Turkish kebab sabba

Restaurant

😠 Beware. They are fraudsters. First they don't give you menu. Once you asked they take 10 minutes to provide just a menu. I ordered kapsalon and chicken wings that cost €8.50 and €5 respectively. But they charged me €20. Even not providing bill as well. When I asked why 20 they said I had big portion... People often mention nice, Amsterdam, good, kebab, menu, meat, wrap, prices, paid,

If you’re looking for reheated shawarma and doner which are burnt to a crisp and taste like absolutely nothing…. This is the place for you! Nothing worse than a dishonest restaurant that serves old reheated food when you have fresh meat on the burner… what a mistake! The owner tells you to sit down after you order and it is not to make you comfortable but rather to try and pull the wool over your eyes. I’ve never seen anything like it… with all the amazing doner restaurants in Amsterdam STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS ONE

Food is so good! Tasty and plentiful. More importantly, the service was amazing. The worker is so very kind and wonderful- I truly enjoyed speaking with him. Im new in the city and I want to be glad with the choices I make about where I spend my money. This shop was 100% that. I am so happy to have stopped in and I would stop in every day of my trip. The wrap and the pita are perfect foods to walk around and enjoy this gorgeous city.

Food is decent. Shawarma was very good however, Chicken fried pieces were oily. French fries were very salty. Hospitality is good. Burger was without the bun. So only this piece of meat was given without any proper burger. Quantity is good.

I went there for lunch, the owner was really nice. However, I've been to Turkey many times and this restaurant is far from Turkish food. The kebab and chicken are not grilled and you can clearly see there is no grill in the restaurant. The food is oily, either the quality of meat is not great or the food is deep fried. The menu showed different prices, so I ordered something which had a cost of €12.5 against it. However, the owner said the prices on the menu are not aligned with the food so I paid €15.60. I could easily make a fuss about it but I wasn't bothered. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone visiting Amsterdam, you could find better quality food with less cost somewhere around.

Quality has decreased enormously in comparison to some years ago. Also 24 euro for two durums of shawarma and two sodas is too much. And actually it is not shoarma anymore but kebab.

CAREFUL RIP-OFF 8 euros for a really bad Kebap, almost no sauce, only salad, no prices outside. Falafel are frozen reheated. Has about 1/3rd of the food of a normal Kebap (when comparing to Berlin) It looks like the 5 star reviews are payed for

The best food I've had in the past few months. The service was great, and the place was very clean. The platters of food were served hot and fresh. Well worth the cost. Will be eating here again for sure. Thank you for the great experience!

Not good at all! Avoid this place! The food might not be bad but the price depends on how you are looking not on the menu. Better ask before you order!

What a great place for Shoarma. The best in Amsterdam! I ate here three times on this trip! Make sure to ask for the special onion relish!

Ate here twice and I got shawarma wraps. 8€ each time. Plenty of meat and tasted good. The guys working there were also very nice. Solid B+

The staff is extremely accommodating and greets you to a table, requests your order by the table and proposes drinks which is beyond anything any kebab place would ever do. It's such a simple gesture but the difference between just another kebab place or a returning restaurant. High respect for these gentlemen.

Ordered one kapsalon and one durum döner and got charged €18. According to the menu this should have been €11 in total. Although the food was okay, it’s a shame that this guy is ripping people off.

The meat was amazing. The sauce amazing. The personel was nice and cherfull. They talked with me and my falmily we event laughed about the stairs in Amsterdam. But you should ask about the prices up front cause they arent as on display. If you are around here you should check this place out.

A Döner kebab with real lamb meat! Delicious! Prepared in front of you by nice people! We repeated the next day as it is totally worth the money and it’s super tasty! Forget about the place in front!

Asked for a doner box and coke for take away turns they gave me a wrap and charged me 10 euros instead of 7.5. I mean I would bot even bother to leave this comment if doner was actually eatable. It was one of the worst I ever had

Be careful. We ask one thing and they charge you another, in the end. When you explain you didn’t order that, they say you did, the price almost doubled. Super bad ethic and care with costumers, not recommend at all.

Total scam. I had the most expensive kebab I've ever eaten. It had an extremely tiny amount of meat on it and they tried to charge more than it was supposed to. They offer "large size" but that one is not even listed jn the menu. We suspect there is no "large size" all breads are the same and it's just a way to rob you. I wish I could give zero stars...

Good food, friendly price, but the behaviour of the man at the orders was unacceptable. I ordered and paid with card a wrap and as I was waiting for it he asked me to pay again and he denied the fact that I had already paid. When I showed him the receipt in my mobile banking app, that I had paid already, the salesman reinvented his story by saying that I took the food and "gave it to my friend". There was no friend of mine there, I told him that I was waiting for the food that I've paid and he insisted that my friend took it and that I was trying to steal from him an extra wrap. Finally he gave me the wrap as he made me a favour. Such thief-like behaviour is unprofessional. Hope it was an isolated incident and not the normal behaviour of this salesman

got 2 kebabs. me and my gf paid €32 euros for 2 meals. i get that this place preys on drunk people, but not showing prices until the bill shows up is a new low. don’t go to his place unless you have endless money.

👍👍 The perfect place to enjoy high-quality seafood at a reasonable price. Was surprised to see this large restaurant buzzing at 5pm (both inside and outside!) but after seeing the fresh fish on display and trying the sashimi which just melts in the mouth I understood why. The staff were also very well-...
