The best Yakiniku restaurant! They have the best wagyu that I have tried! The wagyu nigiri sushi and the sirloin yakishabu are my all time favorites! The wagyu roast beef salad was also so good! I hope to come back again soon!

We had an ultimate Wagyu experience here. We payed 160 p.p excluding drinks and got around 7 courses. Everything was delicious/finger licking, but amount of food was too big for the most of us to handle. But we still tried to finish everything because we already payed:) Meat quality is great but it is quite heavy and fatty so be careful if you have issues with stomach. Staff was very professional and explained everything about the meat. I liked drink menu which had a lot of nice cocktails and good price for wine. Summary: I can suggest the place but would recommend A la carte menu because you can control amount of food.

Came here for dinner with a big group and the food, service, and ambience was excellent. Meat was 👌👌 👌. The hot stone pot rice dishes were amazing. Highly recommend the garlic wagyu one. The kimchi was also perfectly seasoned.

We went for lunch to this restaurant. Shame the building is not matching the quality of the food which is delicious. We had some good advice from the waitress to take one menu plus some additional dishes. Everything was delicious. I recommend !

I recently dined at Wagyu Kanata, and I must say it was the best Japanese BBQ experience I've had in a long while. The quality of their Wagyu cuts is top-notch, and their marinades are truly exceptional. It's a must-visit for any BBQ enthusiast!

WOW WOW WOW!!! The meat was fantastic! Our host Neo was just perfect. Funny, welcoming and informative. We started with a delicious meat dish, and each time they served a new dish it just got better and better. Thanks a lot for such a good dinner.

Delicious food and a fun experience! We opted to go a la carte and ordered the Wagyu platter, the beef tongue with spring onions, and the harami. They were all good but the ribeye on the platter was the definitely the best. We also got the umami cabbage and seaweed salad as starters. The seaweed salad was not what you typically expect with the classic Japanese restaurant seaweed salad (in a good way) and had dried seaweed and chopped vegetables. But my favorite dish, even beyond the ribeye, was the umami cabbage. SO GOOD! All of that with drinks was €185, which wasn’t bad for A5 Wagyu. Things came out quickly and our server was very friendly and made sure we knew how each piece should be cooked. It was also my husband’s birthday and they brought out dessert with candles. So thoughtful!

The food was truly excellent, everything from the vegetables to the mouthwatering wagyu meat tasted delicious. The service was also outstanding. The staff were friendly, very attentive and informative. I told them I have allergies and they informed me with each dish if it contained any of my allergens. It's my new favourite restaurant and can't wait to go again! I highly recommend visiting!

Wagyu Kanata completely exceeded my expectations during my recent visit. This place has officially become my go-to for Japanese Yakiniku in the Netherlands and is the best compared to other places by far. The A5 Wagyu cuts were a cut above the rest – the marbling and quality were unparalleled. I can’t help but gush about the marinades; they took the whole experience up a notch. The beef quite literally melted in my mouth, and for a moment, it felt like I had been transported to heaven. Although the dessert selection is somewhat limited, the treats available are undeniably delicious. The ice cream, in particular, serves as a delightful palate cleanser, effectively balancing and clearing away any lingering fat residue in your mouth. This place isn’t just for BBQ enthusiasts; it’s a haven for anyone in need of a Japanese Wagyu fix. If you’re craving for a top-notch Japanese Wagyu, Wagyu Kanata is an absolute must-visit.

We had the wagyu tasting menu and we had one of the best food experience. The meat is tender and soft. The beef tartar and slice of wagyu with egg yolk are our favorite. They have a lot of umami taste. It is highly recommended!

The A5 wagyu chateaubriand is simply became one of the best meat that I've ever had. The overall eating experience was really great. Masumi was very friendly, and she kindly helped us grilling the beef to get the best flavour of the meat (without any extra charge). At the end of the meal, she recommend us to have the sirloin with egg yolk and their special sauce (which turns out really really good!!!). Then we ordered the taiyaki for dessert, and turns out it is on the house because they know that I came there for celebrate my birthday. They really made my day. 🫶🏻

My first experience of eating Wagyu beef and I was not disappointed! We went for the tasting menu and every dish was so delicious. We spent 3 hours dining there and the pace was perfect. The waitress did check with us and told us we could ask for it faster or slower if we wanted. The way the staff brought out every dish and explained everything was lovely. Great atmosphere, amazing food, we will definitely be going back!

I'd like to start off with that I can't recommend going here enough. We came to Wagyu Kanata to celebrate a special occasion by doing the tasting menu and we had such a wonderful experience. The food was so very flavourful and I think we had Wagyu prepared in each traditional Japanese way possible. Aside from the tasty food the service was also very personal. We seemed to have a server dedicated to us, who would explain things about the dishes/cuts of Wagyu and also prepare plates table side for us yakiniku style. For our budget doing such dinners isn't a weekly occasion so I am so happy we chose Wagyu Kanata to have this first time Wagyu experience and a thank you to the wonderful staff that made our evening! :)

First time eating wagyu beef, the piece of meat was small, but it was very delicious! The service was great, the atmosphere was not spectacular! They so call matcha ice cream was really a green colour ice cream. The quality of the food was amazing though.

Phenomenal flavours, and great service. The Yakiniku is done in a very elegant and authentic way. The Chef explained the different cuts and walked us through every new bite in what ended up being an extremely memorable dinner experience. We had the Wagyu Tasting Course to celebrate my birthday, and it was worth every penny of its hefty price tag.

Had an amazing experience at Kanata yesterday. We had the Wagyu tasting course and it blowed our minds. We’ve had wagyu before in other restaurants in NL but this one is by far the best one. This whole experience got even better because of our amazing waitress Haruka. I recently graduated which just casually came up during conversation and they surprised us with this cute message on the dessert!

This restaurant is simply amazing. The ambiance and smells are great, the staff is very kind and helpful, and the food is very tasty. It's expensive, but worth it! And it's kinda expected given it's wagyu meat. Their wagyu gyosas are divine, and the rest of the meat is great as well. I had the basic course menu and I could taste a bit of everything. Most of the bits of meat were thin slices, a bit fat but very good nonetheless, and the thicker wagyu cuts simply melt in your mouth! I absolutely recommend it.

overall, one of the best dinners I have ever had- in my life We went for the wagyu tasting course and the wine package. Excellent meat but I dont know enough about wagyu to be able to grade it myself it but it was very very good. We also got the wine package but this caused a lot of confusion for the staff, I think they are not used to it. 10 ppl can of course not share one single bottle for three courses so we had to order extra bottles. The wine was of very good quality though. expensive yes (260 euro with wine and drinks) but as I said: it was one of the best meals I ever had.

An amazing experience, the Wagyu tasting menu is worth every cent. Every dish is high quality, served with an explanation and cooked to perfection, while also giving you the chance to try the yakiniku yourself which adds a unique element on top of the excellent service.

Booked the wagyu tasting corse for me and my husband online. All the dishes are amazing. Very recommend!! Wagyu sushi and wagyu Yakisuki are my favorite:) Location is a bit little far from the center we took a Uber, and each course comes a little bit too long time. Otherwise everything we are very satisfied:)

Special dinner experience that was slightly spoilt by grill being not hot enough. We took the basic set menu for 80 euros and the meat quality was really high - there were 6 different cuts, including tongue, which I particularly enjoyed. The marinades were also really nice. Unfortunately the grill appeared to be too cold: this meant that instead of searing, our beef roasted a little bit, giving up a lot of juice and not getting the grilled crust outside. The starters, rice and desert were alright but could’ve been more interesting and portions were quite small. My rating: 3.7.

The meat was all delicious (even the non A5 grade), very soft and feels buttery that you can cut it with chopsticks 😅 one of the best meat i've ever ate! Even the rice was super tasty 😆

Great service, very friendly and willing to explain the difference in meat cuts and unknown elements on the menu. Very good broth, meat and condiments and definitely worthwhile

Such an amazing place to eat Wagyu, we ordered the Premium wagyu course, it’s worth the money. Staff is really friendly and helpful.

The best place in the Netherlands to have the authentic Japanese yakiniku experience and have A5 wagyu. Building is incospicuously located but well reachable. Great service, great place to go to for real wagyu and the premium wagyu course is definitely worth the money.

👍👍 The perfect place to enjoy high-quality seafood at a reasonable price. Was surprised to see this large restaurant buzzing at 5pm (both inside and outside!) but after seeing the fresh fish on display and trying the sashimi which just melts in the mouth I understood why. The staff were also very well-...
