The food was really yummy, took me back to my memories of my time in Mexico! The menu is easy, not too many different dishes but lots of dishes have options (chicken, beef, tofu etc) so that's good! Docked a star because I would've preferred the food to be just a tad bit warmer, but that's me nitpicking honestly. Drinks were good (Had a Paloma cocktail and an Agua de Jamaica), you get a bottle of water as well. For dessert I had the churros. The server was so nice and polite, I got a very warm welcome. Will definitely make this one of my regular spots!

Visited Local Dealer Food Inc in Amsterdam and had an absolutely delightful experience that I couldn’t wait to share. The freshness and flavors of the dishes surpassed my expectations. The staff were not only courteous but went out of their way to ensure a pleasant dining experience. Their tacos were so delicious that I still can’t forget their taste. A place you should definitely visit during your trip to Amsterdam

We went for Birria Nite (Tues/Wed). The Birria quesadilla was okay and the Crispy chicken with chipotle mayo was okay too. The highlight of the night was definitely the Birriamen - best shared between 2-3 people since it’s flavor intense - and the Spicy/Smoky Margaritas! It’s expensive to come here with an empty stomach haha but by now I realize that seems to be the case with many Mexican restaurants in Amsterdam.

A good place with decent food, amazing service and good atmosphere. We reserved a place prior to coming because we read that it would be rather busy. To that, yes it was busy. The whole restaurant was packed soon after we arrived (1940 on thursday). Service was very swift, warm and welcoming. Although it was definitely a notch more welcoming here than any other place (of this price range) I have ever been. The atmosphere, well, not much to say, it felt mildly like a diner to me. Not sure how a mexican place is supposed to look like, so I can't say much on this front. Overall, we love the service and the atmosphere was good, because we can speak and hear ourselves speak, while we cannot hear others (thus, good acoustics). Food was relatively good. We had 2 dishes of vegetarian tacos, i recommend the mushroom one over the squash one, which was a tad too sweet for me. We had 2 cocktails, the hibiscus sour and tiki tepeche (?), the latter was definitely better, in our opinion. Then came the chicharron (roasted pork belly) and birria quesadilla. Both are very nice. The pork belly was soft and moist, albeit the corners were a bit burnt and i did not exactly enjoy that because they were dry, as they were meat parts. I was a bit sad that it was skin on pork belly because if the skin was crispy, that would have been better... The birria itself was also good. Albeit I liked the toppings more than the mildly burnt quesadilla, which gave a bit of a bitter taste. NOW. I obviously don't know how traditional Mexican food is supposed to be like, so my opinion with the food ends here. Overall, decent-good food, amazing service and very good acoustics :)

Brought my Mexican boyfriend here for a reminder of home and I got his approval! The chilaquiles and the salsas they come with are delicious. They’re more like nachos than authentic chilaquiles, but the flavors are genuine enough. Super fun and joyful vibes at this colorful place. It’s pricey for what you get, but I guess that’s “normal” for a large and popular city like Amsterdam.

I really love the restaurant. Every things was amazing. Service was perfect. Staff very friendly and helpful However, the restaurant is too crowded and the tables are next to each other. Strongly recommend this restaurant and I can say this is the best Mexican food in Amsterdam.

The tacos (Al Pastor Pollo, Carnitas) taste amazing, with the Cartinas is explosive of flavor. The service is friendly, yet a bit slower then it is getting busier, which is not suitable for ones who are in a hurry. The atmosphere was great - it is well set up and we felt quite cozy. Definitely recommend this place and will go back!

I had a phenomenal experience in this place. It's a very friendly and cozy environment to have a different kind of delicious Mexican food. I have been here twice and every time it becomes better and better. Although the first time we had a great time, there was a little bit of delays in with the plates, that made the service a bit okayish. Nonetheless, this did not really influence the fantastic time we had sharing some great tacos and ceviches!

The food was phenomenal! We got almost one of everything on the menu and they knocked it out of the park. The lamb was our favorite and I highly recommend. The Oaxaca old fashioned was delicious as well
