Don’t eat or work there. There are better places. Maybe you will be lucky enough to get a fresh croissant in the morning perhaps they will be from the day before. Nothing else is fresh and the place is full of mice and birds walking inside eating left overs. Biggest tourist trap and ripoff ever. The manager treats staff with no respect and looking at female customers in a disgusting way.

Nice decorated place, but they don’t usually get your order right, I ordered a strawberry with Nutella Crepes, and in a instant of distraction... I got a banana Nutella. It wasn’t worth it to argue with it, and it wasn’t any tasty and a good experience!

Overpriced tourist trap. Beware, late at night they double the prices and trap unsuspecting tourists. I was charged 9 euro for a cake that I was going to give to my adult friend I was caring for because he cannot order for himself. The cake was badly baked and he was so upset he needed a McDonald’s flurry to make him feel better. It ruined our evening.

Customers beware! We were visiting Amsterdam and decided to treat our kids with pastries. When the owner went to pick the selected dessert, we asked to give us one with fresh strawberries instead. She refused. When we asked why, she pointed to my teenage daughter's Star of David necklace and said: "You know why." I am astonished that mere meters from a Pride Parade prosession and 1.5 km from Anne Frank's house, ANTISEMITISM is still practiced in broad daylight. SHAME on the owners!!!

I dont normally leave reviews but I had to for this place. I bought two slices of cake for 15euros!! No prices on anything. The cakes were rock hard and stale. Worst cake I've ever had and ridiculously priced. Don't be fooled by how they look, their horrible. So disappointed as I'm in Amsterdam for my birthday and this was a slice of cake to celebrate. I would have given 0 stars but couldn't. AVOID

The waffle was so stale and hard that it broke my fork. Pics to prove. Also, there's no place to eat the waffle. There seemed to be tables in the other pics, but they were nowhere to be found

Prices are exorbitantly high. Each scoop of ice Cream is priced 2.5, which is ridiculously high. Other stores at least provide a discount on incremental scoops but here they are exploiting just because it’s located in a tourist spot. The other sweet delicacies are exorbitantly priced. The taste of the ice creams are delicious. It’s only worth one time try. Secondly, the place is too congested. There is only one way entry and no easy passage doe a customer to wait in line again since there is a big line of customers already waiting outside.

There weren’t any price tag and this was for 7 euros. Heard him quoting someone else 6 euros just when we were leaving. Tourist trap!

I paid €8 for a small watered down milkshake. The texture was so liquidy and it was somehow warm? I almost paid €3 for a water. I guess I was in a tourist trap.

Do not buy anything from here. We asked how much for a small cup of Gelato and they said 3,50. Charged us 15 eu for 2 small cups! Not that good and scoops were small! Buyer beware!

Never step into this shop unless you’re looking for a €8 microwave heated Poffertjes. 🤡

The food itself was OK, but probably a little pricey. The man behind the counter had the customer service skills of an actual waffle.

The shakes are thin and small for 8 euro each. The shakes are with 2 tiny balls of ice cream.

Disgusting not worth 10 euros. Cold grocery store. The waffles at grocery store are even better.

This is a scam! There are no prices listed, and they charged me 10 euros for a banana pancake. It's absolutely outrageous and not worth it at all!

Rip off. No prices shown and charged 54 euros for 4 slices of cake, 2 diy cups of tea and 2 cans of pop! Clearly taking advantage of tourists. Avoid.

The ice cream was okay, but they clearly take advantage of tourists, not having prices up and charging 10.5+ euros (~$17) for 3 scoops which is completely unjustifiable.

👍👍 We visited this bakery again after probably 10 years because it was just that amazing the first time. I have been recommending it to everyone who visited Amsterdam in the meantime and we are extremely happy that we got another chance this year. We had wonderful high tea there (twice).
