For those who want to skip the long queues at the ticket booths regularly seen at the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum, make your way to Museum Shop at Museumplein just next to the Iamsterdam Letters. You can buy tickets to both museums as well as Stedelijk Museum here and will endure a much less painful queuing experience. Note: Ticket purchase is by credit/debit card only, cash payments are not accepted at the Museum Shop ticker counter. This ticket purchasing facility at Museum Shop can be a lifesaver if you don't have museum tickets and want to squeeze in more than one of the major museums at Museumplein. Note: Recently, a new museum called Moco opened up at the Villa Alsberg property at Museumplein. This is another modern and contemporary museum which will feature temporary exhibitions in what is a much smaller art venue than Stedelijk. Presently, the inaugural exhibition for Moco is being shown. It is a collection of graffiti artworks by English based artist, Banksy. This is a good opportunity to see a large number of works by a relative newcomer on the world art scene. We also very much enjoyed seeing Museumplein with the trees still full of green leaves in mid October. This makes for a much more attractive scene compared to visits during winter months when the trees are without foliage. This situation will likely change soon as the autumn season progresses towards winter.

The little shop near all the museums left me appalled. The selection was limited and the employee was incredibly rude. She snapped at me and belittled me. Please do not shop here.

The highly anticipated launch of the PokemonXvanGogh items in the webshop went very poorly. Neatly registered for the newsletter and enthusiastically received an email that the webshop is live. The entire webshop will be down within a few minutes. Too bad, as this could have been prevented. By the way, the products in the store are also sold for a certain period without a limit. Result: items that are offered on Marktplaats for 4x the original price. I'm really disappointed.

Extremely rude female staff member on duty Sunday morning 23rd April. Young, small, with shoulder length brown hair. Bought nothing. Have spoken of our experience with several people. A very bad idea to be obnoxious to the customers who are effectively paying your salary.

The famous works are offered here as designs for a wide variety of things - only the glasses cleaning cloth I was looking for wasn't available.

The Pokemon promotion was too much for the museum, how can you let it get to that point in the first instance for your staff, "ill-considered" but it was also "expected" and the card was removed from the promotion and online shop. If you don't want to swap entrance tickets for a Pokemon card, respond with standard email for every question, BADLY BAD! The museum is large enough for a separate enclosed Poke exhibit. Tickets are €20 and they would rather refund the money than give you a ticket

Wonderful little museum shop with very good options for buying souvenirs about Van Gogh and his work.

Pretty nice little shop, which was not too crowded. Surrounded by many museums. There you had a possibility to not only buy some postcards and pins but even cubic rubes with Van Goghs' art and cups and many more interesting objects that would represent the theme of surrounding museums. Even if you got so unlucky like we did and the line for your favorite museum was just too long you can catch a little essence of the museum in this shop and take it with you home.

Order placed for Pokémon prints. After 2 months still no delivery, in fact no update. You see other people receiving prints (Canvas) but so far I haven't heard anything. I just contacted customer service after 2 10 minutes in queue and submitted a callback request. Called back no answer. Then called back and finally got someone on the phone. He can't tell me anything then, I just have to send an email. Coincidentally, it happened 5 (!) days ago, no response, of course we get the standard excuse "busy" again. As you can read, you can't get anything done here. In addition, they have of course already received the payment.

Nice shop with lots of items related to the museums near Museum Square. Reasonable prices.
