This is bad food, I guess this guy just treats the non Indians well, hence all the good reviews from them. Dear Dutch nationals this is fake Indian food please be aware. The rotis are hard, the paneer stale, the chicken was like rubber. As Indians dinning at an Indian Restaurant abroad, We are also paying money for the food we order , its not like we have come to eat for free. But sadly ... The food was cold and the waiter repeatedly wanted us to go out saying the kitchen was closed by 9 PM and that the chef was not pleased taking any more orders. IF In case was true , he must have informed us the moment we entered the restaurant. If there is an authority in the Netherlands if i can report against quality of food , please do let me know i'll file a complaint.

I went to have dinner with my friends and to put it short it was amazing! the food, the aesthetics and the employees were all top quality. It wasn’t too expensive and the food was really delicious. I’ve enjoyed every second of that night. There were enough options for vegetarians so it was a really amazing experience and I will definitely return.

I cannot get over how amazing this place is. The staff were extremely clean, kind, and generous. The food was DELICIOUS. They did an excellent job at dosing down the spice level without really compromising that kick of spice that I crave — the balance is fantastic. I highly recommend this place! A small, clean and quiet restaurant, but great food and service. We ordered bunch of food and it came in sizes that actually we could share 😅, lessons to learn here don't be ashamed to ask.

Everything we ordered tasted perfectly! They brought out pappadam as a starter. We had samosas, biryani, chicken tikka masala, aloo matter, and garlic naan, and everything was great! The food is brought out and kept on top of a heating device so your food stays hot. It was also nice to enjoy our meal next to the window and watch the people passing by below. Would recommend this restaurant to any friend visiting Amsterdam.

The owner was very rude, refused to serve us food. We were four of us from India doing a trip in Amsterdam and we wanted to have some good Indian food. We had already had dinner elsewhere, but as we wanted to have Indian, we decided to order less food. The owner agreed to serve reluctantly. Later when we returned the water bottle as he was charging us through the roof, he denied service and very rudely said he would not serve us. We would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. There are many other good Indian restaurants in Amsterdam. Go there instead!

Great food. Hot, fresh, and tasty. Every dish was uniquely spiced. The rice pudding for dessert was like a forgotten memory. I shared the special menu for two with a friend. We both loved it.

Greeted warmly at the entrance and seated at a nice window seat. The atmosphere was very relaxed with light music in the background. Food arrived in a timely manner and filled with robust flavors. Very good experience overall. Employees are very attentive to their customers.

An Undiscovered Restaurant!! Almost hidden in the middle of Amsterdam this Pakinan/Indian restaurant. The food was amazing, delicious, and authentic. Portions per plate where good enough. Service is very nice and friendly. I will certainly come back.

There is a better restaurant called the "Kohinoor" please go there. Dear Fellow Indians please stay away this guy serves cold/stale food. We were a gang on 8 people (Dutch and Indian) and ordered food of 200 euros only to get rotten panner, frozen chicken and stale shahi ... This guy thinks he can name an Indian Restaurant and serve stale food.. There were a few Indian couples as well who had a problem of this server who made "Indians" wait and attend only to others.. to come back at the end to say there is not enough food. The rice stinks The curry is stale The quality is 1/4 to what you pay. Stay away.....

Ordered Biryani and Sheek kabab, Sheek kabad was not fresh, looks like frozen and heated, not prepared. Biryani was not like Biryani tasted like fried rice, not Dum Biryani at all, prepared with instant paste I guess. Autitude of owner was not good. He seems not interested to serve Indians, and when I ordered a Biryani, he was repeatedly asking me you ordered only one main course for two people, even though he knew quantity was sufficient for two. He was looking as if we have to order two main course. Typical money minded restaurant owner trying to rip the customers. We expected Indian restaurant to be friendly and welcoming, but found he did not like Indians coming in and ordering less food, his only interest seem to be ripping of westerners. He also did not offer plain drinking water, we have to buy costly bottled water only, again another means to rip the customers. Please avoid it especially Indians, both food and attitude is horrible.

Great restaurant! I have enjoyed many a wonderful meal here over the last 15 years of visiting Amsterdam. Small and intimate with excellent service and really good food. Reasonably priced with many options. I am a vegetarian and they have many excellent meat free dishes for me to choose from. Everyone I have taken to the Mogul restaurant has had a great dinner. I highly recommend this restaurant!

The food was very tasty and there was plenty of it. We saw great reviews and being from Birmingham UK, we love Pakistani cuisine. We ordered the bhindi bhagee, butter chicken and bhuna with rice and garlic/peshwari naan. Well balanced flavours and spice but they will also accomodate to the customer if you tell them how spicy you want it. Sat at the window and celebrated my cousins 30th birthday with a couple vodka mixers too. The price was fair for central location and we will definitely come back if we are ever in Amsterdam again :)

Amazing tasting food. The butter chicken was so creamy and delicious. The atmosphere was so calm and cozy and veryy friendly staff. Reminded me of home😄
