This restaurant was recommended to me many many times by different people. And I finally got the chance to try it! The interior is really small. It can fit like only around 15 people? We arrived before 18 and had to wait for half an hour to get a table for 2. The food was very delicious though. The momos were full of taste. I especially liked the gravy. The soup noodle was fine. I was not a fan of the type of noodle, but the pork was amazing! Everyone should try it!

Absolutely amazing food the atmosphere for a small restaurant the food served is fresh made to order . Chicken dumplings was super delicious juicy fresh and tasty with many flavors from not just sauce but the chicken inside was marinated cooked to perfection super soft barely had to chew . Our chicken chowmein was tasty noodles were perfect cooked the flavors was spot with a bit of tang and spice chicken was cooked with amazing burnt skin prepared fresh grilled fresh I saw them cooking it . Our chicken soup “spicy jhol” was extremely flavorful fresh warm perfectly spicy again for the cold Amsterdam weather . All in all a solid 5 star restaurant I wish we had enough space to order everything on menu but it was only me and my friend .

Delicious authentic food in a small cozy setting. The menu offers a good variety of dishes that can also be shared among multiple people. The restaurant was easily reached from the central station on foot (could be cut down on by taking public transport). The staff was very friendly and answered our questions well. Their high rating is deserved, be sure to give it a try.

Amazing! The veggie Momos were delicious! We also got the chicken fried rice and Noodle bowl with chicken, both also really good. Could be a long wait since the place is small but totally worth it. We had to wait 50 minutes but we just went across the alley and had drinks while we waited.

I understand the hype now- this traditional nepali place is worth the visit. not many seating spots but the tasty momos more than make up for it! Highly recommend the noodles too. Wish they would just serve tap water to customers instead of forcing us to purchase bottled water but it’s just a minor issue.

So good! We had the chicken steamed momo dumplings in sesame sauce, and the noodle soup with pork. To our surprise the pork on the soup was like a roast pork and it was so crispy and delicious! The dumplings were also so juicy and really large serve. Unfortunately our seat was right next to the toilet door which was not the nicest experience but that’s a small thing for really great food!!

The place itself is very small, I think about 15 people max inside. But it is hella crowded. Thankfully I waited less than 10 mins to be seated during lunch time. I ordered their pork chula, chicken with broken rice (I honestly forgot what most of their menu name) and a chicken fried rice. We also got their steamed dumplings in sesame sauce. The server, which was a girl, was very helpful & informative. She told us since most of our food were already heavy in tomato & coriander sauce, we should get the momo with sesame sauce. Also, the chula which was meant to be served cold, she informed me that she would tell the kitchen to have it a lil bit warm, cause she wasnt sure if it would be to my likings. My pork chula was suuuper flavorful, and the broken rice, its more like a rice flakes hahaha. I thought it would be bland but it turns out to have some seasoning on it. Love this. The portion of their food may seem small at first, but it was actually fulfilling, especially the chicken fried rice. Momo was good, fillings to ratio is just perfect. I ordered the steamed pork ones, but would def try their pan fried or their chilli version.

Scrumptious and (apparently) authentic Nepalese food. I went by myself and the experience could not have been better; the waiter was helpful and genuine, and the food was flavourful. I had the Momos prepared in the most traditional way (steamed & in sesame sauce). Highly recommend going in a group and sharing!

Great food, I recommend 100%! I tried the pork momos, the lamb and the chicken noddles. Everything was delicious, especially the momos. You must try it. The only thing is that there is some wait (about 1 hour for diner) and that you cannot make a reservation without coming to the restaurant.

Decent food, specially the spicy Momo's were delicious and worth trying. It can be tough to get direct seats so reserve in advance. Or go to the place write your name and wander around till they call you.

As a fellow South Asian, I will say they are actually good. Properly seasoned and spicy, unlike other restaurants who tones it down for the locals. The woman who was the manager I think, was extremely well behaved and answered to our questions. The food was very large portioned & tasty. The Momo's are of authentic taste. It's a bit expensive though.

FYI tourists: NO FREE TAP WATER Food was amazing! Did not like the chili momos, would prefer the pan seared ones. The noodle soup was refreshing because we didn't want to pay for water. The Thali and lamb skewers were great, so many unique flavor profiles that you can't find elsewhere. Would come back again for those two. The doorway is covered loosely by drapes which let's all the cold in whenever anyone opens the door. Interior fits maybe five parties, so be prepared for a 30-45 min wait.

The dishes were very tasteful and the service and ambiente fit the restaurant well. It has a cozy and family like vibe. Being in a group of 6 was risky, but the front manager regrouped some tables in our favor so we can fit and sit next to each other.

Bhatti Pasal was a complete surprise. We tried Bhatti Pasal because of reviews online and the reviews did not at all disappoint. The chilli dumplings (MOMO) were out of this world (great flavor with a nice kick), the chicken wok noodles (CHOWMEIN) were flavorful, and the BBQ lamb (SEKUWA) was so good that I’ve actually had dreams about this dish.

Located near the most popular shopping street in Amsterdam, Bhakti Pasal is the perfect place for a break from the busy crowd or when you want a quick bite with a friend. The place is small, so one might need to queue for few minutes to find a sit, but the service is good and fast and food definitely worth the wait!

First time ever trying Nepalese food and i was impressed. The atmosphere and the service are also of top quality, and the personnel is very friendly. Definitely must try the Momo dumplings and the chicken Sekuwa (if it's pronounced like this).

We came 7 minutes before opening and the lady saw it was pouring rain and let us in early. So kind! The food was delicious. We got their top recommend dumplings and lamb plate. Very clear everything was made to order. So glad we saw this place from a random TikTok.

My favourite restaurant in Amsterdam. Went on our last full day and loved it so much we stopped by on our last day just before our flight. The fried dumplings in the sesame sauce is incredible! The waitresses were lovely and very welcoming

I really liked this cozy Nepalese restaurant. The service was very normal for the Netherlands. The food was fresh and yummy. I had the vegetarian momos kothay (pan fried) with sesame sauce and fresh mint tea, and it was just the right amount of food for lunch.

First time I ate at a Nepali restaurant, and it was an excellent choice to taste this cuisine for the first time. The dishes we ordered were large and tasty. We loved the spices. The restaurant is small, if the place is full you will have to wait your turn outside. Special and pleasant design of the place. Kind and quick service. You can pay in cash or by card.

I ordered a sweet milk tea and the pan fried pork momo with sesame sauce. The sweet milk tea was great! The momo were a bit bland for my taste but maybe it just wasn't my thing, but usually I'm a big fan of any dumplings. It was busy, the small restaurant was full and there was line outside. I get that people are waiting, but just putting the waitress just putting the bill on the table, with the pin device already in her hands didn't feel very nice. Especially when I still wanted to order something. Overall the experience was okay, but I wouldn't visit again.

I had an incredible experience at Bhatti Pasal! The attentive service made our visit special, and the food was not only amazing but also surprisingly affordable. Despite the limited tables and no reservations, it's absolutely worth a visit. Can't wait to go back!

One of the greatest meals I ever had in my life. Such a tiny restaurant that it's ALWAYS busy that means it's worth the wait to eat there . I wish I can come back one day to eat there again .

Wanted to try Nepalese food, so went here for lunch. The place was incredibly small. Luckily we immediatly got a seat. Sadly there were no lamb skewers anymore. The dishes we ordered were nice. Loved the tiny dumplings!

I came across this place for the love of momos. Totally loved the steamed chicken momos. The sauce that came along with the momos was decent :) Ordered chicken wok/noodles. It was too oily. Loved the momos but the wok tasted like home made noodles. Quick service and prompt response of the waiters. Good proportion of meal. Momos was worth the penny.

Delicious food, everything works fine - we got the table quickly without waiting long. the grilled lamb screwer is tender and juicy; the chilly momos are so tasty (not spicy :)); steamed momos are classic with the sesame sauce. we also liked the potato salad and first time had the beaten rice. will go back for sure.

The food was amazing and the people were really friendly. The best Momo I've had in a while. Strongly recommend. Will definitely return if I'm in Amsterdam again.

Food is delicious, waiters are friendly. The service is a bit slow during rush hours though. We ordered the food from the google photos, haha, the steam pork dumplings are delicious. The dumplings are hot, the ‘soup’ is cold.

Tried potato salad and fried dumplings and they were simply AMAZING!

  • 5/5 Klau D. 2 years ago on Google
I’ll give it a 5⭐️because the food was simply delicious 🤤. I loved that the menu is small so you can really know better what to order. Everything looks amazing in the menu. For sure I’ll be back and try a different plate. I feel like trying everything there. Vegetarian dumplings 🥟 were delicious.

Although the place is small, it is truly charming. I would suggest making reservations as it gets full quite quickly. Food is fresh and delicious! Great prices for city center of Amsterdam :)

Cozy restaurant with a small but very tasty menu. Highly recommend the pork Momo. A fun spot to visit with a group so you can try multiple dishes

Cannot recommend Bhatti Pasal highly enough. We ate the veggie steamed Momo in sesame sauce (and also got a side of the tomato coriander) and an order each of the mixed veggie and chicken wok noodles. Everything was delectable. One thing I will warn of is that it is quite small inside so you might expect a wait; however, the staff is very friendly and accommodating, and a wait is worth it!

Had a great meal over there and was pretty happy with my first time trying Nepalese food. The service was also good and made me understand a bit about the eating habits of the people from there. I went for the traditional dish and recommend it for lamb meat lovers

This is the first place we went on our Amsterdam city trip and it was a great choice. The food is very authentic, healthy and tasty. The crispy chicken in our noodle soup was extraordinary ! 🍗🍜🇳🇵

Big portions and super tasty! We got the Chili vegetable dumplings (best dish), chicken noodle soup and chicken fried rice. A hidden gem, would definitely recommend!

We came for lunch after reading the reviews. Got lucky as there was no queue. Tiny place can barely seat 15 persons with open kitchen right behind you; but delicious, authentic food tastefully presented. We ordered Momo, fried rice with chicken (my favorite!), and noodle soup with chicken.

One ofy favorite restaurants in Amsterdam! I have been in this place more than 10 times and it never disappointed me. I love the food, it is one of the best dishes you can get in Amsterdam and also the price is really good based on the portion that you get. My favorite food in this place is "Momo chili chicken", it is one of a kind. The only downside is there is no reservation and you need to go there and add your name to the waiting list.

👍👍 The perfect place to enjoy high-quality seafood at a reasonable price.
