***UPDATED*** We just visited Trattoria That's Amore yesterday. Not only did we order the same meal as our last visit, but we also added a Margherita Pizza. They brought us a pepper infused Olive Oil to to drizzle over our pizza. This was even tastier than our last visit. This is our favorite Italian restaurant in Amsterdam and they are completely amazing. 🙂😘 This place was absolutely fabulous! The servers were extremely friendly and welcoming. The food was also amazing! We could tell that the pasta was homemade. The pasta was the best we have eaten. We will definitely be back soon. Thank you for making our date night a memorable one. 💗

We had a tasty meal here. Service was attentive and friendly. The bruschetta was tasty, I enjoyed the papardelle and my wife had a lovely risotto. The kids ate pizza (the Italian sausage was best). Wine was okay and the price was reasonable.

Really tasty pizza I have ever tasted in my life. So soft and melts on your tongue. Service was super friendly and thanks for accommodating us last minute! Was looking for risotto dishes but it wasn't on the menu (visited in autumn) Only downside that the tiramisu was a little too small for the price, was expecting it to be larger. Nevertheless I'll be coming again for their pizzas!!!!

This was my first time dining here and it will be my last. We ordered a salad, a grilled octopus starter, and a pizza. I asked my server a question about the wine menu and she said she did not know, walked away, and did not come back.The salad and octopus were to come first. They were both very average. We waited forever for our pizza. It was obvious they forgot to put the order in on time, but decided not to own up to it when I asked. While waiting for the pizza a man came up and asked us what our question was about the wine....it had been at least 30 min since we had asked our server about it. The pizza came and was average at best. There was not enough cheese and it was a bit sloppy. The crust was good. We did not finish the pizza. The restroom resembled a dungeon. To be brutally honest, this is the worst restaurant and worst service I have experienced in Amsterdam. This is my 3rd visit in a span of 6 years. Please, take your business a few blocks up the street.

Authentic Italian spot in the center of Amsterdam. Antipasto with burrata , pasta and pizza selections for everyone tastes. A must try!

Really awesome food, great choice of wines, cosy atmosphere, professional and courteous staff - in other words, absolutely recommended. Even better than most Italian restaurants in Italy!

I am in Netherlands since 2017, but from far away it’s the best place that I’ve been dining ever in this country. Nice stuff, food amazing, make me feel better then home So 5 stars + for you guys , with love from a Romanian customer more then satisfied.

Thank you for the lovely dinner! The pizza & pizza was sublime and the sgroppino’s the fluffiest I have ever tasted them. We loved as well the primitivo wine to share. Also appreciate the price level the food was charged at, whereas in other places in Amsterdam you pay high price & receive small quantities. Thanks 🙏

The pizza here was so delicious but it’s the staff that would make me come back again and again. The waitress was so lovely - she had a smile on her face.

A gem of a restaurant! We had a pizza, fettuccine and the pork belly and all three were amazing. Do not miss the fettuccine though! We made a reservation about 15 minutes before on a Friday night and were lucky to get a table.

Lovely wine and perfectly cooked pasta. I just missed the parmesan on the top and a spoon to help with the pasta, otherwise I would give 5 stars.

UPDATE: Unfortunately, they can be inconsistent with their pizza so I am no longer giving it 5 stars. It's a hit or miss, something you never want as a restaurant. I won't be ordering from here anytime soon. One of the great pizza places to go in Amsterdam. I have ordered it a few times and it's always been as expected.

As a couple we are massive fans of Italy, not only for the great food, but the people and the family atmosphere, this restaurant perfectly personifies all the best parts of Italy, from the friendly staff, to the tasty food and the homely restaurant. We have always had a great meal and look forward to going back soon.

Meh. Food is edible but not good. There was a female server who was obviously sick, she was coughing and I saw her wipe her nose with her bare hand and and then continue serving people. Gross, and dangerous, I would not go back here.

Our first meal out following the easing of Dutch lockdown restrictions, and I'm very glad that we chose Trattoria That's Amore! A restaurant with family owned and run vibes, this quaint Italian has a great location in the central-south of Amsterdam. The staff were welcoming and friendly, giving us a choice of seats in either a quiet section or elsewhere with a bit more ambiance. The food is lovey and fresh; the carpaccio and pizza were absolutely devine! The wine selected was a perfect match for the food and couldn't have been better. I'm looking forward to many more returning trips and making this spot more of a local!

Great 4 seasons pizza that we split between two along with a bottle of Perroni Lemon. The artichokes and salami were super delicious topping. Quick, good service

Mixed opinion. On one hand, the ingredients are of good quality and the dishes are tasty and well prepared. On the other, waiting almost an hour to be served is not acceptable for a place of this category and price range. It felt that they were either short of staff or not properly organized. The staff is friendly and the place is neatly decorated. If they would solve the described issues, I would give them an additonal star.

When you see Italian customers arriving, it means something. I have been to That’s Amore before and today it was nothing but perfect. Great fresh pasta, courses well presented and a kind service by the waitresses. A small glass of icy Mirto rounded it off perfectly. Cannoli is also very good here. I didn’t have Pizza but they looked delicious on other tables. This is a must-go restaurant for Italian-food lovers in Amsterdam. We’ll done!

It was good food (and plenty of it). Friendly Italian speaking staff. The meals were delicious and the time between the meals was perfect! I would really recommend this place if you like Italian food.

Gorgeous food, great vibes, attentive staff. Just don't forget to save some of the appetiser bread to mop up the sauce after your meal!

Simply the best!!! Everyone is so nice and welcoming. I usually go with my little one for pizza during nice days and we sit outside. My parents were visiting and we went for pasta. It was delicious. We will always be back!

I was disappointed with my experience at your restaurant. We were unexpectedly asked to leave within 20 minutes or stand at the bar, despite no apparent demand for our table. This policy, especially when ordering cocktails and snacks, seemed unfair. If there's a minimum consumption rule, it should be communicated upfront to avoid frustrating situations. This lack of transparency might lead customers to have a bad experience

I wanna reply to your reply. First of all you said “you need to leave in 15min first rather than if there are other guests coming you should move” unfortunately there are no new customers coming and I am sure that we will move if someone need to enjoy pizza at Saturday night. And for taking care of the business I ordered the most expensive cocktail which is same price as a pizza and some snacks one of my friends also ordered cocktail only one girl might just ordered a beer. You can paste something like “people are not allowed to sit in the table if you don’t order staple food”But it doesn’t matter now hope you have good day.
