get into the city centre.

The room was spacious with a really huge desk, bathroom with a bathtub. Location wise it's really nice, 6 minutes to Zuidas by bus and then one can switch to metro and get to the city centre. There's a Jumbo store nearby which accepts Visa/Master Card. AC is pretty loud so it can't be on during the night, and thus it can get quite chillytil the morning. Overall a very nice hotel.

Unfortunately this could be a decent hotel let down by lack of refurbishment, which I assume it’s due to its proximity to RAI and the business district, as it means there’ll always be guests needing a room when large events are in town. The room’s floor was really damaged and the worst thing was the smell - probably due to the detergents used for the linen, the room smelled like a hospital ward. With patients in it. The gym also smelled bad and because of its size and amount of equipment, if there’s more than two people in there you won’t be able to do anything. On the plus side, all the people working in the hotel were lovely and friendly, and the morning breakfast was good, with plenty of choice including on-demand omelettes. That said I probably wouldn’t stay here again.

Stayed for three nights and the room was spacious and modern. The housekeeping did a meticulous job, and the front desk always said a friendly hello when coming or going. It’s location was great: a peaceful suburban area, many restaurants around it, and the bus stop right infront of the hotel. Overall a very enjoyable stay. Bonus is they have snacks and drinks near the lobby that you can buy from, a plus because the nearest grocery store is a bit of a walk away. I would recommend NH to anyone staying in Amsterdam who doesn’t mind being far from the city center.

Great hotel. Good balance on price v quality. Rooms are clean, well equipped, quiet and comfortable. Location is South of the city centre and not very central but still easy to get in and out. What's nice is that it's away from the hustle of town and so quiet and calm by contrast. Suitable for work or family. Has onsite parking which is a bit expensive but very secure. Gym is basic so if you prioritise this then likely it's just adequate. Breakfast is pretty good standard, again a bit expensive but not too bad and quality is pretty decent for the price. It's a great standard for the price and a relaxing place with 24 hour front desk and well trained staff who are friendly and professional.

Clean, sterile, little bit old design but the rooms are nice and big. The bar is closed too soon but there is a vending machine with everything

It's okay. Compared to other hotels that I've visited they don't deserve the 4 stars. Maybe a 3 stars. Needs some improvements for sure. But the rooms were clean.

Some disappointments... The location of this hotel (NH Zuid) is great. I had a room for disabled with an excellent bathroom. The room was clean and spacious. The roomservice charges every time € 5 extra, this isn't exactly a thing I expect in a 4 stars hotel. Staff was friendly. I needed to pay € 50 borg (bail) on top of the city tax for 5 days. Now I've left the hotel more than 3 days ago, I'm back home in London but this € 50 still isn't refunded.

I loved this hotel. The rooms were spacious well decorated and clean. Breakfast was superb. My wife didn't even want to leave

High quality hotel in southern (zuid) Amsterdam, not that far from public transportation, restaurants and shopping center (RAI). But most importantly, it is surrounded by grassy areas and bicycle routes, allowing to cross the city from east to west. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the morning breakfast was absolutely superb.

Outstanding and surprising room arrangements and decorations with roses, champagne and room upgrades in conjunction of our wedding proposal from Daphne, Mandy, Dionne and the rest team. Thank you so much. Would definitely visit again next year.

Great place for a stay. It’s right next to a bus stop so really easy to get to anywhere in Amsterdam. Not far from Amsterdam Airport as well. Staff is really polite and serve amazing breakfast. Everyone is very cautious about covid protocols, would highly recommend it.

The hotel was quite far out from the centre but had an excellent bus service right outside the door. The location itself didn't have much going on though. The rooms were modern and very clean. Lovely shower but the double beds are just twin beds pushed together and not very comfortable. Had some trouble checking in but they found our reservation eventually. We enquired about the 'Lazy Sundays' late checkout of 3pm the night before we checked out and were told if we checked that morning we'd be told what time would be possible if not 3pm but when we checked the morning of checkout there was no late checkout that Sunday. I got the impression from staff that lazy Sunday checkout didn't happen often so that was disappointing.
