This place was outstanding! My wife and I had been in Germany and Amsterdam for the past week, and this was our last meal before leaving. Talk about saving the best for last! The restaurant has a cool, hip vibe. Nice and dark, but enough light to see and eat. The menu was wide ranging, from Asian (Bao sandwiches) to Mexican ((nachos) to Dutch (Bitterballen). All of it excellent! Even the fries were the freshest, crunchiest, and tastiest we’ve had even in the US. Drink menu is also extensive. They had a drink with mezcal that was smoky awesome! Highly recommended!

Big place with alot of big tables. The reason we came here was because we were a big group (6 ppl), the staff was very nice and helpful buttt: The menu is poor and really pricey (19 Euro for a burger??) When we got this burger I couldn't believe my eyes, it was tiny, burned although we asked it for medium. When we asked about it and asked for a new one, they took it back and made a new one, and were very nice about it and for a compensation for the long wait they gave us some extra fries. Very nice of them! For me I ordered a ham and cheese toast that wasn't good. Everything took a very long time. Sorry but I don't recommend this place and if so, just for a drink.

Food was fresh and amazing. Server was very accommodating of us only speaking english, and very understanding when we had a payment issue and had to wait for euro conversion. I wish i caught his name but he was extremely nice.

Quite good cuisine for reasonable price. Serve daily special dish. Food at good quality, high variety of starters and main dishes, open cuisine. Minus two stars because I recognised a cook not washing his hands after toilet. Service excellent.

Nice place on the go, they have seitan finger foods and the nachos is recommended, also with non alcoholic cocktails, I was impressed. The place gets quiet busy by evening. The outside seating is heated in the winter.

If you are looking for a good restaurant close to Heineke museaum then this is the place to be, i had a hamburger and it was very tasty !! Service was good, personal was very nice, the realm was also good!! I would like to come back next time again!!

Stumbled across this lovely cafe. Lots of yummy options on the menu. We had the shakshuka and rueben sandwich, plus fries and bitterballen. Everything was delicious and piping hot, you could tell it had been freshly made. Service was really good and a very friendly and cosy atmosphere. Would recommend!

Nachos are really bad, clearly out of the bag but not from a famous brand (could be Doritos though) and the burger… that cannot be called beed burger, it’s a sausage patty!!!

Small but nice selection of beers and delicious snacks. Staff are really friendly and accommodating. They currently seem to stay open longer than most other restaurants/bars in the area so that's a big plus!

There's more to love than just the Moscow mules and loaded friends at this location. A great place to relax and enjoy the scenery of this great country.

Venster used to be a nice place I liked coming to. Unfortunately it seems it’s owned/managed by just another mediocre Amsterdam (= no service) management. I say this because I don’t want to blame the staff who works hard and does their best. However there is way too few staff and they’re completely untrained making it all very unorganized, slow, inefficient and no staff member is actively attending to the table’s needs. We had to wait very long to order, and had to eat without drinks. And we were by far not the only table complaining.

Nice coffee. Very friendly staff. Like other reviewers stated it is very noisy inside. It is ok to have a talk but don’t expect a silent diner / lunch. We had bad luck that we were stuck at a very sticky table hence the 3 star rating. Nice hip place.

Overall vibe is nice, cocktails are allright, waiters are kind, however the service is rather on the slow side. It’s nice to stop by for some drinks and chill after work

I likes the food and the service. The waitress was kind but could be more friendly maybe :) They have indoor and outdoor space.

To be honest the menu didn’t look promising. I have eaten here before and liked it so I gave the new menu a chance. I had the asparagus risotto and it was amazing! Great flavours and perfectly done. My friends also enjoyed their meals. We dined outside as it was a lovely evening. The only strange thing was they put up umbrellas half way through our meal. The lights were uninviting with pink, purple and red tones. It changed the mood in a bad way.

A comfortable place where you can talk to your friends as much as you want. There are many friendly staff, so the food is served quite quickly.

Amazing service, great cocktails and the Korean fried chicken is to die for. Great place for dinner, or for just drinks as well. We were eight people initially, but had more join throughout the evening, this was not a problem for the staff at all, and they were very accommodating throughout the whole night. Highly recommend!!

Found this place while strolling the streets and the kitchen was going to close in half an hour.. We ordered some bitter ballen, Korean chicken and a Salmon fish.. The bitter ballen and chicken were good however the salmon was under done. We had to send it back but it was made right.. overall okay

Service is slow and unprofessional. We waited for like 15 minutes to be served. Nobody came to take the order, so we placed the order through the QR-code, 2 coffees took them 15 minutes to make. Half of my coffee was spilled out. Overall it is a good and chill place in de Pijp.

Very cozy place. The wine glasses are very small but overall really nice food and price’s.

Waited for 40 minutes for our food, which is kinda ridiculous as it's not a fancy place and everything on the menu is simple enough. Sure it was busy, but 40 minutes? You're out of your depth. The bun of the burger was soggy, and the vegetables that came with the dorado were undercooked. Quite hard to chew it down. It was hurried, what a shame. Underwhelming experience, and for the price not good. I don't advise this place.

The service was overall acceptable but for the price of the food and the drinks I would say it is not to standard. The waiters were reluctant to even ask the kitchen about the possibilty of having a different sauce with the fries we ordered. Overall okay experience but I would not come here again.

Had the saddlery soup and thai salad, both were delicious, however the bast part of the cafe was the interior and atmosphere.
