As I see it, this place is an unofficial Italian embassy in De Pijp. The moment you step in you feel just like in Italy (which is always a marvellous sensation). Food and service are both amazing. Do yourself a favour and try the porchetta, it's very hard to describe but I can guarantee that you will go back. If you like a bit of spicy in your food, you can always ask them to add 'Nduja (a spicy spreadable sausage from Italy) which is just perfect.

Honestly one of the best places in Amsterdam to try real Italian food. The pinsa with porchetta was very tasty, even though there was not a lot of porchetta which left me (slightly) disappointed. The place is very characteristic, relatively small and crowded. So it really looks an Italian pizzeria which is great. Don’t go here if you expect to have a fancy experience, but also because this place is definitely not meant to be fancy. But if you wanna try delicious food then definitely have a try. The downside are prices which for the pinsa with tomato may be fair (14,5 euro) , but I think the pinsa with porchetta was a bit too much: 17 euro for a medium pinsa with porchetta, as you can see in the first picture.

The pork sandwich is really great, definitely the star of the show. Even though its expensive its really worth it. The pizza is also good. I had the margeritha and i enjoyed it. Only critic points are that i felt the margerita could have been a bit more salty, and they dont serve wine, only beer and soft drinks.

Came on a Sunday and they only serve Pinsa (sandwiches), no pizza. That wasn’t an issue though because the sandwiches were delicious!!! Fresh, high quality ingredients and the perfect lunch. Two of us ate for €15 so the prices were nice. Staff was kind as well. Would recommend!

Pizza is good, but we had to wait 1 hour for ours - other tables arrived later and got their order before us, etc. Service is unfriendly. There are better choices in Amsterdam.

Loved the mortadella/truffle pinsa 👌 but unfortunately had to wait a lot more than announced for the food. Service as a whole could be muuuch improved. The whole restaurant was also quite cold 🥲 In short: lots of potential but wouldn’t go back.

The food was really good here, especially porcetta sandwich, that in itself is reason enough to go. However there was no beer and no red wine. They did have white wine but you got lousy half full glasses. Also atmosphere wise, there are some pretty easy fixes on the lighting and rehanging objects on the wall to make the overall experience a bit more enjoyable.

Authentic Italian food ! We went there on a Friday very randomly but omg it was the best choice we did. Super chill atmosphere (you can eat just at the restaurant no take away), waiters were super cool and friendly. You should definitely try the pizza / sandwiches with Porchetta and Burrata. Amazing ! We will come back for sure

The place is mediocre in terms of tables, variety of food, and drinks. However, the pizza was outstanding, and the dough is well prepared. It was crispy, fluffy with no yeast flavor what’s so ever The service was so friendly and fun, and the guys were singing together and happy giving the place a warm environment. There is a pizza I forgot to picture, which was one of the best flavors ever tasted. The borata Margherita pizza, it was so delicious Adding a truffle to your pizza is the best idea you might think of. I would just recommend the guys to speed up their service and not to forget any ordered requests

Away from tourist crowds in the relative calm of De Pijp you can have the kind of pizza or pinsa that brings back memories of a holiday in Italy. Judging by a number of Italian patrons, it reminds them of the home too… We will be back, many times, I’m sure..

So good! Along a quiet street with other restaurants, it's a cozy restaurant that is busy. All cooked in a wood fired oven with excellent ingredients, and served quickly. Attentive hosts, definitely recommend.

Small place, but with a very good menu of pinsas. Staff is usually very busy with all the visitors and orders as they both serve and cook the food. So far the only pinsa restaurant I’ve discovered in Amsterdam, and I loved it!

Can’t recommend this place more! I get it whenever friends are visiting. Staff are friendly and lovely. The homemade porchetta sandwich is another level. You can have it for breakfast with a hot drink, lunch with a glass of wine or dinner with a bottle of wine.

One of the best Pizza’s i ever had, even that i had to order more, because I couldn’t get enough of it. The staff is also very friendly.

Amazing homemade porchetta and pizza, made by a couple of friendly Italians. Authentic atmosphere and music, in this hidden gem of Amsterdam 💯 Probably a bit better than the local cuisine.

The food is very good, but the service could be better. We had to wait for a very long time (45 minutes for 3 pizzas) and they did not come to us, we had to ask them to be able to order. They need more staff here for sure.

Very loud and bad sounding boxes that played some kind of rap music. But that is personal preference. The fungi option was with fresh mushrooms but the tomato sauce was just passata from a carton with no spices or taste. The grilled pork was also a little bland but it was ok.

I feel blessed that I don't live so far from this place, I will keep coming back! Certainly the best traditional pizza I have found in all Amsterdam and of course in all NL. All the entire menu is delicious and the treatment is pleasant. Me, family and friends are all happy as always with you Porchetteria team, grazie!

👍👍 The perfect place to enjoy high-quality seafood at a reasonable price. Was surprised to see this large restaurant buzzing at 5pm (both inside and outside!) but after seeing the fresh fish on display and trying the sashimi which just melts in the mouth I understood why. The staff were also very well-...
